What is up with Gasol? He isn't playing like he was playing at the beginning of the season. And who was guarding him? I didn't watch the game, but since Yao is out, was Hayes on him as he plays C? I'm guessing Miller guarded him when he came off the bench. Not sure why he played so bad.

Yeah, Spoelstra has had my respect for a while. And I hated how Wade didn't have his back.

I like the intensity of Juwan Howard, but the push was a bit unnecessary, lol. Armstrong was going to go help Anthony up it seemed and Howard just pushed him. It did however energize the team and finally this Heat team looked physical so it wasn't all that bad I guess.

Not to mention he can pass and rebound pretty well too.

I know Korver, Brewer, and Watson joined, but did that really add up to the other max contract? Sorry, I was away during the summer (4 week program thing) and I wasn't able to really catch up on this stuff. Was also more focused on the World Cup, lol. But either way, I don't think Rose and LeBron would really play that well with each other. Both players need the ball to really be effective and both are slashers, and Rose has improved his shooting, but he still isn't a great jumpshooter or anything.

Haha, for the season though he has been shooting very well. 52% overall and 62% from downtown (13-21 before today). His defense is horrible though, and that's why I rather have Chalmers play.

Nice to see Chalmers finally get some minutes.

At least he is doing other things (3 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, no turnovers compared to LeBron's 5 and Bosh's 3). He still needs to get going though. I hope they run a few plays for him in the 2nd half.

I doubt Chicago would have Boozer if they signed LeBron. And Chicago has desperately needed a post presence for the past few years, so I think Boozer is a better fit than LeBron would be.

I used to post a lot here back in the day (a year or two ago, don't really remember). Haven't really posted that much recently. This game wasn't really that good in my opinion for the Heat. For a lot of the game it was close and 76ers are like the worst team in the East, so this win wasn't exactly the type of win I expected/hoped for.

My bad, thought I read somewhere he was out against the Heat. Thanks for the correction. And lmao at the Heat, 76ers shooting 51.4% while we are shooting 43.6%. Carlos Arroyo keeping up his good shooting though.

I don't get why we didn't foul Rudy when he was driving in. I understand not fouling because they think it will be in the act of shooting, but I think they could have fouled Rudy pretty easily when he was driving.
