I believe we are already affiliates. I just need to add you to the list again (since we had to restart everything). What do you need from me?

Yep, skin error problems. I'll get to it soon.

The today's active content search is only within the last 24 hours, so all you guys have to do is be patient, and those games will eventually be removed. Why aren't you guys using the "View New Content" search now? It's back to the way it was from the 2.3.6 version of IPB.

Great points, Sean. I'm just not sure about the team tanking, though...as in, the players accepting that. But as I mentioned, and you elaborated on, the free agent market will be filled with some talented bigs. What happens if Amare or Bosh go to Oklahoma City? C - Amare PF - Green SF - Durant SG - Harden PG - Westbrook That's pretty damn scary, especially watching Durant's game improve significantly over just a year's time. I gotta admit, if the Lakers don't win it all in 2010-11, I'd be rooting for the Thunder to take it (if they got that far). Finally having a local team to root for in 78 of their games...it's pretty nice. Only problem is, I would think the playoffs pan out like this, for this season: WEST 1) Lakers 2) Spurs 3) Nuggets 4) Mavericks 5) Suns 6) Hornets 7) Jazz 8) Thunder EAST 1) Cavaliers 2) Magic 3) Celtics 4) Hawks 5) Raptors 6) Heat 7) Bulls 8) Bobcats It would absolutely suck for me, since I would have to root against the Thunder. So, yep...haha, maybe they'll get Bosh in 2010, and have a higher seed after that.

I'm going to select Westbrook because the Thunder needed a point guard, and they may have an easier time acquiring a power forward more than a legit point, especially when guys like Bosh, Amare and Boozer will be free agents soon, and OKC will have a lot of money to offer due to rookie contracts still being in effect.

Could LeBron know Magic were on steroids?
Real Deal replied to Multi-Billionaire's topic in Cleveland Cavaliers Team Forum
Well, as Mason said, he avoided Boston the same way two seasons ago. Did he wear his "check my $tats" shirt because his non-steroid stats are more legit than Shard's steroid-influenced stats? James is going through a phase where his head is growing from him living up to the hype, and it's unhealthy for his fanbase. I used to say he was my second favorite player, and I still love his game and the improvements, but I really can't say I like him as a person anymore. LeBron didn't shake hands with Boston OR Orlando because he was bitter about the defeat. It's really that simple. -
Who would you want guarding Kobe for the last shot?

I'm talking Kobe versus LeBron. And I know he has had game-winning travels. I'm talking about jumpshots. -

Pierce took his steroids after the fake leg injury, which was after Boston eliminated Cleveland. But I'm guessing we're talking about Perkins, Powe and Brown here. -
Who would you want guarding Kobe for the last shot?
Real Deal replied to magicbalala245's topic in General NBA Discussion
He hit two game-winning shots last year, and I don't remember him hitting any others before that. I believe the Golden State game-winning jumper was the first shot he ever hit to win a game, if I'm not mistaken. So two GW shots makes you the most clutch player in the league? As far as defensive clutch factor goes, I don't see that, either. I actually don't see LeBron as an elite defensive player like most Cavaliers fans do, but that's just me, I guess. Kobe sure ate his lunch in two games last year, despite a major injury in one, and flu in the other. -
Man, I'm really starting to feel bad for him. But hey, whatever it takes to keep Wade in Miami.

He probably didn't shake hands with them because his steroid-stricken handshake would break Rafer's hand into pieces. Jokes aside, no. -

Haha, pretty crazy, huh? It bothers a lot of people. -
Powe Preferred Staying In Boston
Real Deal replied to The Goods's topic in Boston Celtics Team Forum
I don't see why the Celtics pushed him away. Sheed can play center. If someone goes down with another injury, Powe will be missed, big time. -
Tinsley is done. The Heat would be better off pursuing Allen Iverson, as long as he defers to Wade. Long shot there, probably...but at least Iverson can play basketball.

Source: Knicks Will Get Sessions
Real Deal replied to The Goods's topic in New York Knicks Team Forum
Well, if the Knicks end up with Sessions (meaning the Clippers fall out of the race), it makes me wonder what's going to happen with Nate and Duhon. I'm also not sold on Sessions being an excellent starting point guard, and I don't see why the Clippers are after him, if they intend on keeping Davis. Maybe both teams see something I don't. -
If the Nets really wanted to reward those fans, they'd offer free authentic jerseys. Reversible jerseys are garbage, anyways.

Arenas looking good so far
Real Deal replied to magicbalala245's topic in Washington Wizards Team Forum
We'll see. I don't think he'll be his normal self. It's not that he's getting old, because right now, he's pretty much in his prime years...but if the injury wasn't so serious, we would've been assured of it sooner than this summer. -
How would you react...
Real Deal replied to billt chamberlain's topic in Washington Wizards Team Forum
If I were to run into any of them, I'd definitely would take a picture with them and get an autograph. Just awesome to run into players you only wish you could play like, haha. But I'd also ask Caron how he felt when he was traded from the Lakers, seeing how him and Bryant were good friends. -

If you don't have anything to contribute to the topic, don't post. It's that simple. Don't make it tougher on me to expand our community of posters. I thought I would be getting help in doing so, but I guess not. Back on topic, now. -
I would be worried about James Harden becoming a good player. If he does, you have a very good player in Durant, three good players in Westbrook, Harden and Green, and if there's a way to add a big man in free agency next offseason (ex. Bosh), man...the Thunder will be NBA champs, eventually, and that's assuming everyone stays with the team (and with Bird Rights, and Clay Bennett's wallet, I don't see why not).

Who would you want guarding Kobe for the last shot?
Real Deal replied to magicbalala245's topic in General NBA Discussion
If you want to test it out, just put your hand right beside your ear, really close. See how abnormal that feels? You can sense when something is close to your ears, especially when it's moving close and then away. Makes you want to tilt your head away from it. -
It'll just scan your system and find the problem (hopefully). Don't worry, I wouldn't send you anything bad.

LOL. He'd put Kobe at the line for a three-point play. -
Brezec Signs With Philadelphia
Real Deal replied to The Goods's topic in Philadelphia 76ers Team Forum
Hmm...the eight-year veteran's minimum? Who wrote that? There's only one veteran's minimum, and it's for players 10+ years in the NBA. It should be "eight-year minimum." Sorry for being picky. Either way...Dalembert, look out! -
How would the Suns do without Amare?
Real Deal replied to Sun Tzu's topic in Phoenix Suns Team Forum
Wait, 47 wins with just Nash, Richardson and Hill? I don't know about that. Nash needs a screen and roll player to allow him to take his open jumpers, drive to the rim, or feed his primary option (and that would be Amare). If there's no threat of the pick and roll, Nash will need a shooting threat...and there isn't one with Richardson or Hill. The Mavericks won 53 games with Dirk, Finley, Jamison, Walker and Josh Howard, with Nash running the point. I don't see a Nash, Richardson and Hill squad winning anywhere near 50 wins. Probably 40 or less, especially now that Nash has never averaged 20 or more points per game, his scoring is falling a bit, his assists numbers are back down to single digits, and he has never shot 50% or better without Amare or Marion by his side. On the other hand, the Suns without Nash would be Amare, Richardson and Hill. I don't see how that's much better, at all, and would probably look like the Toronto Raptors.
