  1. He was making a suggestion, people. If you have nothing to contribute to the topic, stay out of it. Not really difficult unless you're too childish to gather your maturity in topics such as this one. As for the change, I don't know. I believe I increased them to 140x140 a while back, but it only made it worse for those who have trouble viewing topics because of the GIF files being used.
  2. I wouldn't mind seeing him shoot 0-30 and getting into a fight with Bosh, just because the fans are getting to him that game. Would be sick.
  3. It's not the arguing, it's the guys that act ignorant in topics. I have let many, many debates turn into arguments. That's not really that big of a problem most of the time. But those that really do care about the site (not saying you don't) know that the problem is the immaturity, turning topics into something completely irrelevant on purpose before they even hit the second page. People acting like they really don't give a damn about the discussion here. Someone will post something about card collecting, and it turns into trash. A member made a mistake and wants help cleaning out his system and passing a drug test? Okay, either help him out or don't reply. There is much less stress over it, really, than there was a few years ago. I'm not even to that point. But if it gets to that point, I'll just start dropping people myself. The moderators hand out generous suspensions. I'm the exact opposite.
  4. The Boston-Miami game will probably contain at least 80 combined free throws. But with Shaq playing, it should help Boston reach at least 10.
  5. http://www.openoffice.org To be honest with you, Open Office is almost as good. Basically the same thing, and I believe it's fully compatible.
  6. Sorry Nitro, I needed to close the topic.
  7. Yeah. If it's just some girl you like, I wouldn't consider that a big deal...but it's your girl. You're in a relationship with her. You have a right to be upset, and she has no right to go looking for sex elsewhere, no matter who it's with.
  8. Ouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu. I know what that means.
  9. Whoa...didn't know he never scored 50 at home. Learn something new every day.
  10. When he returns to Cleveland to play the Cavaliers, what do you honestly expect fans to do, and what do you expect from LeBron? I have this feeling things will be thrown on the court. Maybe similar to the Lakers fans throwing their foam fingers last year (dumb). Maybe old LeBron jerseys? :o I've heard that Cavs fans were planning on not showing up, but then changed their mind because they need to be there to support their team. I also expect some of the loudest boos I've ever heard every time he touches the ball. Will LeBron even play over 30 minutes? I wonder how he'll react to all of it.
  11. Just adds the possibility of 10-15 points in the paint for Boston, a true big that actually has a good offensive game under the rim (I don't consider Davis a center, and Perkins isn't an offensive threat most of the time). Miami should be concerned, as well as Orlando, honestly.
  12. Read it again and again. Mods, just start handing out more suspensions. Seven days minimum. Don't worry about the activity...we'll deal with that later. If you see someone causing problems over and over again, and he/she won't let it go, drop them from the site and I'll increase/decrease the suspension, or hand out the permanent ban. Gonna keep this up as long as we have members acting bipolar. It's good to be funny every now and then, but it's completely idiotic when you're trying to be funny all the time, and you really aren't. At all.
  13. LMAO, sounds like you've already got the plan ready. I'm not so sure anyone else can give you advice.
  14. Other than Hedo and Bosh, what players have spit on the franchise after their departure? Just curious...because I really have no idea.
  15. Typo. And Ellis looks like an all-star caliber player that's actually in the same boat as Kevin Martin. He's not a team player, and he's not a first option on a successful playoff team. And yes, teams do have to settle on fillers, bad contracts and average-to-bad players to get what they really want...it happens all the time. If there's someone out there that the Warriors are targeting, and they need Cleveland's help to get the trade done, they will do it...and if it means getting back Mo Williams JUST to get that particular player from a third team, they will do it. Not sure if you have something against Cleveland, Mo Williams (because of what he said to Wade), or what...but Mo is no scrub. He's a legit starter...overpaid a little, but so are a ton of players in the league.
  16. Nobody said the Cavaliers were going after Mo Williams. They would have to take him to make salaries work, and if they wanted Hickson (like Phoenix did) and another decent player from a third team. Stop overreacting to what people are saying. Monta Ellis is not THAT great of a player.
  17. Probably average...mainly based on him not playing much.
  18. I feel like spending my savings just to get front row seats to the first Miami/Cleveland game of the season, and driving all the way to Ohio to see it. Hearing the crowd will draw enough excitement, in my opinion.
  19. OKC should just stick him on the block before the deadline. Teams would be interested in a defensive-minded player like Green, and it's better to trade him now before his contract expires. Where to go from there? Well, look for a true PF in the draft, if there's no option available in a trade. The Thunder will be around $9 million under the cap this season, and Green is making $4.46 million...so the Thunder could absorb a bigger contract of, maybe, a disgruntled PF? He wouldn't have to be an all-star, just someone who can score in the post.
  20. Simple question. Seven years of possibly the best play they have ever had out of a player...do they retire his number?
  21. Opening night, Heat @ Cavs. Christmas Day, Heat @ Lakers. Might as well go big.
  22. Not that much of a difference, really. I feel lighter on my feet, though. You can tell that much, at least. I'm picky about what shoes I wear out on the court, though...mainly just Nike. The most comfortable shoe I've ever worn was the Adidas Kobe II's...but once you break into the Kobe V's, they are pretty nice.
  23. Doesn't really matter, whatever feels more comfortable to you. It really won't affect the shoe's stability THAT much. I'd tie them, though.
  24. Williams has three years left (because he will take his PO's). Ellis is getting paid more, four years left, PO in the fourth. Golden State would take Williams if it meant getting Hickson, or someone they REALLY desire in a three-way deal. Monta is a borderline all-star, but he's also a detriment to Curry's production and progression as a player and point guard. Williams knows his role and plays it. Monta needs to shine somewhere else, and if the Warriors can get back a valuable and cheap player (like Hickson, who was in trade talks for Amare), the Warriors pull the trigger because it's a win-win situation for them.
