Big Baby Hopes To Return To Celtics
Real Deal replied to The Goods's topic in Boston Celtics Team Forum
If there's any truth to that (from the source you heard it from), he's missing the entire 09-10 season. -
Limit on How many + you can give in one day?
Real Deal replied to Mike Hawk's topic in Archived Topics
I can only limit the amount of rep points, which counts for both positives and negatives. And I think the limit is either five or ten. -
Nah. That's an average of around 1700-1800 posts per day (just in my head) if we've got that eight-month period. I'd say we will reach 300,000 posts by June 2010. That's an average of 800+ posts per day. We still have this full off-season to get through.

Very little chance, unless the front office decides David Lee can contribute more, because that may be the only player Minny is interested in for Rubio. In the process, Minnesota did pick up Flynn, so I would assume they don't care too much that Ricky may go back to Spain for a year.

I don't agree with that, but oh well. Iverson was a ball thief, but that didn't make him a good defensive player. Camby was a shot-blocker, but he was always in trouble when the ball came into the post, and someone backed him down. I believe Wade racked up big steals and blocks numbers as a guard...wasn't it 170/100 (approximately)? I'm not sold on LeBron playing defense. I understand that Cleveland has players who aren't that solid defensively, and LeBron has to pick up a man sometimes (and sometimes makes a good defensive play at the rim), but that doesn't give me enough to say that he's that great of a defender.

Well, first off, why was his page taken down? That almost seems like it wasn't him to begin with if his Twitter page was removed. But if it was him, it's no surprise. He's got an attitude. The kid better put on some weight before these pros eat him alive.

Big Baby Hopes To Return To Celtics
Real Deal replied to The Goods's topic in Boston Celtics Team Forum
I don't know why they wouldn't bring him back, especially with Garnett's knee troubles and their thin frontcourt. How is Leon Powe coming along? I believe it was his knee that knocked him out of the first round the year he was drafted. And Davis slimming down won't be a problem. He wants to shoot more than bang down low, anyways. -
Which team is in the deepest hole?
Real Deal replied to YugoRocketsFan's topic in General NBA Discussion
I really think Phoenix needs to hand out everyone immediately. Get rid of Amare and Nash both, before they bolt and leave you with nothing. You can't always build your team with draft picks, and free agents aren't going to be attracted to Phoenix versus a city like New York or Brooklyn. -
Yeah, Elonu isn't that bad, actually. You keep him in the NCAA for another year, and he turns into a first-rounder and maybe a lottery, since he's a big man. But we'll see how that translates into the pros. Could have been a mistake coming out early. I'm glad we got rid of our other two picks. We sold that 29th for quite a bit of cash.

Favorite Wrestler of All-Time?
Real Deal replied to Real Deal's topic in MMA, Wrestling and Boxing Forum
Did Taker ever lose a Wrestlemania match? -
I have no clue, haha. There's also a "Today's Active Content" link at the bottom of the forums. Just thinking...maybe it doesn't show up for you because it's your topic/post, and it's not "new" to you.

Tom Thibodeau and Kevin Garnett are the biggest reasons for Boston's defensive ranking. I'm not sure if I can put LeBron in the same sentence with Garnett. Do you honestly think that LeBron was the second-best defensive player in the league?
-
Nope. But it's all irrelevant now. We got this. I'm going to PM you something, OldChili. Give me a minute.

1,901 posts, I believe...and that was when Aaron created all of those gameday posts using the database, so we cheated. Other than that, I think the record was 1,600.

Sources: Sterling Nixed Randolph Swap With Griz
Real Deal replied to YoSixers's topic in Los Angeles Clippers Team Forum
Darko would've contributed more to the Clippers than Randolph. He's not that great of a player, but he's not that bad of a defender. His defensive IQ is higher than I had expected. Ironically, he reminds me of Kwame in that regard. Nevertheless, a stupid move by Sterling. -
At this rate, we will probably get 600,000 posts in less than a year, hahaha. But yeah, it won't stay this active. Almost 2,000 posts in a 24-hour period is pretty crazy, though.
-
You guys need to deal him for a starting guard and a backup center. It doesn't have to be some all-star guard, just one capable of starting a full season. I wonder if Chicago would be interested, especially if they are losing Gordon and hoping to cut salaries to get Wade in 2010. You could get Hinrich, at least.

Favorite Wrestler of All-Time?
Real Deal replied to Real Deal's topic in MMA, Wrestling and Boxing Forum
He's my second favorite, haha. Sick Wrestlemania entrance, and his matches with Bret were awesome. -
http://www.nba.com Try that.

I'll see what I can do. Give me a minute.

Restart the topic and stick with it this time.

Hmm...clear the cache first (don't worry about the cookies). Then tell him to open up the site and then hit the refresh button on his browser.

Ah, because my hate for LeBron is too overwhelming. Individual defensive purposes, or just defensive purposes? You remove Brown as the head coach and wipe out the smarter help defenders, and LeBron doesn't seem like much of a defensive player anymore. And before you tell me that he's the reason why they are an excellent defensive team, I'm assuming you wouldn't agree with that in 2007.
-
Make sure he knocks out the cache (temp files) also. That's actually most important. But again, it's probably domain propagation...but aren't you two on the same internet service?
-
Domain propagation. But try to clear cache and cookies first. He'll be able to access it in a day or so, I'm sure. There may be a lot of members with that problem. It takes a few days for the domain to propagate across the world, depends on how frequently the ISP updates their domain lists.
