  1. Congrats to all of the Yankees' real fans, doesn't matter what city you're from as long as you never jumped ship because of their previous championships. Slaven, if your birthplace determines who you root for in sports, you're a fool for not being able to think for yourself and come to a conclusion on your own. A damn shame. And as you continue to act like some rebel and bait anyone rooting for the Yankees (as their favorite team or just for the hell of it in the WS), you take steps closer and closer to joining the ex-member in your sig that you continue to injure, as he will never have a chance at coming back when all of you "supporting him" are acting the way he did when he was banned.
  2. LOL. It's Fisher. You really can't be that surprised. Maybe it's because I've watched him forever now. There are games where Fisher will pass the ball to Bryant, cut and stand in the corner and wait for his open three, and THAT'S IT. Literally, nothing else on the offensive end, hahaha.
  3. Lee with another double-double, and Rush didn't do too bad, although he didn't shoot good from the floor. With injuries, the Pacers still pull off a win in New York.
  4. LOL Sean, you aren't very fond of Calderon, are you? Detroit lost the game because they just couldn't handle the Toronto frontcourt, didn't matter if they played like true bigs or hybrid power forwards. And from the parts I saw of the game, Calderon was a problem. I'm not sure if I want Jose shooting eight or more times a game, let alone the 11-12 shots he took.
  5. LMAO...yeah, there were bad calls, for sure. I was pretty pissed off at Rondo holding Flynn down. That was as clear as day...but the refs calling a jump between Brewer and Garnett? THAT was a terrible, terrible call.
  6. Haha, the payroll whining was never as evident as it is now...when everyone was saying that money CAN'T buy championships, laughing about it and saying they would never have the talent to get it done...well, things sure do change ever so quickly. Great run, Yankees and their fans. Congrats on the championship.
  7. Thanks Kobe and Artest, especially Kobe. Bynum was good on offense, but his defense was lackluster, and Odom was an idiot most of the game. Landry just toyed with him. With Yao being out all year long, Houston can really develop their forwards as post players. This might be a good thing for next season, at least making one of them valuable, or making Yao expendable. Good game by Houston, average game by the Lakers. They need defensive consistency in the frontcourt, Gasol or no Gasol, and they are still having trouble defending the pick and roll (although most NBA teams do).
  8. Hey, we have Odumb tonight! Solid defense by Ron again. Bynum has to play defense, for once. Odom sucks. Kobe is Kobe. We need more from Fisher, and Walton should've even play.
  9. The Celtics were better than the Hawks two years ago. Why did it take seven games to beat them in the first round? It just happens.
  10. Oh God, I just realized that Odom has to defend Scola. 30 point game by Luis. I wonder how many Brooks will score against Fisher. This will be the Kobe, Bynum and Ron show if the Lakers want it. Hopefully, Shannon Brown gets some playing time, because he's going to have to go out there and play defense.
  11. The Pistons are coming off of that big, big win against the Magic last night. It makes me wonder how well they will do against an improved Raptors team. Toronto should win, but as Toronto fans have stated constantly now, the Raptors are pretty good at blowing leads. Bargnani and Bosh need to come out attacking the Pistons' bigs, and getting shooters involved late in the game to counter all of Detroit's twos with three pointers.
  12. Nothing is never easy at Arco Arena. The Kings are so hot and cold, though, that they can take a double-digit lead and lose it within a matter of two minutes, then stick with you for the duration of the game until they fold in the last 60 seconds. I wouldn't be surprised to see them hang in there.
  13. Kobe was on him half the time, and was defending him on that three-point attempt that airballed at the end of the fourth. I'm just not sure why he took that shot, though.
  14. Rondo is not the best passer in the league. Not a chance. Anyways... http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_ylt=AiPgraywPrsXpamAGPnnMGi8vLYF?slug=aw-paulhornets110309&prov=yhoo&type=lgns Seriously? Rajon Rondo THINKS that Chris Paul wishes he could be him? CP3 is going to crush Rondo their next game. And why would he even mouth off that game, anyways? Paul embarrassed him. Chris Paul 22 PTS on 9-13 FG (69.2%), 2-3 3PT, 3 REB, 8 AST, 2 STL, 2 TO Rajon Rondo 6 PTS on 3-7 FG (42.9%), 0-0 3PT, 3 REB, 10 AST, 3 STL, 4 TO What an idiot. CP3 is averaging a total of 18.7 PPG on 48.9% FG against Rajon Rondo, 8.6 APG and 2.4 SPG. Sure looks to me like Rondo doesn't do jack [expletive] stopping him.
  15. Despite not having much hope here, I'm still rooting for the Nets. They need a win, and this would boost team morale through the roof.
  16. They also didn't have Hedo or Lee. But on a serious note, Shard and Pietrus hardly make up for a Rip and Prince MIA. The Magic should've locked this one up. Detroit was on their way to a 30-point loss after finding out Rip and Prince were both going to miss the game. Stuckey shot 7-20, Villanueva at 3-11. Basically, it was Ben Gordon and Will Bynum taking over and defeating Howard, Nelson and Carter (three all-stars). Orlando was outrebounded (but not by a significant amount) and had six more turnovers. The difference, though, would be Detroit getting to the rim, while Orlando settled for threes. The Pistons attempted six total threes, 38 free throws. The Magic attempted 35 threes, 16 free throws. You won't win like that.
  17. We won the trade because we needed a post scorer that could pass the ball to win our title. We can have all the Odoms and Bynums in the world, but Gasol is the second all-star, that missing piece, that assisted Bryant and Phil in beating an overly-talented Orlando Magic team in the Finals. Marc has always played good outside of the league, he's just been in his brother's shadow for so long, and now he's casting his own. Memphis got a good player in Marc, plus the money. It worked for them as well.
  18. Yeah, I didn't understand the three by Durant. It was too far out, and Bryant was giving him room to come up and shoot a 23-footer. Even then, you're tied up. Drive the ball and get an easier shot. This is the fourth game of the season for LA, and Ron has played amazing defense once again. I can't say it beats what he did to Joe Johnson after that huge, huge first quarter Joe had, but Ron is always getting his hand inside lanes and using his body to force players away from the rim and into contested shots.
  19. Washington couldn't buy an open shot if their lives depended on it in that second half. This game was a mess. It wasn't that Cleveland won or Washington lost, it was more like both teams flipped a quarter and said, "Alright, let's just come out in the second half and look like high school ballers." Had this been a playoff game, I'm sure the results would be the same as far as the winner goes, but the means would be different: more defense, more continuity on offense, and a better overall game plan.
  20. Dahntay Jones just decided to show his old team up. Too bad it was in a losing effort.
  21. Oct. 27th - 294 Oct. 28th - 517 Oct. 29th - 436 Oct. 30th - 357 Oct. 31st - 339 Nov. 1st - 477 Nov. 2nd - 439 Are you going to waste my time and ask for a screenshot, since I always lie about everything? Again, do I really need to go back into the database and show you the four member ID's that have repped you consistently throughout the forums? You have three of your 95 reps from two other ID's, and shockingly, one was mine. What else?
  22. Hey Justin, you wanna close this up after tomorrow? Once the questions are answered, you can start up the next one immediately (just check the sign up list). I'll be gone for a while. Thanks.
  23. Out of everyone with 5 or more rep points, you have the least amount of members repping you. All of your reps come from the same 3-4 people, according to the database. Congrats. If most people like this message board, they sure aren't showing it. Activity is down, morale is down, people are leaving, and you're boasting about your rep.
  24. Mike (Epidemik) will be moving our Gameday topics from now on. If you aren't aware, all topics will be moved into the home team's forum, and we would like it if the topics had activity in them before they were moved, even one post, because otherwise, it falls to the back of the team forum and becomes invisible on the first page of topics. Thanks for the help, Mike.
  25. I'll refrain from quoting you all over this board in hopes that people will actually stop being so blind to it. Otherwise, I'd go ahead and make a scene like I did with Alex's posts about the referees, only much worse. In fact, hell, I don't care anymore. Do what you want. I'll have someone move those Gameday threads soon, and you guys can run your own ship here and see how long our members stick around with you saying what you want to them, since it's not a problem at all (as you obviously oversee everything on this board).
