Hopefully this game won't be a blowout like the other two games. -

Agreed. Ejection was way too harsh. -

If anything Noah had to be ejected. What a bullshit call. McRoberts was just reacting to Noah's dirty play. -

I think it is safe to say Durant should be given the ball at the end of games. -

GM4: LA Lakers at New Orleans (LAL 2-1)

Exactly. At the last minute. How do you explain the previous 45 minutes? Or more specifically, the first half? I did watch the game, and he was shit in the first half in terms of shooting (had 0 points, 0-7). Give the New Orleans defense credit. That's such a stupid comment you originally made. Any game you could say, "If X player played better, X team would have won." There was a reason Kobe didn't go off tonight (and it wasn't because he sprained his ankle at the last minute). It doesn't matter that if he did the game wouldn't even be close (which is arguable to begin with), because he simply didn't go off. Plain and simple. The defense was able to contain him well for the most part. -

What kind of stupid statement is that? There was a reason he was off tonight. -

Hornets 12-22 at the FT line. That isn't going to get it done. -

Haha, take Pau out, bring Lamar in, and the Lakers establish a 12 point lead. -

Haha what is wrong with Pau. Playing like a retard out there. Phil should just bring in Odom. -
What the hell was up with that three anyway?

Raging Bull is in my opinion one of the best films ever made. I thought the actress that played Alice was fine. The movie was decent, but that Depp dance at the end almost ruined the whole movie, haha. Also, is this the first time you've seen Network? I re-watched it recently (like a couple of days ago) and its probably my favorite movie of all time. Absolutely love it.

htown I just watched Inside Job tonight (on Blu-Ray). Very good documentary. Fast paced, well edited, and a lot of interesting interviews. Gets a 9/10 from me. And the only other documentary I saw in the Academy Awards Best Documentary feature was Exit Through the Gift Shop (really want to see Restrepo), but I prefer Inside Job. Also, if you are interested in some documentaries, the best one I've probably seen is Harlan County, U.S.A. You can watch it on Hulu for free: http://www.hulu.com/watch/166744/harlan-county-usa Also saw Bus 174 last night. Another very good documentary (Brazilian). Shows a lot of problems with Brazil's society. http://www.sinfield.org/images/p1_bus174.jpg

Funny thing is that when it first showed at Cannes Film Festival I believe, he kept persisting that the film is in fact coherent and he gave 10 clues I believe to people that were trying to figure it out. But I do agree with you that the film wants to be sort of confusing and non-linear, and I'm sure Lynch loves hearing/reading about these many different interpretations. And that is really why it is so great as you said. Just watching the movie is a fantastic experience in itself. Also, if you haven't seen it, Youth Without Youth is sort of similar in terms of it being non-linear and sort of confusing. Love that movie. Seen it a few times now.

I think if one looks for clues or something the movie can come more together after a few viewings. I've thought about the movie and read some things and there are many interesting things people have mentioned that I missed, and I personally think I could possibly see some things I didn't see the first time around. Great thing is though even if you are confused, the movie is just a great experience. I've seen I think all of Lynch's short films, and Elephant Man, Mulholland Drive, Wild at Heart, and Dune. Dune was a horrible movie in my opinion. Wild at Heart was very good, and Mulholland Drive and Elephant Man were both great, though I would say Mulholland Drive is a masterpiece. Don't think I would say that about Elephant Man.

Just a few films I've seen in the past couple of weeks. Haven't been able to watch as many as I would like lately due to teachers cramming in tests near spring break (which is next week for me). http://www.geeks.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/colad.jpg City of Life and Death I always thought that the Rape of Nanking would make a great movie if done right, and Chuan Lu has proved that with this movie. Beautifully shot in black and white, this film is simply unforgettable. The first hour or so contains some of the best war scenes I've ever seen, and the following time shows the aftermath after the Japanese take over of Nanking. There are many scenes that will stick with you for days, possibly even weeks. To put it simply, this is one of the best films the past decade has produced. Rating: 10/10 http://cache2.allpostersimages.com/p/LRG/40/4058/BSKLF00Z/posters/every-man-for-himself-and-god-against-all-1976.jpg Every Man For Himself and God Against All If I knew about Kaspar Hauser before, I'm not sure if I would think a good movie could come out of his story, but Herzog has made a great film based on the guy. Bruno who plays Kaspar Hauser is simply brilliant, and carries the film rather well with his performance. Rating: 10/10 http://netwebsite.in/movie/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/127-Hours-Poster.jpg 127 Hours James Franco really gives a stunning performance, and Boyle directs the film with style. And that is I think the film's minor problem. The film is shot, directed, scored, and acted very well for the most part, but I'm not sure if I was a big fan of Boyle's style. It seemed over the top sometimes, and I think that took away a bit from the power of the film. Rating: 9/10 http://scottbrothers.files.wordpress.com/2009/12/mulholland_drive.jpg Mulholland Drive The more I think about this film, the more I love it. Lynch has created a film that could be discussed endlessly, with many interpretations possible. The performances are great, especially Naomi Watts, and while the film might seem incoherent or confusing, it is never dull and I suspect as one watches it more, the film comes together more. Definitely a masterpiece and one of the best films of the past decade. Rating: 10/10

Bynum with 9 rebounds already (5 offensive) and there is a minute left in the 1st quarter.
-
Heat shooting the ball extremely well (60%) and are playing great defense, but Grizzlies have too many offensive rebounds. Hopefully this play continues in the 2nd half.
-
Yeah, it was definitely a flop. Smart move by LeBron, but yeah, definitely a flop. When I saw the replay I laughed since it was so obvious. Don't get that long range shot by Kobe either. With 25 seconds to go, you can go for a quick 2 and foul the Heat or pressure them again. Heat weren't shooting that well at the free throw line today. Also, Spoelstra should play Big Z more. Whenever he was on the court we played much better it seemed. Also, loved how Mike Miller played. He played like shit Tuesday and he comes back shooting well and rebounding the ball. Loved his effort. Bibby also played well hitting some big 3 pointers. And one more thing, the Lakers should never be outrebounded by the Heat. Heat had 46 to Lakers' 37.

Nice call.

lmao did anyone laugh at Bosh's celebration after his dunk?
-
Haha, thanks. Tough loss for Dallas.
-
Haha, what happened? I saw the score was 91-85 with Dallas ahead with 1:31 left, and I check like 5 minutes later and Dallas lost.
