Source: Odom, Lakers agree on deal (Pg. 14)
Real Deal replied to The Goods's topic in Los Angeles Lakers Team Forum
I'm not worried about Boston at all. We took them out on Christmas when Garnett was healthy, and now we have Ron Artest pretty much replacing Trevor Ariza, and I'm pretty sure Pierce is going to hate that. -
A few years ago, it was Sheed. He could've been the best power forward in the NBA if his attitude wasn't in the gutter. But Odom has him today, and at this point, he's probably twice the player Sheed is.

I didn't even know what 4chan was until that one guy replaced our front page with some message authored by "MootAnon" or something like that. But it could've been a fake, obviously.

If he just works hard, he can be a pretty decent backup center in the NBA. Ford thinks he would've been a lottery pick next year if he would've stayed in college. Seeing the guy play at A&M, it really makes me wonder if Ford could be right. But if he doesn't work hard, he'll be a complete waste. -

I have a feeling that Elonu plays more minutes than Mbenga near the end of the season, but who knows. Phil doesn't play rookies as much, even if they show they are even the slightest big better than their teammate. And Brown has played the two in Lakerland. Seeing how Vujacic completely sucks now, I wouldn't be surprised to see him play more of it. But, in any case, I also wouldn't be surprised to see Vujacic contribute more than Farmar this season, and Shannon gets the nod over Jordan quite a bit. -
Larry Brown Wants Tyson Chandler to Play Power Forward
Real Deal replied to The Goods's topic in Charlotte Hornets Team Forum
Charlotte was actually the 6th best defensive team in the NBA, points given up per 100. But the thing is, Charlotte doesn't have a scorer like Rip Hamilton or Chauncey Billups. The Bobcats are going to need a lot of production out of Gerald Wallace and their two point guards, Felton and Augustin. -
Utah won't give up that pick. Not a chance. Not in this deal.

Yes, he should. He's a decent player. And I think Sun Yue may be pushed out of the way for Ben McCauley. -

Hey Paul, go into Start > Run and type cmd. Then, type in ping otrbasketball.com and hit Enter. Right-click on the top bar and hit Select All, then right-click on the bar again and hit Copy. Paste what you get in here.

I just gave them a link to this topic.

Can't wait until October. -
I went ahead and asked them if there's a problem with the server.
-
That's weird. I've never gotten it. I suppose I can get in touch with our host. I just don't see how it's a server issue if I've never gotten it, and I'm on OTR more than anyone else registered.

Bass will start because I've already put him in the lineup on the board index. Sorry Marcin. But yeah, again, Gortat should start at the five.
-
Might be. I'll have to check. I'll add a place for that in the sidebar pretty soon. PM me a reminder. I have a couple of things to do before I start working on the site tonight.

Newest picture of him, and his "tweet" about it. http://i25.tinypic.com/b5pl6a.jpg I haven't seen Ron that big in a long time. :o

The Shaq trade. They became vulnerable to the pick and roll, were completely dominated by the Spurs in the playoffs because of it, went through three coaches and two different offenses, lost their ability to defend the point (which Marion did for Nash), and brought in a player (Shaq) who needed the ball in his hands to be effective, which took it from Nash and turned him into a borderline all-star guard.

Hahaha, my bad on the second question. I just removed it. Funny how things go...forgot all about that 2006 championship.
-
I'll get to the other stuff hopefully today. I have a doctor's appointment for my eyes in the afternoon, and it's a three hour drive. But the search was removed for a bit so I can monitor how much memory the site uses without it. I'm not planning on getting rid of it, though, so don't worry.
-
Might as well get it over with. Take your pick.

I'll agree with BFT on most of that, but I'm not going to give it my all posting because this article was a waste of my time reading. The fact of the matter is, you can't be overrated when you really aren't rated by anyone to begin with.
