The only thing that has ever worked on OTR (where everyone actually stuck with it) was the mock season. Not much goes into it, really, so it's basically just trading and using your knowledge of the players. I was planning on starting it up soon, but if you guys are wanting something else, then it's no big deal.

Next time you mouth off to any of my members on this site, your IP is banned, and so is the entire range of IP's you can use, and I'll redirect all of your IP's to whatever site I choose. You're either going to be here and behave like a good little boy, or you're going to sit in the corner and never going to come out of it. Kobe's list of game-winning shots
Real Deal replied to Real Deal's topic in Los Angeles Lakers Team Forum
Like when he passed to Ron Artest to try and win that first game against Memphis this season, when Ron missed the three? Or when Fisher hit that three against Orlando in the Finals, after Kobe's pass out of the post? What about when Kobe passed to Luke Walton against the Knicks a few years back, only to watch Luke pass the ball back to him right when the buzzer sounded? How about the pass Kobe made to Odom a few years back, when Odom airballed the attempted game-winning, wide-open 18-footer? There's a reason he takes the shot. He's the most clutch player in the history of the game. If he doesn't take it, it's a mistake. -
Not exactly. Everyone else has a lesser chance of getting it. If there were two teams, that would be the correct way of looking at it...but there are 30, so the Nets will have the biggest chance of getting Wall, followed by everyone else.

Mike Ganter needs to proofread his articles, it looks like. It's one thing to spell a word wrong, but a really good (and professional) writer rarely uses the word "they're" incorrectly. But yeah, the team needed to hear this. Bosh is no exception to it, though. He's off and on quite a bit.

If we had lost that game, I would've been pissed. It's our rivals. We don't lose to them, especially in the Big 12 championship game.

Once Stewart fouled out and it went into OT, that was it. I actually think Miss could've won it had they had Barry for the overtime. He wasn't shooting the rock well, but he was killing it on the glass, and was also a big part of their offense, even without the buckets.

Actually, nobody is offended because nobody cares.

Don't reply. He thought Denver was going to sweep us the last two times we played them in the Playoffs, and he brings up the Nuggets in every topic he posts in, so we kinda just look the other way.

Evans should have a big game, but it's really up to Landry if the Kings are going to win this one. It's in Arco, so it may be down to the wire for Portland.

I think things are going to change now. Odom isn't happy about the way opposing players talk about us, and our team is starting to figure out they aren't as physical as they need to be. Phoenix doesn't play defense, but they do run the pick and roll better than anyone else in the league and over the last decade. Unfortunately, that's our weakness, so our top-ranked defense (top three, statistically) should come into play here, and take out the Suns on their own floor.

The Grizzlies have been losing a lot of home games lately (had that streak of eight losses at home before they beat the Nets). The Knicks will come out running, so Memphis has to slow them down, control the tempo, and force the ball into Randolph and Gasol. Grizz should win, but you never know.

Blatche goes big, and Washington gets the win against a Pistons team that, really, nobody understands right now.
-
Yep, Chicago needs this win badly. They are slowly falling out of the playoff race. This may be a good opportunity for Beasley to come out firing and attacking the rim. Wade will have to work for his points tonight, as Hinrich has always defended him well.
-
Boston is 5-5 in their last 10, and they are still in a slump. This is Rondo's time to shine against a Pacers team that has no way of stopping him. Boston should win this one at home.

Cleveland wins by 80, LeBron sits in the fourth.

Charlotte wins this comfortably. Eric Gordon is still out, right?

San Antonio @ Minnesota

It would be nice to see the Wolves pull off an upset, but there's going to be too much Duncan tonight. -
West SHOULD have a big game, and Collison needs to take advantage of Billups' knees. Darren is too fast, so you may see the Denver bigs in foul trouble.

New Jersey @ Oklahoma City
Real Deal replied to alcstarheel's topic in Oklahoma City Thunder Team Forum
In Oklahoma City? Durant and Westbrook are playing too good to be in a close game against the Nets. Nobody in Jersey can stop either of them, and Ibaka has been playing good defense lately. -
We'll see what the Bucks are really made of here...but then again, the Jazz are 17-14 on the road. Too bad this isn't in Utah. I'm still rooting for the Bucks, though.

[Completed] Greatest point guard of all-time?
Real Deal replied to Real Deal's topic in General NBA Discussion
This is probably going to be a blow-out for Magic Johnson. He was an excellent passer, could score and play multiple positions on the floor, won five rings and multiple MVP awards. -
Be sure to bold your vote, then follow it up with an argument as to why you believe he is deserving of the vote.

[Completed] Greatest center in NBA history?
Real Deal replied to Real Deal's topic in General NBA Discussion
If the stats don't lie, why not Wilt? I think many should make an argument for a guy that averaged 50 PPG in a season, and thumped everyone rebounding...but then, I suppose you have to look at the competition as well. Bill Russell has 11 rings. He'd be one to consider.
