  1. He started almost every game he played in back in 2008, and he was looking like a mix between Oliver Miller and Tractor Traylor back then, so I don't see why Newsday thinks this is something to write about, haha.
  2. That does make sense, but even then, you don't hold the ball like you're crushing someone's skull right before you shoot, either. I'd understand if someone's hand was on top of it, and you were pulling it up, but the ball doesn't weight 80 pounds. He did get ripped over the summer, that's pretty obvious to me. I won't say it's necessarily steroids though, as others mentioned he would put on some weight, but that doesn't mean it wasn't some illegal PED, probably the same thing LeBron takes every three hours of his life.
  3. Haha, who's going to have the more unique welcome image: bigdog or Warren2ThaG? But yeah, hey, I know you.
  4. Yeah, that's a 10-day suspension. Every post you make has nothing to do with the topics at hand anymore, and the last few have been baiting Lakers fans about Kobe. So it's either excessive baiting, or post-padding. Both are against the rules. That's also your third warning in the warning system, so it's a suspension...and because it's your third or fourth suspension, you should actually be banned. When you come back, I hope for your sake you'll fix it. The next time, I won't have the good in me to keep you here, and I honestly promise you that.
  5. It still wouldn't work off the bench, because we would have to completely ditch the triangle offense, which is what gets us in trouble enough when Farmar and Vujacic come out launching bombs with no regard to their teammates.
  6. Haha, you should be excited for this. The next two seasons will determine what happens to Rubio, so you want all the talent you can get. And Sessions can play the two-guard position, guys. I'm just not sure if he will. It would be nice for him to, though, with Ellington backing him up.
  7. Iverson is still a 23-24 PPG player, possibly better in the right offense. But there's no chance of this happening. Our point guard must know how to hit long jumpers, play some sort of physical defense (even if it's average), and be a willing passer, in the triangle offense. Even if we had the money, Iverson doesn't belong in Los Angeles, not for the Lakers, at least.

  9. Raptors DO have Turkoglu. I was going to stick Aldridge over Oden, but I'm giving Greg one more chance. He's not the better player, but he's still the bigger name. Gotta stick a white guy on the Pacers banner, or else I'd disappoint Larry Bird. And Troy Murphy is a bit too ugly for it.
  10. Don't look forward to next season then. :o I feel you on that, though. When the Lakers won 34 games back in 2005, I was pumped up for the offseason.
  11. Just another excellent reason to believe that Rubio will be dealt. Plan B in effect starting now.
  12. Team banners are FINALLY FINISHED (it's 7:20 AM, this will surely be the death of me)! Lakers have six players, Celtics five, Magic and Spurs four, everyone else three. Lakers and Celtics are current and former champs, and they have too many players to NOT leave off the banner. Hawks: Johnson, Smith, Horford Celtics: Garnett, Pierce, Allen, Rondo, Wallace Bobcats: Wallace, Diaw, Felton Bulls: Rose, Deng, Hinrich Cavaliers: LeBron, Shaq, Williams Mavericks: Nowitzki, Kidd, Terry Nuggets: Anthony, Billups, Smith Pistons: Gordon, Hamilton, Prince Warriors: Jackson, Ellis, Biedrins Rockets: Scola, Battier, Ariza (since Yao and McGrady won't be playing) Pacers: Granger, Ford, Hansbrough Clippers: Griffin, Gordon, Davis Lakers: Kobe, Gasol, Artest, Bynum, Odom, Fisher Grizzlies: Mayo, Gay, Randolph Heat: Wade, Beasley, O'Neal Bucks: Redd, Bogut, Jennings Wolves: Jefferson, Love, Flynn Nets: Harris, Lopez, and a secret (no, not Drazen Petrovic) Hornets: Paul, West, Okafor Knicks: Chandler, Robinson, Hill Thunder: Durant, Westbrook, Green Magic: Howard, Carter, Lewis, Nelson Sixers: Iguodala, Brand, Young Suns: Nash, Stoudemire, Hill Blazers: Roy, Miller, Oden Kings: Martin, Hawes, Evans Spurs: Duncan, Parker, Ginobili, Jefferson Raptors: Bosh, Bargnani, Turkoglu Jazz: Williams, Boozer, Millsap Wizards: Arenas, Butler, Jamison Next on the menu: team forum colors. Then the banners go up, team forums go up, and we're all set for the 2009-10 season. Thanks for being patient, guys.
  13. Cole will probably drop, but that's because Xavier Henry is probably going to take over the Jayhawks. Then again, Aldrich is a valuable big. Not like Collison was, but I think Collison would've been a much better player if not for his double-shoulder surgery. But guys, don't sleep on Ed Davis. Now that Tyler is history, Davis could make a huge impact for UNC.
  14. Browser? Version? Is anyone else getting this?
  15. Curry, but I really want to see what Wright does, depending on how many minutes he actually gets this season.
  16. It's OTR Basketball, not NBA Basketball.
  17. Easily DeRozan. It's probably more out of curiosity, though. I love watching rookies play, so it should be of no surprise that I'd pick him. Then again, I'm wanting to see how Hedo plays with a more-defined offensive player in Chris Bosh (more defined than Dwight Howard). Turkoglu really didn't sit on anyone's radar until he showed his face in Orlando, so I'm wondering if he'll shoot a higher percentage in Toronto as he possibly gets more touches, or if he slips off the borderline all-star sheet and becomes a one-dimensional spot-up shooter.
  18. Well, even while Jordan was retired (or when he came back to lose in the playoffs in 1995), how come the Jazz didn't get to the Finals out West? They would've played the Magic and the Sonics...and with Stockton and Malone, two of the best players at their positions, they would've had two consecutive rings. Crazy enough, they lost both times to the Houston Rockets, eventual champs, who really only had Hakeem Olajuwon. Utah even had a 60-win season when they lost in the first round to a 47-win Houston team, who won their second title that year (they did have Clyde, but still...). Maybe Hakeem was just too good.

  20. If you guys can keep it active, that would be nice. I had one a long time ago, but it just didn't get enough posts.
  21. Losing Villanueva, dealing Jefferson and actually getting (or retaining) nothing in return, possibly letting Sessions go...all of this just for the 2010 free agent class? Or is it possible that the team is losing money, big time, and we're about to see a Bucks team preparing for a move to Seattle, Kansas City, or possibly somewhere in Canada? Honestly...what big 2010 free agent would go play for the Bucks right now?
