  1. I would think the Grizzlies are looking at a small forward, to replace Gay. And why no Sherron Collins in the first round? He should be projected to go late first right now...but I'd say he probably belongs somewhere in between 15-20.
  2. It's not a requirement, no quota or anything like that. Just dive into it and write whenever.
  3. In other words, you wanted to win the award? I don't know what to tell you. You're trying to debate me over an award topic that includes a category most everyone ALWAYS has when they do these, and one that we've had for the 3-4 years we've done them. It looks like most everyone knows what it means. In other words, if we were to discuss who the best posters on the site are, which would be left out of the discussion? And among those, which SHOULD have been inserted into it? It's not hard to figure out, but I'm done talking about it.
  4. Yep, just register there, and give me your full name here (PM or just in the topic).
  5. Took you long enough to come up with that one...but I gave you rep anyways.
  6. Simply put, you think that Antawn Jamison is underrated because he wasn't chosen as an all-star, despite his contributions. Also, how many people actually give him credit for his numbers? Same with the underrated poster. I consider Wali an underrated member because he does a TON for OTR, as a mod, a member and someone who runs our Youtube...but does anyone actually give him props? They could do it in a topic he posts a video in, they could say it in the anniversary topic, they can say it anywhere on the site (as many just go off-topic to begin with). He also makes very intellectual posts, but very few reply to them. A +1 rep would be the thing to do as well, but he's sitting at seven right now. Poe says we don't give anyone credit until this poll, but that's not true. The examples are above. People give reputation points. Was Wali nominated for MVP? He didn't get enough votes to land him in the top nominated group. Even in the NBA, the only official time you are given credit for anything would be the All-Star game and the end-of-season awards, correct? Underrated players, underrated members, same boat...just as the MVP of the league and the MVP of OTR.
  7. I'd actually replace Gasol with Monta Ellis, honestly...but then the West would be without a center on the bench.
  8. All-Stars East STARTERS C - Dwight Howard PF - Kevin Garnett SF - LeBron James SG - Dwyane Wade PG - Allen Iverson RESERVES PF - Chris Bosh SF - Paul Pierce PG - Derrick Rose SG - Joe Johnson SF - Gerald Wallace PG - Rajon Rondo C - Al Horford All-Stars West STARTERS C - Amare Stoudemire PF - Tim Duncan SF - Carmelo Anthony SG - Kobe Bryant PG - Steve Nash RESERVES SF - Kevin Durant PF - Dirk Nowitzki PG - Chris Paul SG - Brandon Roy PF - Pau Gasol PG - Deron Williams PF - Zach Randolph I agree with almost all of them, but I really think Joakim Noah deserves a spot over Al Horford. EDIT: Scratch that. David Lee over both.
  9. I wouldn't never, ever guessed he'd be an all-star if you asked me this in November. Good choice, and well deserved.
  10. No Bynum, haha. I'm GLAD that Kevin Durant got in. He deserves it.
  11. I really think Shannon is going to win this. He went for a Statue of Liberty dunk in one of the games, and it looked like he was going to pull it off nicely until a guy came to block the dunk, and he switched it to a layup. To be honest, I figured both Brown and LeBron would just be those guys that lack creativity, but jump out of the building...but I'm starting to change my mind about Brown.
  12. Nope. Those are user preference options. You can bump certain results to the top of the page for easier access, for example.
  13. Wow, no Carmelo...and the game was in Houston. Denver turned the ball over more. How do the Rockets lose this game? Too many fouls in the act of shooting. It put the Nuggets at the line for 39 free throws. Close game, though, but Denver won it in the fourth.
  14. If anyone wants a place to just blog about any team, player or game, anytime, without feeling like you're creating irrelevant message board topics, you guys can just come over to my blog (AllDayNBA) and register, and I'll set you up with writing access. You need to know how to use WordPress, though...and we can go over that in here...but it's just giving you guys an opportunity to write how you feel. Message boards are more for news and discussions. The blogs are better for those who just want to rant every night. If you start writing articles on the blog, you can post them over here as well...and if I see you're doing a great job with WordPress, you can write for the homepage here at OTR. Let me know if you're interested. When you register (with whatever nickname you want), come back here and PM me your full name (or just post it here in the topic). I would like for all of the bloggers to use their full names, and I'll change it for you once you get that far. http://www.alldaynba.com
  15. Added the game's history since they changed it from two rookie teams to the rookie/sophomore teams. Check out how close this year's sophomores got to winning last year.
  16. Ah, this is easy. Smush Parker Sasha Vujacic Devean George Chucky Atkins Shaquille O'Neal (mainly due to his attitude and his big mouth after the trade to Miami) Excluding Shaq, the other four were just so terrible with the ball (and without it back on defense), it made me sick to my stomach watching them and having to root for them.
  17. Here will be the reactions in this topic... Dems will say that he did good overall, say he may have said a few things that didn't need to be said, or that they just don't agree with. GOP? HE SUCKED. LOSER. The entire speech was terrible, and he should be impeached.
