LOL...that wasn't actually proven, though, right? I thought I read somewhere that it was just a rumor someone spread on Twitter about West.

Odom is a beast. In international play, at least. -
Semifinals: USA vs. Lithuania

Why does Billups take the 24-foot three with 17-18 seconds left on the shot clock? He just stands there with the ball, looking at the defender, then takes the three. He's done that at least twice in every game. -
Stop bypassing the word censor.

Magic Johnson made way too many pinpoint, accurate and impressive passes for me to ignore. I can't toss him to the side just because he didn't set the record for career assists, either, since he didn't play as long as Stock. Stockton made a lot of nice passes, but Magic had more ball control to pull off fakes and passes Stockton has never attempted, notably on the break.

If you could suspend the law of time...

Kobe and Jordan will run away with this. I would also love to see Shaq play Kareem. -
http://i52.tinypic.com/zlvzx2.jpg I remember earlier comments where he said he wanted to be a Cavalier for life, but actually stating that he doesn't want to go ring-chasing...haha, that's crazy. Things change, of course...but I figured our Cavaliers fans would like to save this to their computer, make it their background on their desktop, and create shirts with it to wear to the December game against Miami. I dunno.

Grades are in! NBA Summer Report Card
Real Deal replied to The Regime's topic in General NBA Discussion
The grades aren't necessarily given based on the caliber of players, but what you did to fill your needs. Otherwise, the best teams from 2009-10 would be getting some of the worst grades, due to not being able to sign a superstar free agent or make a big trade they really don't need. LA filled every hole in their roster, every weakness, from defense at the point to backup three (Walton is done), to legit backup PF (Powell is trash) and getting rid of our non-triangle players. Realistically, the off-season couldn't have gone any better for us. -

LA retained Shannon. LA brought back Phil Jackson as well...and Blake is basically a starter, not to mention they landed two of the top 10-15 rookies in the draft in the second round. -

Bogut, and I don't see how anyone else comes close at this point. Salmons was the missing ingredient, but he's no franchise player. I really can't say much about Jennings right now because he hit the rookie wall midway through the year, fatigued quite a bit and started chucking and missing shots. Andrew Bogut has shown he's a force on both sides of the ball, surprisingly improving his defense last season. He's also their only legit threat down low, and losing him changes the entire course of the Bucks' season over 82 games.

It will more than likely be Bargnani, but if you're going to add Weems into the discussion, you can't leave out Jack or DeRozan. But Andrea should be getting the most touches. I don't remember exactly what he put up last year (around 15-20 PPG), but I do know he wasn't shooting poorly from the floor, and he was also hitting a decent percentage from downtown as well.

The idea is that Boozer would play the five, Gibson starting at the four. C - Boozer | Thomas | Asik PF - Gibson | Johnson SF - Anthony | Korver SG - Brewer | Bogans PG - Rose | Watson Of course, they will sign other players before diving into the season, may even pick up one or two along with Melo in the trade, if it goes down.

I expected Lithuania to win, but not by 19 points.
