  1. It's official! http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=4924662
  2. The Knicks are going to miss out on Tyrus, so the team getting involved in this trade may have become more likely.
  3. Haha, I commented. He's just seeking attention from his article.
  4. It's official... http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=ys-thomasbobcats021810&prov=yhoo&type=lgns
  5. So the official word is this: the Heat didn't want to give up Beasley and a draft pick. Instead, Miami agreed to go with a pick, Udonis Haslem and Quentin Richardson, which Phoenix turned down. The Heat had no problem dealing one of their picks for the 2010 draft (first-rounder), but Beasley was going nowhere, and the Suns made it clear that if he wasn't included in ANY deal made, Amare won't suit up for the Heat. Instead, Miami wants to make a run for him over the summer.
  6. Yep, I guess there were discussions after the proposed trade was agreed to.
  7. The idea is to have the Kings accept what the Rockets wouldn't...but I'm assuming that means no Jordan Hill, because the reason why the trade wasn't made was because Walsh stated that Hill was staying in New York.
  8. IS THAT ALL YOU HAVE TO SAY? Thanks for doing that.
  9. I don't see why that's so hard to believe in the Eastern Conference. Again, with Calderon starting, they were 9-13. That's on pace to win 33 games...the same exact record as they had last season. Lineup adjustments were huge. Jack has done wonders for the Raptors, as well as the other players...but placing Calderon on the bench, IMO, was the best thing for Toronto. Plus, if you've seen Hedo's terrible play in the last two months or so (decreasing play as well), you'd understand. EDIT: Stats were posted by Sean...completely forgot.
  10. And... Those conversations were possibly about his free agency.
  11. Well, the trade would be made assuming the Bulls waive him, and he comes back to LA (and he would, no question about it, because of his daughter).
  12. It has a lot to do with benching Calderon. They are 20-11 with him on the bench, or just not playing at all...and 9-13 with him starting.
  13. I read that Nate may have traveled to Los Angeles tonight, instead of playing in the game. I wonder how much truth there was to that.
  14. These are probably better. More people will read it, and you can write about anything you want, not restricted to the NBA. I'll just run ADN myself, may even just shut it down if I can't keep up with it. The views on there are terrible. If I have time for anything, it's for OTR, not some personal blog.
  15. http://www.otrbasketball.com/forums/forum/106-member-forum-blogs It's exactly what the forum says. Guidelines and a quick explanation is here: http://www.otrbasketball.com/forums/topic/9539-simple-guidelines We've done this before, and it went well for a while. I hope this is used even more this time around.
  16. Yeah. They offered a package that included Morrison and Vujacic. The Bulls were wanting Morrison and Farmar/Fisher/Brown, just not Vujacic. Buss won't do the deal if Sasha isn't included because we are over the luxury tax threshold, and Hinrich would cost him double. With Sasha costing him $10 million a year (double), he wants to drop him if he's taking in Kirk. Chicago doesn't want Vujacic, despite them still being able to get the room to sign Wade.
  17. You're going to hate him either by April, or when Yao gets back. Put that in your signature.
  18. The trade will stay the same, minus McGrady's destination, if it changes. Sacramento will still get Landry, at least...or else they don't make this deal.
  19. LOL, I know you guys are bored. You can always ship Howard to us for Bynum.
  20. I haven't heard anything at all about the Magic, actually. If there were two guys I'd think would be on the block, though, it would be Gortat or Brandon Bass.
  21. Ferry has been watching him all season long. I don't think the Lakers have cared about McGrady, at all...but who knows.
  22. The Knicks will buy out Brian Cardinal.
  23. 1) The deal could turn into a three-way with the Knicks, and T-Mac could be a Knick by 3 PM EST. 2) Sacramento could keep him. 3) Sacramento could buy him out, and if that's the case... @WojYahooNBA
