  1. The other part of you shouldn't want the playoffs, because you would lose to Cleveland by 40 points in all four games. :\
  2. Nope, it's been raining and a little colder than it should be at night, but I'm running the ceiling fans and stand-ups. Gonna go as long as I can, too, for the sake of my electric bill.
  3. The baiting isn't the problem, really. It's allowed here, just not to the extreme. It makes for good discussion sometimes, and more intensity in the playoffs. The point I was making about the Kobe video, by posting the LeBron one, was that I had two PM's complaining about the LeBron/Telfair mag cover. As you can see in this topic, people also don't like some of kingfish's posts about LeBron. While I felt the magazine topic was pretty stupid, it was no worse than Mason posting the Kobe video (which also leads to no discussion) and the post by Bulletproof, who actually understood why the topic was posted in the first place (the gay reference). You saw the reaction when I posted the James video. One is baiting, one isn't? That's not how it works. Either both are, or both aren't. The reaction to the LeBron video should've been the same as the reaction to the Kobe video, but it wasn't...which actually put a smile on my face, because it's what I expected. Lesson learned, I hope. Thread closed.
  4. Curry needs Monta gone. Sounds selfish, but it's the truth. While Ellis did show signs of improved defense, he's stepping in the way of Curry's development, and in the end, it's Stephen that is the better playmaker and ultimately, better for the team. Does he really have the flu? Probably not. I wouldn't be surprised to see him in trade discussions soon.
  5. I'd gather the pictures together first, then create the topic and post them all at the beginning, and bold the two names. That's probably best for those who may not know what some of these girls look like.
  6. DeMarcus Cousins is in, and so is Xavier Henry. Just skimmed over the list, though.
  7. Nah, not at all. I just want them to win the first round series they are in and be able to root for them as long as possible, but it won't happen if they play us.
  8. LOL, yep. This was one of the funniest commercials I've seen in a long time.
  9. Can't say it's pointless. The more Utah loses, the closer they get to a first-round loss, and that has to be satisfying for Houston fans.
  10. The career may belong to Nelson, but the man of the night was Curry. 27 points on 12-22 FG (55%), 8 rebounds, 14 assists, 7 steals Fire. That's pretty close to a quad-double.
  11. Figures. Keep slipping to that eighth seed, Thunder.
  12. The Raptors are the most inconsistent team I've ever seen. They weren't looking too good to start the season, then they surged and threw themselves into the playoffs, went on a nice streak of wins and looked good after putting Jack in the five, got weird and changed things up again, but then Bosh started dominating all by himself...and just like that, the Raptors went south in the playoff rankings, then their players started becoming extinct due to injuries, and now it looks as if their kind will be wiped off the map by mid-April.
  13. I think I know who you're talking about...the kid that had 30% more lung capacity, or something like that?
  14. Melo and Billups are a combined 10-30 (5-15 each) from the floor, and the Nuggets look confused out there. This should've been an easy win for Denver, even on the road, because the Thunder just had it out with the Jazz last night, 140-139. The Thunder are for real.
  15. Nothing is negative when they are beating the Jazz.
  16. He's going to be a very good basketball player in high school, that's for sure. I can't say he'll be good enough to be a D1 player, though...way too early. Some players hit that wall at 16 or 17 years old.
  17. Who knows? If he was 5'1" and 110 pounds, 13 years old, with glasses, a suit and pocket-protector, and black...do you think this would've happened? If it was a guy with the size and facial features of Brock Lesnar, and same skin color, with a tank top on? If you see a white guy walking down the alley, and he's wearing a hoodie and he's a foot taller than you and about 100 pounds heavier, and it's midnight, do you brush it off because he's white, or do you keep an eye on him? Skin color doesn't make a difference. Here's a really good question to ask yourself, though: how many black guys shop at that particular Apple store? I'm sure he's not the only one. Do you think they do this every time? Size, weight, facial expressions, tone, it all plays a part in someone taking caution. He seems to be a big guy, and a big guy in a hurry (and probably demanding the employee to hurry) is a problem.
  18. New rules for round two: 1) 16 lines max. 2) At least one of those lines must be about your opponent's favorite sports team (basketball, football, etc). 3) One line has to end with your opponent's display name on OTR. You can exclude numbers. For example, "Yugo" and "stat" can be used in this battle. 4) Cussing will be censored if you decide to use it. Don't bypass the censor with asterisks or other symbols. 5) If you say Dick Vitale's first name, please censor it yourself by typing [expletive]. In the manner it would be used in this contest, it should be filtered out. NOBODY ELSE POST IN THIS TOPIC UNTIL THE SECOND RAP IS ADDED. After both competitors are finished, members can place their vote. Please explain your vote. The lower seeds (in terms of position) go first. Based on this match-up, Yugo will be asked to post his, followed by s.t.a.t. You have two days to post. Good luck, fellas. Run yo mouth!
  19. Gonna go ahead and close this one. Nice job guys.
