  1. Thanks for the kind words, guys. I'm actually thankful that our guys came back, despite losing everything. That's the most important part of rebuilding. I can think of a couple of guys I have yet to see re-register, and that's it...and that might be due to slow domain propagation. But not only did they come back, they also started working right where they left off, twice as hard...and that means a lot to the site. Putting the forums back up and moving hosts isn't that big of a deal. If I was the only one registered, I'd have to talk to myself and average 2,000 posts a day to match what has been done here in the last 2-3 days.
  2. All of you...what browsers are you using? Go to the Help tab and find the browser version also. I'm using Firefox 3.0.11.
  3. OTR needs writers. Nobody is on the crew at this point. Everyone has to apply with an article. Then, the members will select their writers based on two things: 1) ability to write readable and interesting content 2) probability that the writer will stay active and produce articles based on past and present activity Right now, we are only looking for basketball writers, but there will be room for other sports writers in the very near future. Once you write an article, post it on OTR and provide the link in here. All writers will be expected to write at least two articles every month. That minimum amount is extremely generous. Also, you will be asked to provide a link to OTR when you post your article for Bleacher Report, although this is strictly optional (but appreciated).
  4. That's odd. What type of monitor do you have? Is it a widescreen? Try changing the resolution to other things, just to see if anything alters it. I'm seeing your profile perfectly.
  5. I gotta write the rules first.
  6. What's your screen resolution? Right-click on your desktop, click Properties, then go to the last tab (Settings) and look for it there. I'm assuming it's 800x600. Change it to 1024x768 and tell me if that fixes your problem.
  7. There's a Print Scrn button on your keyboard, top right. Hit that, then go into Photoshop or Paint and open a new document, hit Ctrl+V (paste) and save the image, then upload it to Tinypic or wherever.
  8. That's because Hill still plays defense and can ball, as long as the Suns' training staff is keeping him healthy.
  9. Yeah, I'm not sure if I can do anything about that. There's a notepad you can save anything you want on, though, and it's a private field.
  10. We'll figure something out with the signatures soon. I need to write up our guidelines again. Aaron, what did you change in the ACP to bring up the AIM for members?
  11. I've still got the old skin somewhere, but it doesn't matter because the CSS and HTML templates are entirely different.
  12. Had to finally take a day off. I was driving myself crazy. Played some ball, spent time with Jessica. Now it's back to work. Another solid day of posting, also. 1,959 posts. Excellent, excellent job everyone.
  13. Google "domain propagation" and read a little about it.
  14. Pretty cool. They put that song together quickly. And yes, there's a new embed code. In fact, there's a topic about it in the Announcements (media tags).
  15. Someone got in and took out the databases, and our garbage host stated that they didn't have backups and that they couldn't give us the IP address of the person that accessed the cPanel that day. And because my hard drive had crashed just a week or two ago, I had no backups on the computer. So we were screwed.
  16. Probably because there were new posts in them that you have yet to read, or you were using the "Today's Active Content" link at the bottom of the board.
  17. Haha, yeah. I know a ton of 30-40 year old Lakers fans that post about their team.
  18. Don't let age consume you, Paul! You can never stop discussing the game. Knowledge is power.
  19. There's no chance I can make that prediction, because this is where most of my uncertainty lies among all things NBA right now. But out of the three destinations (Minnesota, Spain, New York), he'll be in one of those. Off the record, he'll be overseas for a year or two.
  20. Yeah, it absolutely sucks, to be honest. But it is what it is, Sheedster.
  21. 1) Los Angeles Lakers 2) Oklahoma City Thunder (finally, a "local" team) 3) Chicago Bulls (Jordan and the Bulls are who I watched all the time when I first got into the sport)
  22. Well, with Rubio going back to Spain for a while (more than likely), they need a point guard. Telfair won't cut it, and Foye is gone. That team wins 15 games max without a point.
