Today, if you'd like (although you still have one more day to get questions in).

http://hailmaryjane.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/kobe-2.jpg "White girls are great, but nothing beats raping everyone else's favorite teams and players on the basketball court for the last decade, and pissing off their fans in the process because, quite frankly, their teams are usually irrelevant." But yeah, I figured we'd be past this after almost five years of being up, but I guess not. It's fail-proof when staining our basketball discussion with ignorance, putting our name right back into the same category as all other basketball-related message boards. Thread closed.

Wow, you gotta watch this one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qM1f5xrOfGU That's something I couldn't even pull off. :o

Well, I'm not sure how many people on OTR know about the Illuminati. This isn't necessarily a good thing, though, because you can definitely come up with a lot of conspiracies. There have been writers that have claimed that Obama and Bush are both part of the Illuminati (a modern-day version), and if people start believing that, especially knowing that an NWO has even the slightest possibility of being created and executed, that's going to hurt our reputation as a country, and go back on us for the last 8-9 years. But, yeah, I did a two-week long study about the Illuminati in college. Basically, this ties in with it rather well...and some only believe the Illuminati was just a group of guys that lasted a duration of time, but there's solid evidence stating that it could've lasted much longer, even around today. About the formation of an NWO, it's actually a good thing the US is pushing for it. Why? Because if it's going to happen, we need to be the country sitting in the middle, reaping the benefits early. Otherwise, if we don't act, we could end up turning ourselves into a third-world country. I'm not sure how this will boil over with European countries, though. These unstable economies, including ours, will find a way to feed off of them to regain that stability...which will help them in the long run, but it won't be a walk in the part for a couple of years.

I wouldn't go THAT far and say a championship, but they would have been a 50-win team...something the Wizards have never reached with Arenas.

Lee and Nate both agree to 1 year contracts
Real Deal replied to fish7718's topic in New York Knicks Team Forum
I don't understand why Lee did this. He must not think he'll be back in New York next season, because if the Knicks grab someone like Bosh in free agency, they won't be able to afford Lee. He'll definitely want the same amount of money, or more. -
The next time you post someone's picture attacking THEM, you are banned from ever posting here again, Matt. Believe it. It's one thing to post a picture making fun of an athlete (Shaq), but you will NEVER post another picture making fun of a member, ever again. And you have my word on that, everyone. It's so obvious how immature and disrespectful you really are. It's embarrassing, to say the very least. Truthfully, I'll be siding with Yama in this every single time, and there's absolutely no chance he leaves us because of you. Never. You don't even deserve my replies. This is the second or third time you've done it. That's your way of debating your point, when all this topic was about was who dislikes an NFL player, and you take it up the ass because of your love for Donovan McNabb, then you decide to go that extra step to attack the member, renaming the picture in the URL and adding text to it as well. You're going to lose in the end. I'd change if I were you. Topic is closed.
-
LMAO. Don't get mad nobody likes your Donovan. You forgot to reply to what Paul and Justin said, by the way. But you wouldn't, because they like the Eagles, and they just shut you up. Haha, I don't care. I don't want either of them. I'd take both Mannings, Brees, Brady, Ryan, Rodgers, Rivers, Cutler, Big Ben, Romo, Palmer, Favre, Flacco, probably a couple of others before I take McNabb.
-
I'm only doing what you do a lot of in topics. But I'll go ahead and answer you now. Kobe is the best player in the league. Does he come out and say it? Nope. Does he use racial remarks because he's pissed that people don't think he is? Nope. Does he act like a goon in interviews and in his commercials, thinking everyone likes him? Nope. It's based on McNabb never winning it all...lol. Sorry for not making that crystal clear, so I'll say it again: it's based on McNabb not winning it all. Actually, you're kinda wrong. It was just Jammin, Erin (who wasn't a Suns fan) and I believe Slaven was as well. I didn't ban the entire Suns fanbase, because I can't do it based on their team rep. It's individual banning masks. So...nice try. I gave them to you already. So did Paul. Justin agrees. Both like the Eagles. You should put down your bat now...it'll all be fine.
-
Actually, it's sarcasm towards him, because for every topic I ever bring an example in that has NOTHING to do with the ONE player we discuss, he always points fingers that I'm going off-topic with my examples. Now he's using Kobe Bryant? I do like the comparison to Etan Thomas, though. That's pretty good.
-
Haha, thanks guys.

Next thing, you'll be comparing McNabb to some other NBA star, completely off-topic to this discussion. Ah, I was right! I made it clear that the fans don't help in liking McNabb. Read that over five times so you'll realize it, and possibly change it (although that's just a stupid assumption that you will, on my part, so my apologies). ...lol. Yeah, that really stings. My Raiders suck. I can say it. Maybe it's you who doesn't watch enough football to know that your Eagles will always get toppled before they reach the top of the mountain. Ah, another NBA reference. That has a lot to do with you peeking into their game topics when they lose, and FINALLY contributing. But, yeah, that happens less than 20 times a year. Ah, right. That makes sense for all of our Suns fans, then, especially when we had a ton of them. Lakers/Suns playoffs...who was arguing? Ah, it was you and a bunch of other guys who regularly dropped into Lakers topics to argue. JL, andreusito, Jammin...it was those Suns fans who were miles ahead of some of you in maturity level that never fell into that pit. But oh yeah, you would know better than anyone else here, since you're usually in the mix 95% of the time. We aren't arguing that, you are. I simply said that I don't like McNabb. I never said that he was one of the most disliked, I said that the Philly fans are. Get it straight before you start slinging your mud once again. You're arguing with the wrong person. Go find someone who likes a rival team and someone who will back off after being pushed in the corner by about 4-5 of you, like you usually do.
-
Well, hmm...I don't mind Westbrook. Didn't mind TO until he became a big mouth. I liked Randall Cunningham. I liked Reggie White. Now, if I'm not mistaken, I think all of those guys have had on Philly green before. Maybe you would confirm that? And I don't constantly say things about Philly fans until this topic, and another where all of you were involved in more baiting, back and forth. Just a big spoonful of your own medicine, though. You guys like to go after Cowboys fans, Giants fans, Pats fans, had a huge argument a couple years back on OTR about bandwagoning Manning and the Colts (or Brady and the Pats, forgot which it was). You guys sure like to dish it out, but you have trouble taking it in. If I were to do this all season long, I'm pretty sure you guys would all stop talking football and take a hike, especially when your team won't be winning it all, and you'll have nothing on me at the end of the season (sorry). But don't worry, it's only me showing you how ridiculous it could get, if I let most of our football fans sling mud like some of you Philly fans here on OTR. Counting on my fingers, you guys would shut your mouths quickly, because there are a handful who would just feed on it for 16+ games, more of them than there are of you guys, three times or more.
-
Favre did what Michael Jordan did, so if I hate Favre, I might as well hate MJ. And once again, you can trust me when I tell you that your sports team is not that important to me. If Philly fans cause me to hate their athletes, why do I like Iguodala? You lose.
-
No Boston team would've beaten the 90's Bulls...and the late 80's teams you're talking about include Bird's Celtics (in his prime), Magic's Lakers (in his prime), the Detroit Bad Boys, and some extremely talented teams. I'd rather play eight teams to win a title.
-
I have mixed emotions about Favre. I used to like him a lot. Then again, he's a media hog. I don't know.
-
Well, the turn-off was when I found the ability to score 15 points in the first quarter with Derek Fisher, on five threes, 5-6 from downtown, three of them contested heavily. I'll never rent it, either. Waste of my time.

It's funny that McNabb has his children supporting him, when any other player (or, well, anyone who doesn't play for the Eagles) would be criticized without hesitation, and most of the time, without rebuttal. I don't like him. He's annoying. I don't like what he has said in the past, he has hinted that he thinks he's the best QB in the league, he has pulled the race card, he taunted the Giants, and I'm glad to see him fail every season he's in the NFL, just as he will this year, and the next, and the next (if he even lasts that long). I could care less if it gets a rise out of you Eagles fans. You guys aren't that important to me, as a fanbase. This is a basketball site, and if I wanted to get a rise out of any one fanbase, it would be basketball-related, definitely not a team that doesn't even exist to me. It's still a perfect example of why people think you guys are annoying, just as I do your QB. Ever read up on it? Nobody likes Eagles fans. Nobody but Eagles fans. Why? Well, I don't know...log off and read the forums as a guest, and maybe you'll see why every football-related argument always, always involves one of you. Get over it already. A lot of people don't like you guys. I can't stand your team or any of its players, especially your coach. That part has a LOT to do with the fans...but me hating McNabb also has a lot to do with him. I don't have flawed logic. I already told you I don't like Cutler, and that should be the general consensus at this time, anyways. I don't like Vick, either, but hey...look at what team he's playing for. But when I say I don't like McNabb, oh [expletive], I have some explaining to do! If your team was that important, I'd put up a banner...but to be honest, at this time, I would rather put up a Kansas City Chiefs banner, as a Raiders fan...and that's probably nobody else's fault but your own.

Phil Jackson would have twenty rings if he only had to play 8-10 teams a season.

Rockets to unveal alternate jersey tommorow (9/23)
Real Deal replied to YugoRocketsFan's topic in Houston Rockets Team Forum
Yuck. If they were going to do something like that, they should've just taken the font from the old logo. Man, you never try to combine old and new when it comes to basketball jerseys. It's very difficult to pull off. -
The entire community better, if they want OTR to stay up. The more people driven away, the less likely Aaron and I will post or do anything for OTR. Then, I guess, OTR will truly be yours...with no activity, no features, probably no host.
-
We have had it for the last two seasons, actually. They get powers to pin/unpin, edit topic titles, and a few other things. No powers to suspend or anything of that manner.
-
Can't have them without basketball discussion. If I go back to them, it'll be soon after the season starts.
-
Not without losing a lot of the picture quality.
