Had to move them again. How many active moderators do we have? Two?

Seattle Kings? Las Vegas Kings? Kansas City Kings? Wouldn't be surprised. It was either the Kings or the Grizzlies.

Some need to discuss the tattoo or just get out. Stop being ignorant.

No harm when McNabb pulled out the race card a couple of times, I guess. That was his way of asking for more attention as the best QB in the league, but you either don't remember it, or didn't understand it. [Diesel]What does Kobe Bryant have to do with this NFL topic?[/Diesel] But, since you asked, Kobe can say what he wants. He's been the best player in the NBA for years. McNabb has never been the best QB in the NFL, and never will be. And he's annoying. Dry those eyes of yours and stop getting so upset at someone not liking your beloved team or players on that team. This is the type of stuff that makes me pump my fist when teams like the Saints run over the Eagles, just like I said they would.

Again, it's learning the game. There are exceptionally smart players who are in wheelchairs. I've been to one game of wheelchair basketball in Tulsa, and you'd be surprised at how they manage to set screens (and get around them) and how they can shoot the ball sitting down (just as Yao has been doing with his busted foot, I guess).

I clearly stated that if you're going to act like you're the best QB in the league, you might wanna win something. I never said that McNabb's ranking as a QB changes because he hasn't won the big game. Personally, I never saw him as the best anyways, so that's irrelevant. And yes, you guys used to argue that McNabb was the best in the league a few years back. That's when I decided to stop viewing the football forums we had, when I had them spread out in divisions. Not a surprise, really.

My apologies for dissing your uncle. I didn't realize you and Donovan McNabb were so close.
-
Well, uh, I never said I hated him because of his postseason record. Good way to completely avoid my reasoning, though. But yeah, again, I knew this would happen, since some of you Eagles fans live in the perfect city (or near it), with the perfect fans, and the perfect sports teams, that contain the perfect athletes.

Cutler is the default answer. Almost everyone is on the hate wagon for him right now. Romo more annoying than McNabb? I wouldn't say so. After the comments McNabb made about black QB's, the phone incident, and then that small comment about Vick (it was him simply notifying the public he was still the better QB, as if we didn't know that), he's just more annoying. And winning anytime before the SB means nothing if you don't finish it off with a championship. If my Raiders got to the big game every season for ten consecutive years, and never won, I'd be pissed and wouldn't have much room to brag. First place loser is not an award, and McNabb has had plenty of talent around him to win it all, yet he hasn't. So for someone who used to think he was the best QB in the league (and he probably still does), he should probably sit back and realize he needs much, much more help than ever before, and he's fading out as the Matt Ryans and the Tom Bradys are turning him into a memory.

Well, you said you struggle to find how anyone can consider him annoying, so you obviously disagree with me. I get to keep my arm.

Rockets to unveal alternate jersey tommorow (9/23)
Real Deal replied to YugoRocketsFan's topic in Houston Rockets Team Forum
It would be sick if they just went back to their old logo, or even the 1996 logo. -
LOL, I'm glad I won the bet, or else I would be losing my left arm when I told my girlfriend I'd bet at least two Eagles fans would come in and defend McNabb. And no, I'm serious. I really said that five seconds after I posted it. I started thinking he was annoying after he pulled the race card a couple of times, talking about how black QB's face more scrutiny in the league, and when he also ran to the sidelines and answered the Giants' bench phone. If you're going to act like a bad ass, you should probably win like one when it counts the most.

The WNBA isn't as exciting as the NBA, but you still learn from the game, no matter who's playing. That's the main reason I watch the NBA, actually, to learn from it. Others watch it just for the excitement.

James White will never have a jumper. He had worked pretty hard on getting one while in college, had a shooting coach at Cincy, and it didn't happen. On the plus side, he's super athletic and could play some defense, if guys like Chris Andersen would assist him in his timing, blocking shots weak-side.

JaMarcus Russell and Donovan McNabb. Russell is a detriment to our roster, and McNabb is just annoying. I wish both would retire already.

Karl: A.I. Needs To Put Ego Aside

Karl must be watching Memphis scrimmages, seeing as how he knows Conley beat out Iverson for the starting role on the team. -
Played one quarter of it, deleted it off my PS3. This game sucks almost as bad as it did last year. Pretty disappointing, since I used to LOVE NBA Live.

I'm only worried about Kobe posting up and scoring that easily. He got him 15 feet away, and ended up right under the basket. I'm not sure if that's just because of the bad defense being played or what...but if any guard can post up like that, and end up directly under the rim that quickly, that's going to suck. It's not like he was posting up Sun Yue.

Artest: My fault if Lakers titleless in '10
Real Deal replied to magicbalala245's topic in Los Angeles Lakers Team Forum
Wafer sucked, dude. His defense was complete trash. He produced stats on offense for 15 games? Good for him. Smush averaged 11-12 PPG or so. He still sucked. When McGrady went down, Ron WAS trying to run the offense. He became the primary option because of that. That's his fault, and I realize it. That's why you called him a chucker. Every coach Ron has had acts as if they are scared to death of him. When the playoffs come around, they give him the green light to shoot the ball. Jermaine O'Neal and the 61-win Pacers (or 62, can't remember) were coached by Rick Carlisle, and you can ask any Pacers fan how intimidated Rick was of Artest, and they will confirm what I said above. If you think Phil Jackson will do that, you're wrong. Like Odom, Bynum, Farmar, Vujacic and others, Artest will see less time on the court if he starts screwing up. We have the players to make up for that, and Artest won't rebel, especially after seeing Rodman, Shaq, Kobe and even a young Pippen straighten up when Phil walks into the room.
