  1. I'll give you guys the pic. Give me a minute.
  2. Also, again, I'm not hating. I made it very clear that they could win a championship. I also stated that Boston and Orlando could beat that duo. Yeah, Kobe and Shaq won three. They also lost in the playoffs. I'm just not going to sit and call Wade and LeBron as good as the Jordan and Pippen duo. And finally, I have no reason to hate, because LeBron is my second or third favorite player, and I actually like Wade a lot since he developed a jumper and stopped his flopping. Said this many times in the past.
  3. I actually bashed Smits for his inability to defend Shaq, and again, Jermaine won't be on the team if the Heat get LeBron James. I doubt Cleveland will let him walk if in fact he does tell them he's gone, and they sure as hell won't let him walk to another East playoff team.
  4. Yeah, that would probably sway my decision if you were in the West, haha.
  5. That's why you need to trade Dalembert for Blake Griffin.
  6. You guys are 4-2 without him. Is it really a good idea to bring him back in and take shots away from Scola, Ariza and Brooks? I mean, typically, it's a good idea to bring in a star player...but I don't see how much more he can contribute without taking away what Ariza and Battier do on defense, as McGrady rarely plays on the defensive end, and that, in turn, has an effect on offensive production.
  7. Easily the Nets. They have enough money to give two superstars, all while keeping Lopez, Harris, CDR and Williams. Sign a few minimums, bring back the others that are still on contract, and bang...you're a contender in the East. Don't rule out what the Clippers can do, though. They have enough cap room to sign LeBron or Wade, bring in a veteran player with a little cash, and still keep Gordon, Griffin and Kaman.
  8. His mistake. I can't feel sorry for him. But in the same sentence, what does anyone overseas know about NBA talent? I think I heard all of this stuff before about Brandon Jennings and the limited minutes he was playing last year (and the reasons why), yet he's a strong play for rookie of the year right now.
  9. They already put fines on celebrations. Football is about half as fun as it used to be 10 years ago.
  10. I never said you can't contend without a post threat, I said you aren't a sure bet to get into the Finals. Lakers/Magic (Gasol/Howard) Lakers/Celtics (Gasol/Garnett) Spurs/Cavaliers (Duncan/none) Heat/Mavs (Shaq/Dirk) Spurs/Pistons (Duncan/Sheed) Lakers/Pistons (Shaq/Sheed) Spurs/Nets (Duncan/Martin) Lakers/Nets (Shaq/Martin) Lakers/Sixers (Shaq/none) Lakers/Pacers (Shaq/Smits) Of course, I could drop down further and give you Jordan/Pippen, but Wade and LeBron aren't Michael, and neither one of them are the defenders Scottie was, so again, I can't say that a duo of LBJ and D-Wade will be a sure bet for the Finals, when Boston and Orlando can knock them out of the playoffs if both teams are fully healthy.
  11. I can't stand Reid, so I'll smile big for that comment. I caught most of the game, back and forth between that and the Lakers/Hornets. Can someone explain to me why Vick is more of a towel boy than anything else? I never, ever understood the point in signing him to begin with.
  12. Haha, yeah. My Raiders are doing bad because JaMarcus Russell has been playing injured all season long.
  13. C - Gasol PF - Odom SF - LeBron SG - Kobe PG - Fisher I would cry. But as a Cavaliers GM, I would do this. I know people can sit and say that Bynum is injury-prone, but he's really not. Those injuries were both freak accidents, both blamed on our own players. Losing Shaq (which is what will probably happen) means that the Cavaliers will need a center, and they can deal Big Z for someone else, build around a core of Bynum, Artest and Williams. It's better than losing LeBron and getting absolutely nothing in return.
  14. Clyde's best years were in Portland, in my opinion. I think Houston's McGrady was a better player than Houston's Drexler.
  15. She looks like an ugly Sandra Bullock with a Joker face. Just look at it again: http://i368.photobucket.com/albums/oo126/theybf/OCT%2009/ce811e0a.jpg Here's Sandra: http://photos.upi.com/story/t/fa8d07b95766769cb3689a4a00f86c36/Sandra-Bullock-booked-for-Blindside.jpg And here's Sandra with a Joker face: http://www.sportcartoons.co.uk/caricatures/Sandra-Bullock.jpg
  16. Sam Smith thinks it's possible. http://www.nba.com/bulls/news/smith_091102.html I'm leaning towards "not a chance" when it comes to this happening, but for the sake of discussion, would you trade both Andrew Bynum and Ron Artest for LeBron James, if you were Mitch Kupchak? Also, if you were sure that LeBron was leaving Cleveland, would you work a sign and trade for those two players, trading LeBron to the opposing conference?
  17. Well, technically, all teams have a shot at him, because of a sign and trade. Sam Smith wrote an article about LeBron going to the Lakers, and he thinks it'll happen. I definitely don't, but anything is a possibility. I really believe LeBron's best decision will be to go to Los Angeles...but to the Clippers. Just sign with them and team up with Gordon, Griffin, Kaman and Davis. It puts him in a big market city, gives him two young studs to win a championship with, and he's still the sole leader of the team.
  18. Can the dude possibly pick someone uglier? http://i368.photobucket.com/albums/oo126/theybf/OCT%2009/ce811e0a.jpg
  19. Well, I'm starting to think that LeBron will work a sign-and-trade if he wants to leave Cleveland. It gives him the most money, and also, he's giving back to the city. That's just what I'm thinking, anyways.
  20. Dude is playing really good, just recorded his first double-double of his career last night, also, with 10 points, 12 rebounds, and an additional four blocks. He hasn't shot the ball well in two of the games he's played in, but he shot 5-9 last night. But check out these numbers on the glass: vs. NOH - 4 OFF, 8 DEF, 12 REB in 30 MIN vs. MEM - 5 OFF, 8 DEF, 13 REB in 30 MIN He also had four blocks in both of those games, seven blocks against Denver in the preseason. http://2.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_kstnxhjI7t1qzb7vjo1_500.jpg
  21. I'll get some heat from this (no pun intended), but a Wade/LeBron duo would not be an automatic championship. They'd definitely contend, they would probably get to the ECF or Finals, but neither is a post threat, and I don't consider Jermaine O'Neal one, either (and more than likely, Jermaine would be dealt). Now...LeBron and Howard? Most definitely. LeBron and Kobe, yes, because Bryant's post game is nothing short of amazing. If you want a team that is almost certainly going to win it all, you want domination in the post and on the perimeter. Two perimeter-oriented players, especially Wade and LeBron, can get the job done, but they wouldn't be the hands-down favorites.
  22. The Hornets were crushed by the Lakers, and CP3 had a bad game. Against Baron and a Clippers team that has no defense outside of Eric Gordon, I'd assume he'll do much better attacking the rim...but the Clippers seem to be playing decent near-playoff basketball at this time. With the Hornets looking like a team that needs blown completely out of the water and rebuilt, it's hard to predict a winner here. No flying to another city, but still in STAPLES, angry by the huge loss to the Lakers...the Hornets probably come out on top here, but someone has to stop Gordon and Kaman.
  23. ...and you would think Golden State destroys the Wolves, but who knows. Tonight may be another terrible shooting night for Maggette (3-12, maybe?) and one shouldn't be surprised if Don Nelson decides to play Stephon Curry at center, hahaha.
