  1. I don't know about ya'll Nets fans but i can't wait for next season despite the supposed set backs and estimations that we will be the 'worst' team in the NBA .. I love the hate personally .. it was the same type of thing that was labeled upon us last season and we shattered those expectations and nearly made the playoffs .. Good read though, i suggest you read it.
  2. The man will be missed .. he did good things believe that or not for New Jersey basketball.. It's good to here the Brooklyn plans won't change like i recal saying it won't ..
  3. Ok i was joking but ... Who are you to call ones posts unintelligent when you just called Glen Davis crap and you would not support this team anymore if we attained him.. you talking to me about being unintelligent? .. come on now.. get outta here with that kid ..
  4. Fine don't be a fan, doubt anyone cares dude lol .. Davis is great, he is very underrated. He has playoff and finals experience .. he know's how to score also which would help us a ton ..
  5. Nice, i just looked that up and was bout to post bout the free-throws .. yeah Carter > Hedo .. Yes you are being biased, Scott had Kidd in his better years and now compare him to his point guard now with Paul, he is overrated.
  6. If we grab Baby and happen to make the playoffs (i know a reach) then we actually have a squad who has finals and playoff experience in Baby, Harris and Lee. Two of whom made the finals .. This is a great young squad .. for real ..
  7. Your talking about a point guard though, he is the coach on the floor. Kidds play doesn't determine the coaches influences because of his roles under both Scott and Frank, he played good under both. You need to look at guys like VC and RJ and compare them from previous situations to Frank as they would be used in Franks offensive schemes more then Kidd, Kidd facilitates while the real production of the coaching is in the wing players; RJ and VC.
  8. No way! Kidd has had his best seasons in New Jersey, New Jersey made him the superstar point guard he is today. Also RJ really hasn't known anything other then New Jersey and has without a doubt had his best seasons in New Jersey, Frank could be considered what made RJ a capable scorer, he set up plays for him that worked well for him. Carter is Carter and obviously had better seasons in his younger times as he only came to Jersey when he was like 28 i think .. he was somewhat heading out of his prime as he hit his prime rather early .. Everything else i kinda agree with you on but to say that RJ, Kidd and VC underachieved during their stay in New Jersey is incorrect.. they have had their best times with Jersey.
  9. How ain't ya'll heard of him.. he ain't good but he's not bad either .. Also 6'7" isn't very accurate, he's just under 6'9"
  10. Chalmers Wade Beasley Odom O'Neal The Heat really need to make a big signing in 2010 though, it looks like it won't be Bosh anymore but LeBron is still up there too.. i say they sign Johnson and Amare though and run with that with Wade at the point, Chalmers off the bench as Odom. Wade Johnson Beasley Amare -
  11. http://www.rapbasement.com/audio/the-game-nba-2k10.html Theme song? .. The lyrics are dope .. i would prefer this over the slim thug one ..
  12. LMAO!!!!!!!!!!! Wow Knicks stay losing, pushing back their plans on signings and [expletive] .. i honestly have never heard of something like this before .. is this article legit ? .. for real man .. damn if this is true the Knicks are the lamest team in the world.. yes in the world .. even European teams have better chances at signings .. Wow
  13. Well he didn't really miss a season, only played 30 or so games as i recall due to his ankle surgery.. Still would have been nice ..
  14. I read that linked article, gives more depth with videos and yes i agree with most of that. I have been saying it for a while, maybe older posters like Waldo or Universe may recall me saying that i hate it when Frank takes out our players when they are hot.. it seriously drives me crazy .. I like Frank as a coach and i think we should keep him as long as we can because he is a great developer of players and as stated motivator which is huge to have as a coach in your arsenal .. However he makes bad decisions late in games, in terms of player rotations and in terms of plays (offense generally) .. i guess this will all come with the development of players, keeping our roster the same for the next 2-3 years (other then our star FA signing) so that our players can mesh together.. In terms of the offensive mistakes he makes, well i guess you could say he is more of a defensive coach, the article had Phil Jackson, Mike D'Antoni and Don Nelson who all are known for the best offensive plays and offensive schemes created around the league, i don't think it is fair to have them compared up to a far younger coach who has by far a worse team to work with, i mean to almost make the playoffs with your top scorer being a 33 something year old is crazy and having him average that season 22 ppg is great. I mean look at Ray Allen, do you think he could have done what VC done last season? .. Yes, under Frank i think he could but under your average coach other then those top 3 big names i don't think so. I mean you can't argue that Frank is more of a offensive coach then defensive minded coach, his teams may not portray that but he is actually more defensive approached to his line-ups. However he is a great coach that we just need to be patient with at times, i know it sounds hypocritical of me as i once said i hated him but it's just not logical to bring in another coach to develop our rookies as we already have Frank doing such a good job.
  15. Wow they get a DPE for that? .. What about other players that missed prety much whole seasons like Amare or RJ? .. that's whack .. I bet Yao comes back half way through season ..
  16. Ah i see, thanks for the info on that Brandon. I would rather see Wright come over then Miles however. We have the shooting secure with Hayes, Yi, Dooling, Rafer, Lee etc. at various positions + Miles is more risky to take on then Wright is .. Exactly, Yi has been improving noticeably recently. i am eager to see how he does now as he will get more minutes starting next season.
  17. So let me get this correct.. The Nets aren't trading for Boozer but helping in a deal? .. Or i could be wrong and misread the whole thing and the TE is there to help the deal go through for Boozer to come to the Nets. Either way this trade would shake things up if Boozer left Utah as it looks like Milsap might leave Utah also and go to Portland but who knows these days in the NBA? ..
  18. Wade stepped up in terms of endorsements .. any information on how much he getting from Jordan? Might be a tad less the his Converse endorsement seeing as he was head of converse ..
  19. Curry Morrow Jack Randolph Biedrins .. it > Ellis, Crawford and Maggette in the starting line-up.
  20. Wait so they still have Josh Howard and got Marion ? Wow that is ... scary .. Who cares about the loss of Bass when you have Marion who is better .. I would assume Dirk may play some center then if Marion is playing a switch between PF and SF, i like the look of the line-up though, they have at least 4 go to scorers .. Kidd J-Ho or Terry Marion Dirk Hollins or Dampier
  21. Oh i wouldn't go there on Nas and Pac son ..
  22. Not necessarily, Baron is a underrated floor general, this guy made the Warriors look like WCF contenders back in 07 .. he made Monta what he is today, he proved he can help the development of young players as he has done with Thornton and Gordon playing well their first years .. honestly you look at Thornton especially and Baron has a lot to do with him playing like he is .. Baron i think will take a back seat in terms of scoring in the back-court, i think he understands the Clippers need him in there for his IQ, ball handling, passing and awareness.. A.I. i think will be more of a back-up for both Gordon and Baron which is a great back-up and in my opinion gives this team a very strong back court .. With Blake however i think it won't affect him at all, actually make it easier for him. You have two HOF dare i say, point guards in the back-court .. they will get him his looks, i think A.I. won't ask for shots anymore .. he will just do whats best for the team, he understands that he's aged and i think he wants to go to L.A. to help this young team develop and hopefully win games .. I think it's a good move ...
  23. Bring DeAndre Jordan to GS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111 Ellis for Jordan! .. Lets go! ... Lets go!!
