  1. Griffin plays very well with his back to the basket, or facing his opponent up. It doesn't matter. His athleticism is a convenience for him. Dampier will just get boxed out all night by Blake, and he won't be able to stop Griffin when he gets into position near the rim...although, thing is, Dampier probably won't be defending him if Griffin is starting with Kaman. If Griffin improves his post defense, adds to his overall defensive IQ (which will boost his help defense)...he has a shot at being the best power forward in the league.
  2. Blake is just as NBA ready as Tim Duncan when he came out of Wake Forest. Having the privilege of watching Griffin in every single college game, this guy is an offensive monSTAR (no, not the Monstars on Space Jam), and he's a defensive improvement away from being a helluva franchise player for any team he plays for in his career, assuming the Clippers don't ruin him first.
  3. If Odom is upset and doesn't want to play for us, he better at least respect what Kobe, Gasol and Fisher did for his career by giving us a player in return, via a sign-and-trade.
  4. It's amazing how stupid people really are, to take pictures and video like that. I had to clean up those images once, on Clublakers, and it's really not worth seeing. Very repulsive. By the way, no links, vids or images posted in here. Google if you want to see it. It's not hard to find.
  5. Alright, I had to consult the girlfriend. Bleeding Love - Leona Lewis My Life Would Suck Without You - Kelly Clarkson If You Seek Amy - Britney Spears (maybe just because she looks damn good) Lady Gaga and Katy Perry songs are pretty sick. As for the best, all-time...Fighter (Christina Aguilera), Alone (Heart)...I don't know.
  6. Current favorite song: All-Time Favorite Song: I'll have to think about my answers. I really don't listen to many chicks sing.
  7. Odom, Vujacic, Farmar, Brown, Morrison, Mbenga, Fisher, Walton, Powell and Yue for Blake Griffin and fillers. We get Griffin, sign a ton of minimums, and the Clippers get 10 champions.
  8. Millsap is staying in Utah. They matched the offer sheet. He doesn't have a choice. And that means that Boozer is gone. Now, if the Nets get involved, I'm not sure what they will be doing for the Heat OR the Bulls. I was told Chicago has given up on Boozer because Miami had already had this in the bag, for Haslem and probably James Jones...and salaries work. Well, the only players the Nets can bring in using their exception (in a three-way) would be CJ Miles or possibly Dorell Wright (can't think of his salary at this time). But it doesn't make sense to involve a third team, because the Heat and the Bulls can both snag Boozer and match salaries to within 25%.
  9. I've heard that before, actually. I have a bunch of his unreleased songs...just not this one...but I've heard it before. By the way, a "place without no name" would be any city/town in the world. It's the same thing as him saying "with a name" haha.
  10. I don't have any information on the guy, and haven't found a way to get any yet. The IP address is a proxy. All of them have been (that I've seen).
  11. Probably the same guy that paid to get it done, since he's that obsessed.
  12. That one I quoted from TLN.
  13. So you know my full name, age, my car, the highway near my city, my city, and the hospital in my city? Wow buddy... The Lakers Nation (Lakers forums I run), I don't own the site though.
  14. Nah. We've gone through about 15 in a couple of days. Just really hard to find anything decent so late when you're looking through a city that's home to a university.
  15. So this guy messages a couple of my friends today, gets ahold of a family member that lives pretty damn far away and who I haven't seen in years, posts this garbage on TLN (according to members messaging me on Facebook) and I'm also assuming on OTR, since I've been getting messages and calls about it, and I was supposedly in this accident and I've died. What a [expletive]ing mistake. If it's the same person...you delete posts off my site and screw around like that, piss me off that way, good for you...but don't involve my family and friends, and that includes the people on OTR and TLN. Your fake [expletive]ing story is going too far. To those who were concerned (and thank you, by the way), I was house-hunting (said something about it on either Facebook or MySpace, and told a few people that I wish I remembered now), and I did state to a few that I was going to be away from the two sites for a couple of days. I have no idea how you know what kind of car I drive (probably posted that somewhere), but you sure did do your homework, looking up highways and news stations near my town. Pretty sick to even start a rumor like that in the first place, let alone take the extra steps for it. You deserve a severe ass-beating from me, real talk. I don't even know what else to say.
  16. C - Gortat PF - Howard SF - Lewis SG - Carter PG - Nelson That's what it needs to look like. Gortat is a pretty good man-to-man defensive player, really, and he belongs down low. Howard can step away from the rim a bit and defend his opponents, and get back quick enough to play help defense and swat a shot or two.
  17. It doesn't matter. It's still an NBA player. Kendall Gill could probably take a couple of guys in the bottom half of the UFC in his weight class, but realistically, almost every NBA player would get their faces beat in by an MMA fighter that has been training for it from one year out, while probably every MMA fighter would be dominated in a game of one-on-one against most NBA players (I say most so I can exclude Sasha Vujacic).
  18. I'm so sick of hearing about him already. Sign and trade, Jerry.
  19. He goes to the extreme to get his name out there, doesn't matter if it's praising his teammates, bad-mouthing coaches and former teammates, suiting up as a rent-a-cop, or asking to fight someone that would easily waste him in the Octagon.
  20. 18 points, 8-9 assists, 48-49% shooting, two-time all-star during his stint in Dallas...you make it sound like we're talking about Raymond Felton. The Suns played two different ways with O'Neal, three different coaches. Both were failures. Porter, Gentry, D'Antoni, run and gun or half-court Spurs basketball, nothing was working for Nash, Shaq, Amare or anyone else on that team. And Cleveland's offense isn't the biggest concern. Saying that LeBron had scrubs is like saying Iverson had scrubs. Defense is a hell of a weapon, and the Cavaliers have been a top defensive team even when LeBron was a poor defensive player. It's going to change, maybe not throughout the season, but definitely when they need it most. Once a team figures out the lane will be wide open with just a simple pick and roll, the Cavaliers are in too deep, just as the Suns were against the Spurs. It wasn't their offense that actually lost them games, it was their lack of defense from 1-5. Losing Bell and Marion sure the hell didn't help them, but Cleveland doesn't have any exceptional man-to-man defensive players that are able to defend guards, either, despite what others may say about LeBron.
  21. I swear on everything, I stopped after I heard, "Yo, Yo." And I hope you're kidding, Mason. Did he seriously say that? Hope he at least considers it after June.
  22. Odom turned down $9 million a year for three years, $10 million a year for four years, to go back to the defending champions. Why should anyone believe he's going to take the MLE for a year, knowing that Wade may bolt? That makes absolutely no sense for a guy who's capable of going to Portland for $50 million, five years (or even Oklahoma City). Odom's agent is searching for job security and money. A contract of $6 million, one year? If that was fine with Odom, he would have many more suitors. Word is that Riley offered Haslem and Wright for Odom. The Lakers aren't going to take that. And the deal is, if Portland gets Millsap, or if they lose out on him and chase David Lee, Odom will HAVE to be granted a sign and trade to get his $10 million a year, hope that the Thunder are interested (and no signs are showing that they are), or just accept a shorter contract from the Lakers.
  23. Theoretically? Realistically, Stein is an idiot for thinking Lamar Odom is going to accept the MLE.
  24. If your resolution is 3072 x 2304, they will look that way. But yeah, I had them left-aligned, set width...but it was looking funny.
  25. $40 million a year? Where did you come up with that? The Cavaliers will owe $26 million to Varejao, Williams, West and Gibson (and Darnell Jackson). The cap will probably be the same next season, or maybe even less. The max player salary is around $19 million starting pay, and Bird Rights give an increase of 10.5% each season, six years max. Jordan reached $33 million, Shaq reached $27 million. I don't think LeBron will touch $40 million in his career, but there's absolutely no chance it'll happen in the next six years.
