Emeka Okafor vs. Andris Biedrins
Klashnekoff replied to Built Ford Tough's topic in Player Comparisons
Really quite easily Andris Biedrins.. I'll explain here a few reasons why. You have Biedrins who is 23, improving every year, rebounds better, block shots better, can score better (doesn't have a point guard to get him the ball which proves my point as Okafor does), can run the floor better, can spread the floor more, can pass the ball better, less turnover prone, shoots a better FG%, had a almost better season last year then Okafor and started 34 or so less games and played about 28 or so less games and finally the reason i think Biedrins is better mostly is because this guy keeps improving, Okafor has stayed at 13-14ppg and 10rpg since he came into the league pretty much .. no improvement and has stayed there for a long while, he's hitting 28 i think soon so he is now somewhat considered a veteran with 6+ seasons under his belt and hasn't done much in the NBA.. Biedrins at least has playoff experience and he's only 23 .. So quite easily Biedrins .. -
Oh god .. this some fire ..

lmao god damn Dwight is loud .. screaming and [expletive] .. damn my ears hurt ..

I'll have a look into it and see if i can get some names, i think we can add Marion into that group of 3-4 guys.. i also wouldn't close out David Lee.. Yes we are but as Thorn said in a previous article, LeBron does look secure in Cleveland as does Wade in Miami and Bosh in Toronto, we need to look at all of our options and seeing as Lopez is future potential all-star and we already have our franchise player in Harris + complimentary players like Lee, Williams etc then we should attempt to build at that also ..
-
Good read, it opens your eyes to the potential of Courtney Lee. I think both guys; Anderon & Lee will flourish on both teams.. it was about the opportunities and roles they had on the teams, now they both possibly have starting roles.. well Lee will that is mostly for sure .. I am finally liking the deal for him ..

Good, didn't want ya in Jersey anyway fool lol.. Why would we even be attempting to offer guys like Marion offers like this ..

Pistons Turned Down Prince-For-Boozer
Klashnekoff replied to The Goods's topic in Detroit Pistons Team Forum
lmao at Charlie being a 3. So now in todays basketball if you are above .. say .. 6'10" and can shoot the ball you are all of a sudden a 3.. it doesn't even matter anymore if you will get destroyed by other 3's due to lack of speed, your ball handling not up to par of a small forward and it being extremely hard for a 6'11" guy to guard the smaller SF players like a Vince Carter who would absolutely destroy him .. or Caron Butler ... or Ron Artest .. the list goes on .. It's stupid to call Charlie a 3 player, he is a 4 and can really only play the 4 or the 5 at times .. anything else is out of position for him .. sure i can understand you say he is a 3 because he can score in high volumes and stretch out the floor but that isn't a valid reason to position him at the 3 now is it ? Stuckey Gordon Prince Charlie Johnson Looks strong to me .. like the guy above said i think Dumars is recreating the past 04' pistons team, it looks almost identical.. Stuckey has a similar game to a younger Chauncey but his upside is actually greater if he can get that 3pt shot to fall more consistently .. Gordon is a bit different however from RIP but can run those screens like RIP and i would say a better scorer .. this guy can get hot one game and put a whole team on his back for a week lol .. it's crazy .. when he's focused, he'll hurt teams .. that 3pt shot is one of the best in the league if not the best .. yep i said it ... Prince is Prince and is the versatile player who can be moved to the 4 or 2 if needed .. Charlie is a softer version of Rasheed, he has better scoring ability i would say but in terms of defense and rebounding presence he needs to improve .. I think with due time seeing as this team is young, that they will improve into a similar 04' Pistons team .. As for Johnson, he is like Ben, you must admit, he can blocks shots and grab boards .. he needs to beef up a tad but other then that it's true .. -
Probably no one offered him anything else so he just accepted the pay cut..
-
Hmmmm ... Anyone else feel that Ratner needs to be stopped? .. This is getting ridiculous to be honest ... We really need Brian as our assistant coach ..

Better then ever Brandon! I call Nets team forum captain!

Now it's all on Harris and somewhat Lopez. The future looks bright in Jersey while we are still there.

^ Exactly. Also again, Rondo hasn't got the mentality Harris has, Harris is a leader, Rondo is not. Simple. Yes he has 3 all-stars which may downplay his performances but i'd like to see him in a situation like Harris, 25 years young or so and is carrying a team on his back. This is why i give credit to guys like Kevin Martin, Danny Granger and Devin Harris. They are guys around 25 years young, not quite veterans nor are they young learning players anymore but they are young leaders, carrying franchises on their backs.. not to mention Durant is going to be the next big thing .. i'll report back on him in 3 years or so and we'll see him leading the league in scoring .. However i am getting off-track .. Harris > Rondo. Anyday give me Harris.

I doubt that we did. We'll miss you Vince! .. Go get that ring!
