  1. Yep. I think Gasol should take a look in the mirror when speaking about the team as a whole, because he's part of the problem as well...but speaks like he's not.
  2. Bump. Just saw this picture. Looks like Kobe was pulling a Shane Battier... http://d.yimg.com/a/p/sp/getty/63/fullj.e39a13215a8733184fdfcb03428bb2dd/e39a13215a8733184fdfcb03428bb2dd-getty-.jpg
  3. I don't even know what you're arguing with me for, then, Mason. All I said was that his on-ball defense isn't good. You're picking apart me saying he couldn't defend borderline all-stars one-on-one, but the entire point is, he's not an elite defensive player. If he has improved substantially every single season, as an on-ball defender...then he'd have to be an elite on-ball defender. That is, unless he was just horrific when he first came into the NBA, as in...Jose Calderon horrific. So you say he's an elite help defender, decent on-ball defender? I don't see where that translates into an elite defender. Sorry. He allows others to score on him, but stops players from scoring on his teammates a few times a game. Well...I can't say I see it in the same light as you do.
  4. Yeah, but I can't say that's all on Brooks, either. Martin isn't moving around half the time, and the other half that he does, he looks to be irritated when the ball doesn't fall into his hands. Sort of like he did when Tyreke was on the floor with him. I think, at the end of the day, you guys will find out that Kevin Martin is a one-man show, or he's a no-show. That's why the Kings traded him, and that's why Dallas didn't want to trade much for him.
  5. Al Jefferson was a no-show tonight, but Love stepped up. Too bad for the Wolves, though...Josh Smith was a monster. Minny outscored Atlanta by six in that fourth quarter and almost made it a game, but they just ran out of time.
  6. B-Rush did okay, Granger completely choked and was destroyed by Deng...and everyone in the starting five shot over 50% for Chicago. High-scoring game...too much Deng, too many fouls having to defend an aggressive Flip Murray.
  7. If we didn't have to play the Grizzlies like we were against the 72-win Bulls last night, I think we would've had some energy left for the end of the game. This is what happens, though, when you have to rely on Bryant to bail you out of games you should be winning by 10+ points. He's sore the next night, you're still praying he scores 40, and you lose in the end.
  8. Damn man, why can't we just win a damn game convincingly when we are all healthy?
  9. Spurs are locking him up. Man. COME ON! The Thunder need this win on the road. It'll give them another kick in the ass, and maybe they can start up another streak.
  10. ...and it's not looking good for Kevin right now. The Spurs are locking him up.
  11. Gotta lock this up. You can't create topics and discuss streaming games, file sharing, etc.
  12. I don't think some of you are understanding the topic. If you were these guys, what would YOU do? Haha, if you need to delete your votes and reselect, you can.
  13. They've done it to CNN, also. It's actually getting really stupid. The SportsCenter one was funny...but these two, not so much. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c544F1CgymA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_TJjCCDtSdU

  15. Wow, that's pretty amazing. Numbers seem to be wrong, though. 12/16/1986 - 3/11/1987 (22-18 record) 40 games of 25+ PPG 37.3 PPG 28.2 FGA, 11.6 FTA 1.32 PPS 48.1% FG, 20.0% 3PT, 86.6% FT
  16. Yes...good post, Flash! That's what I want everyone to do! LeBron James goes to the Nets. Now, this is sort of assuming they get John Wall. LeBron gets to team up with his buddy (Wall), hang out with Jay-Z, play in New York (Brooklyn), and team up with Wall, Harris, Lopez and Douglas-Roberts. That team contends instantly. He may be leaving Cleveland, but with Shaq and Ilgauskas getting old, and Jamison on that bubble as well, this season may be their last big push for a title. Dwyane Wade goes to the Bulls. In fact, I actually believe this will happen more than any other scenario among the three free agents. Chicago is his hometown. They have Derrick Rose, Luol Deng, Kirk Hinrich and Joakim Noah. It's a chance for Wade to pair up with a point guard that will take the load off his shoulders facilitating, a backup guard that will help slow superstars in the backcourt, a defensive-minded big in Noah that provides some frontcourt security, and another scorer in Luol Deng that takes some attention away from Dwyane. Must I say more? Chris Bosh goes to the Thunder, who are coming off a nine-game winning streak, losing to a Phoenix Suns team that would probably have been wiped off the court, if OKC was paying a big like Bosh. Pairing up with Durant, Green and a very impressive Westbrook (who is averaging something to the tune of 19/6/9 in the last 10-11 games), that team becomes title contenders instantly.
  17. Putting yourself in their shoes, thinking about your family, your career, and your fans...if you were the following free agents, where would you go this off-season? Explain your votes in the topic.
