  1. Thanks. Had some feedback that the design on the others were unique, but they were too slim and didn't show enough of the player (in other words, part of the jersey). Team forum banners will be added as I create them. There's a gap in each forum right now, but that'll change once I stick the new banners up (one player at a time, also).
  2. LOL...joking, right? The Knicks want to trade their best player for someone who just busted his arm/elbow and Jerome James?
  3. Aren't the Warriors playing just eight guys to begin with? Or they were?
  4. Wow, how do you travel to end the game? Potential game-winner or game-tying shot, and you travel. Man...solid game by both teams though, nice back and forth game.
  5. It's just as I thought it would be for the Spurs: live by the Manu, die by the Manu. If he's not going to be healthy enough to contribute efficiently off the bench, San Antonio is not going to the Conference Finals.
  6. Just a temp. ban, until I check the authenticity of his account. He can advertise in his signature as long as he makes thoughtful basketball posts. Otherwise, if he's here just to advertise, there are message boards for that...not OTR.
  7. They are in the same boat as everything else, haha. Just going to be finished when they are finished. I'm trying to do 3-4 things at once, every day, until it's all done...so it's a work in progress with all things incorporated, almost like a project.
  8. Then there was really no point to reply to the ridiculous statement in the first place. RealGM has a ton of Lakers and Raptors fans. InsideHoops has a ton of Lakers and Raptors fans. Those are the two biggest basketball message boards on the internet. SportsTwo has a ton of Lakers and Blazers fans. I'm starting to see a pattern there. The funniest part of all of this is that I could get rid of every bit of information in the left pane of posts (team rep, avatars, location, favorite players) and there would be zero complaining about the number of Lakers fans here. It doesn't show in the actual post...but to the left of them, and that's not my problem if some members (not necessarily saying you unless you're putting yourself in the pool) just can't handle that small logo to the left.
  9. Thanks. It shouldn't be long, actually. Once I get the "template" finished (the Hawks page, haha), then I can roll through the rest of them pretty quickly. And that also helps with the schedule pages, because they will be in a similar format.
  10. Our most recent Laker fan is already posting more than most here. This is just another example of what is wrong with this site. If you don't like the fact that only 25% of this board is of the Lakers fanbase, then go do something about it. Recruit members that will actually post. When you bitch about the fanbase, it's going to turn people away from the forums. It's a no-brainer. Either you guys want this place to succeed, or you want to be the one to complicate things, simple as that. So either do something about it, or don't post your thoughts on the matter. I don't care to read how much it pains you to discuss basketball with about 30 of our 110+ active members being Laker fans, especially when I hear it all the time, and especially when this board is still up because of 2-3 Lakers fans to begin with (among other non-Laker fans posting and not whining). This topic concerns our activity, nothing more. We are DONE talking about anything else. There's a "new topic" button for that, and it belongs in the Site Suggestions forum. If you want to discuss just how many active Laker fans are on OTR, how much they contribute in other team forums, and what they mean to this place compared to you, then we can go that route...just not a good idea for you, but it's definitely not happening in this topic. Mods, delete all posts that concern anything but the activity, and if there's a consecutive post by the same person, give them 10 days.
  11. Go ahead and bring him off the bench, and Iggy too...and everyone else who will help them win games, since Eddie Jordan is the most intelligent coach in the league and is actually flip-flopping with the idea in the first place.
  12. Glad you love being here with 90% of the board (which is actually only 25%). If you don't like it here, why are you still here? Nobody is forcing you to log in, Paul.
  13. Solid game by the Kings...namely Evans, Thompson and Hawes, although Tyreke has to watch the turnovers. Granger did good to keep his team in the game, played good defense, but other than him and Jones, there wasn't many others to bank on when Indiana needed stops.
  14. The one that doesn't fit (shouldn't be that hard to figure out at this point).
  15. Would you go to the Nets if they were to land John Wall, and have a healthy Devin Harris and Brook Lopez in the five?
  16. And Steve will beg him to return (think he already has, in fact).
  17. Well, that's my thing about Calderon. He either shoots the ball, or he looks to pass to a jumpshooter. I don't see him driving the lane and kicking it out very much when I do watch the Raptors, and you guys need a point guard that can do that. Hell, that would get your shooters wide open, at least, lol. Do you guys miss TJ Ford? ^_^
  18. Both of them won't be saying that when the 2010-11 Nets look like this: C - Brook Lopez PF - whoever the hell they want SF - LeBron James SG - Devin Harris PG - John Wall And that's leaving out CDR and Lee. And Tony Battie.
  19. Jones, until McGrady returns to full health and gets Ariza open looks. Trevor shouldn't be trying to create his own shots, or for anyone else. He became an excellent spot-up shooter in Los Angeles, and that's what he needs to be in Houston. As the season progresses, he will continue to wear down and toss bricks. Having an improved Landry helps, but not as much as having a superstar teammate.
  20. I never answered this topic, I see. If we're talking about just our favorite teams, then I'm taking a point guard, no doubt about it, so it's Willie Warren or Sherron Collins (we'll see by season's end). If it's just any team in general, it's Xavier Henry. I would've said this even before he changed his mind about Memphis. I just love his game. I also like Derrick Favors. I think he'll be a good player, but may take a few years to adjust to pro ball.
  21. No, haha. Seems like Toronto wants to play a game of chess out there. "You make a move, then we'll try and make one. Then you, then us." Great recipe for disaster. You can't literally outscore a team without playing defense, unless you have Steve Nash, Amare Stoudemire, Shawn Marion and a plethora of shooters to pass to.
  22. Hahaha...is this somewhat deserving of a topic in the same way the Nets' 0-18 record-breaking start is? If so, Toronto sure didn't disappoint tonight. I'm not really sure if ANYONE on the Raptors wants to play defense, and I still think Toronto is banking on Calderon making way too many plays, which explains their offensive inconsistencies.
