  1. Also, about the fouls on Davis and whoever else blocked a shot not as important as the ones on Kobe, let's also not forget the points that came off the free throws. I understand Kobe is a game changer obviously, but those few points that the Lakers shouldn't have had has an impact as well. Calls were bad either way, and I find it funny you guys are only focusing on the bad calls that went against the Lakers and not the ones that were bad against the Celtics.
  2. Yeah, exactly. If you watch the whole play, Garnett has it basically in his hands, and Gasol's finger pushes it out. Just go to that post that Guru or whoever put up, and watch the play at around 3. You can see Gasol's finger pushing it out of Garnett's hand.
  3. From the replay, it seemed to me it went off Gasol's finger. I think the refs got it right. As for Kobe's fouls, I think 2-3 weren't really fouls, but I thought Boston played better all night and deserved to win. There were bad calls both ways the entire night in my opinion. And let's not forget Garnett had some foul trouble too. He had 2 fouls in like the first 2-3 minutes, and because of it he really wasn't in any kind of rhythm the whole game. And Lakers could have won the game or at least have had a chance to win if Kobe didn't miss 3 big shots near the end.
  4. What the hell is up with Ray Allen? 7-7 from downtown. And a horrible call. Kobe should not have 3 fouls.
  5. Would have been hilarious if the Lakers didn't make it.
  6. Well I agree with basically everything you said. But Lakers do tend to be less aggressive on the road in my opinion, hence less free throws. Though I do think they get less fouls called in favor of them on the road than say the Cavs. No way the Celtics were screwed because of the refs. If anything, the Lakers got too many fouls called on them in the 4th quarter with all those late whistles. They seemed to come right after someone missed a shot. And once again, not sure if this is directed at me or not, but I don't think the fouls necessarily disrupted the way each team played. I just think it's more enjoyable and better for the game when they let the players play and call less fouls. And agree with your final point as well. Lakers outrebounded the Celtics by 11 I think and had 18 more points in the paint. Garnett seems to have trouble with Gasol's post moves and height in my opinion.
  7. Not sure if this is directed at me, but I never said they were bad calls. I'm just saying Ray Allen needs to keep out of foul trouble if he wants to help his team win. But like I said, I like to see physical play. I don't like seeing a lot of fouls called as I think it disturbs the tempo of the game. It's the NBA Finals and I think they should let them play a bit more instead of calling fouls all the time, on both sides. Both teams shot over 30 free throws and I think that's too much. Boston had 28 fouls and Lakers 26 and I think that is way too many fouls called. And there were a lot of late whistles for the Celtics. I remember a foul Fisher made on Allen that wasn't a foul at all.
  8. That's very cool. Nice to see Bynum being nice enough to sign that poster. If it was Kobe somehow he would have walked right past you Even Chris Rock couldn't distract Kobe.
  9. And Ray Allen needs to stay out of foul trouble. Lots of fouls though called either way. The refs need to let them play it out.
  10. Eh, trading baskets won't get the Celtics anywhere right now. Down 15. Need to go on a huge run right now if they want to have a chance in these last 6 minutes.
  11. Yes, it was, but he doesn't need to overreact and kick his feet in the air like he just dislocated his shoulder. Riley said Wade's injury was so bad that he suffered some nerve damage. And when your franchise player gets injured like that, you take precautions. And besides, Pierce is known for overreacting to these things. No need to get so upset about what I said, haha. And last time I remembered Paul Pierce has required the need of a wheelchair before.
  12. Hahah wtf Paul Pierce acting like he got another season ending injury.
  13. If the league doesn't take away that technical, which they will, but if they don't then Perkins is suspended for the next game.
  14. How the hell is that a technical? Horrible call.
  15. Wow, what a shot by Redick! Magic are hitting everything right now.
  16. Magic played well in that first quarter, but they need to guard Paul Pierce a lot better.
  17. Kobe was a beast out there, but as everyone has already said, no one else came to play for the Lakers. With the foul attempts thing, I think Phoenix has just been much more aggressive. Besides Kobe, everyone else seemed dead. Lakers settled for too many jumpers.
  18. As Dwight Howard said, the Magic just have to believe. Take this one game at a time. Sure it seems impossible to come back from a 0-3 deficit (now 1-3), but you just can't give up. The Flyers I think were able to do it in the NHL this year, and while the NBA is of course different, it's still not impossible.
  19. Horrible play by Reddick, but why did they not put more time on the clock? Anyway, horrible 0-2 start for the Magic. 2 losses at home. But Magic are able to win both in my opinion at Boston. Will be incredibly hard though.
