Lack of defensive intensity, no consistency on offense after taking double-digit leads, Hedo isn't involved in the offense as much as he probably should be (in regards to facilitating), Wright is playing too much and taking too many contested jumpers, and the team needs to go to Bargnani more down the stretch.

Awesome to have you guys as affiliates. Yama, where you at? We found another GSW fan!

Haha, didn't know you were over there, BFT. I rarely visit other sites these days, even TLN. And StateOfMind, I'm sure you'll run into one of our writers that will be GLAD to see you're here (hint: he's a Warriors fan). -
AI Parting Ways with Grizzlies
Real Deal replied to Check my Stats's topic in Memphis Grizzlies Team Forum
Can't disagree more, Adrian. You can't bring Iverson off the bench, and I'm not sure what chemistry he has ever killed. Detroit didn't have any to kill, and Memphis is a bad team with or without Iverson. They would've ended up with a top three bottom record anyways, if they had decided to bring Iverson off the bench all year (and if he accepted that). If the bench played very well defensively, it would be an excellent move...but they don't. Iverson needs defensive-minded teammates around him, and even then, Memphis has trouble scoring in the starting five. If it's not Mayo having a bad night, it's Gay, or Randolph, or someone...just hard to find them all showing up all in the same game. With Iverson gone, all the pressure shifts back to Mayo as the leader, despite Gay being the older player. Memphis and OJ both know he's the franchise, and having someone like Iverson in the five takes the load off, gives him open shots, and makes life easier until his game is polished enough to take the Grizz to the next level. That's what rooks and sophomores need. I can't say that Rudy Gay helps him with that, and there's nobody else on the roster you can say that about. I think it was a big mistake signing him if you were bringing him off the bench in the first place, and I even think it's a big mistake letting him go. After seeing what Iverson can do against the Lakers every year, it's hard for me to say he's worthless in the league. The right coach will fix any problems that arise with his leadership, and as long as he's in the five, there shouldn't be any whatsoever. -

I hope you know this doesn't mean I'm a fan of Gilbert Arenas now, just a fan of your community and your administrating. -
You would say that, but that's just the reaction to getting the million. EVERYONE is happy when they get that kind of money. Give it a while. Tiki Barber was happy playing for the Giants and making millions, but as he stated, he would rather retire young and live his life, playing football with his kid(s), than to have to roll around in a wheelchair forever. Money is great, no doubt...but the means by which you have to get it, or the consequences of being a millionaire, you can't experience until it happens to you.

I can give you celebrities who are pretty wealthy, yet killed themselves. I have a friend who has wealthy parents, and she's always depressed about something. I would sure hate to die a lonely old man, no matter how much money I had.

I'm not changing my stance in regards to what he said. He should've just kept his mouth shut. In regards to players eating him alive, I actually saw him in that preseason game against Detroit (the first or second game of his career) and I had already changed my mind, and I've been talking about his talent since. Then again, don't be fooled. Jennings may have Kevin Martin syndrome. As with most players, I'll reserve calling them potential superstars until they prove to be one through a full NBA season. All-Star? He certainly can be, and he looks to be the franchise player in Milwaukee...but K-Mart can be an all-star as well, but his Kings are just ugly.

I'm not going to post the picture this time. I'm ready for this one. Not going to be THAT big of a game for me, but it'll be better than us playing Hofstra, that's for sure.

So if the Nuggets' win over the Lakers means that the West is three deep, what does the Rockets' double-digit win over the Lakers mean? I can't look too deep into this yet. The Lakers are still without Gasol, who is a very important piece to the triangle offense and sometimes the second unit. Our second unit is in the bottom half of the league in overall production and 28th in efficiency, I believe. That wasn't the case last year. Plus, with Kobe's groin injury and Odom nursing a bad back and having to play starter minutes in the process, it was Bynum's team against Denver and Houston. You can't expect anything but losses there. We can venture out East and see the Celtics losing to the Hawks and the Pacers in consecutive games, also. Very similar situation. Does that make the East four deep? Five? And surprisingly, that's a Boston team with everyone playing, at full health.

NBA's most unbreakable record- VOTE!
Real Deal replied to AboveLegit's topic in General NBA Discussion
There have been 12 players that have grabbed 30 or more rebounds in a game (since 1986, anyways). Oakley grabbed 35 in a game in 1988. Jordan's 37 PPG is the second highest to Wilt's 50, right? I gotta go with Wilt's 50 average. I don't think someone can score an average of 50 points per game over an 82 game season. When Wilt did it, there were nine teams, and it was 1962. -
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3pXqHpGTy14&feature=player_embedded Kobe was hurt last Sunday, playing through the groin injury. We need Gasol, now.

I really don't know what else to tell you guys. They aren't going to bait members every night they post. There are rules for a reason. Didn't we all learn this stuff when we signed up here?

2-3 suspensions already, one ban, and now a second. He's not ever coming back, doesn't matter what else anyone wants.
-
Doesn't matter. Good drivers aren't supposed to drive 50 MPH through residential streets, either, and they get ticketed when they do. He just got his final ticket tonight.
-
I don't need to explain why, do I? If Bryant had an excellent game tonight, he would've never created that topic. He didn't have to repeat that Bryant sucked, didn't have to say it the way he did, didn't have to bait in this topic like he did, didn't have to call on someone to post my girlfriend's picture on the forums, didn't have to go post other members' pictures on the forums when he's in an Eagles/Cowboys debate...but he does, and he's toxic to this board...until now.

Is anyone seriously considering these teams contenders?
Real Deal replied to Check my Stats's topic in General NBA Discussion
They don't even need Shaq to play to beat the Raptors in a playoff series, probably could sit him the entire game and would still beat every East team but the Magic and Celtics. -
Nah man, she wouldn't be my girl. I tried. OUUUUUUUUU! Nice to see you back.

Artest throws Ariza's shoe.
Real Deal replied to YugoRocketsFan's topic in Los Angeles Lakers Team Forum
Not so big on what he did. He could've just left it there. Trevor was right next to it. -
Everyone here was right. I shouldn't have unbanned you. You're done baiting, done attacking people with their own pictures, done telling others to register here and mouthing off about the site. Topic closed. If you re-register, it'll be a huge, huge mistake.

He has had a strained groin since the Phoenix game. Did any of you watch the Denver game? If so, you'd know it. They mentioned it. Jackson isn't going to run isolations for Bryant. I don't even know why Kobe was playing in this game to begin with, but even then, he should've never drove in. Ariza gets three rips and he's some bad ass defender now. Smush Parker did the same thing. Congrats on being on Smush's level? Iverson ripped guys all the time, but Philly fans SHOULD know how bad his defense was, also. Sky is falling! Boston just lost two consecutive games also, to the Hawks and the Pacers! Oh wow!
