  1. In the West, the Spurs are the only team that I'm worried about. There's no other team that can touch us.
  2. Then your answer is yes, probably. Minnesota has Jefferson and Love, and neither of them play any defense, as well as Okur and Boozer. I'm not even sure if Gooden is healthy enough to start, though.
  3. Post part of the article next time, Ajay. Can't post full articles (not really our rules, but it's something we have to do for copyright purposes).
  4. If you've seen all the blown layups and weird shots he takes against other bench players, as a third or fourth option on our team, you'd agree with me. Ron Artest is a bad primary option, a decent second option, and an excellent third or fourth option. After Kobe and Gasol, you'll have Bynum and Ron. I'm not concerned with Artest's production on the offensive end. His shots will all be wide-open, just as Trevor Ariza's were, and that's why Ariza went from a poor shooting forward to a very good one, especially from beyond the arc with more attempts (was it around 150) in one season than he had the rest of his career with the Knicks and Magic.
  5. Looks like Live 09, which sucked. I used to love NBA Live, back in the day. Then they couldn't step up to the plate when the PS3 and 360 hit the shelves, and it all went downhill from there, and the 2k series dominated EA Sports (in basketball games).
  6. That's possibly the main reason why they haven't racked in Boozer yet. Chicago is on their heels. Miami doesn't want to give up Beasley, and Chicago probably doesn't want to give up Deng (that's what I'm guessing), while the Jazz have been rumored to have told Boozer that he's already on the way out the door.
  7. The Lakers should've treated him better? They offered him a very nice contract. He's a bench player. Hell, Ron Artest took the MLE to play for us, and Ron is twice the player Odom is on defense, and to be honest, twice the player he is on offense. Yeah, we could use Lamar, but he's not going to be that big of a loss. I would be excited if we found a way to deal him to the Heat for Beasley (which is impossible), but I'd love Chalmers, or even Dorell Wright and Haslem. Whatever gives back to us is fine. If we get nothing, and he bolts to Miami, so be it. Bynum will make up for his boards, and Shannon Brown will be more important off our bench.
  8. Super-bust in the making, if he doesn't change his attitude. And if anything, he's a very poor man's Iverson. Jennings didn't go to college because he knew he'd slide in the draft, and if you guys saw how bad ass Iverson was at Georgetown, you know that Jennings would never touch that.
  9. Yeah, I like Beasley and Lopez both, especially when Miami is thin in the frontcourt (and Jermaine, you just never know), but Mayo is a potential superstar guard and franchise player, and even if you were to lose Wade in 2010, you still have OJ.
  10. I'm going to take Mayo here. I don't pass up the chance to place Mayo and Wade in the backcourt, no matter what the team needs were...and both players can run the point.
  11. OTR's 2008 NBA Re-Draft 1) Chicago Bulls - Derrick Rose Vote and explain, please.
  12. Gasoline does smell good. Really weird, huh? Apple cinnamon and vanilla candles smell good. Jessica is a candle freak. She's got a Cranberry Mandarin candle that smells nice. Calamine lotion smells good, I think. No idea why I think that, haha. And I'm pretty sure most everyone likes the smell produced when someone is grilling.
  13. Pretty disappointed. Thread closed.
  14. I can't control the board language the search bots use, and it's always the default, so OTR would be listed in Google much differently, appealing to a Spanish crowd. I don't see why I would do that with an American-driven sport (NBA, NCAA).
  15. For the most part, his voice reminds me of Andre3000's.
  16. Why go play a game and run the risk of that same 11-year old dunking on him? Honestly, I don't even know if this is true or not, but given the fact that LeBron has done some ignorant things since the final buzzer went off in the ECF against the Magic, I wouldn't be surprised.
  17. I may do that anyways. You guys will be able to select your own board index skin, but I've gotta stick with our team forum skins because we're the only basketball site that really has fully-customized skins for each team.
  18. C - Greg Oden PF - LaMarcus Aldridge SF - Travis Outlaw (or Nicolas Batum) SG - Brandon Roy PG - Andre Miller Pretty good.
  19. I'm going to push and do what I can to get back to what we had, guys. That skin was really nice, and most everyone liked it. I'll do a fixed width, maybe change up a few things, and we'll have our 30 team forums and 90+ banners.
  20. HAHAHA. "My job wasn't taken. It was GIVEN to Chris Duhon. Don't get it twisted."
  21. I wonder how many of our guys actually know him by face. All of you should.
  22. I was done watching the draft after the Raiders' first pick this year, so yeah, it won't bother me at all because it'll be the same story for the rest of my life.
