  1. The Leafs are my favorite. I've been a die hard fan since I was like 10 years old. If you want a team to get excited about, try a team like to Oilers. They have probably the best young team in the league. Or if you want to follow a contender, maybe Detroit or New York Rangers? Oh and i'm just wondering, living in Texas, is there much TV coverage of the Stars? Like do you have to order NHL network to watch it or do they show games on any local networks or anything?
  2. Does anyone have ESPN Insider? They posted an article ranking the top 30 prospect systems and i'm curious to see where the Jays are ranked and what they said about their prospects. http://insider.espn.go.com/mlb/hotstove11/story?id=7547640&_slug_=san-diego-padres-best-farm-system-baseball-mlb&action=upsell&appRedirect=http%3a%2f%2finsider.espn.go.com%2fmlb%2fhotstove11%2fstory%3fid%3d7547640%26_slug_%3dsan-diego-padres-best-farm-system-baseball-mlb I don't know if that link will work, but try it out if anyone has it. Thanks.
  3. I'll watch it after the Raps game. I really want to see Harrison Barnes play. Marshall is on NC too I believe? Is there anyone on Duke I should be watching out for?
  4. I preferred the Rubio one, but this was a close second. Congrats Guru!
  5. Pats fans should be pissed about this. I would be if I was a Pats fan. That is not what you do the day after you lose the Superbowl, thats for sure.
  6. No one else thinks the Jets? I think thats would be the best situation for him, and they only need a good quarterback to be a contender. Sanchez is not the answer.
  7. I'm pumped to see Valanciunas there next year. And why is Norris Cole not there?
  8. Who/what do you think the Redskins will have to give up to move up to the 3rd pick and draft Griffin? I'm just curious, I find NFL trading a little bit weird compared to NHL and NBA, so I'm just wondering if you have any idea what kind of package it would take?
  9. Ok, then I hope we get Thomas back. Ross is alright, but i'd prefer to give Amukamara some playing time as the third string.
  10. I agree with almost everything. I don't think we have a need at CB with Thomas coming back from injury. With him we still have Webster and Ross AND Amukamara will be even better next year. We need a good TE for sure and a RT. HB is a huge point of need, a lot more then some people seem to think. I don't believe Bradshaw is the answer unless he suddenly improves dramatically over the offseason. Jacobs might not be gone, but he isn't going to be a factor at all next year. I like Da'rell Scott or whatever his name is, hopefully he will be given some carrys this year. His speed is unreal. The Giants usually draft BPA, so I don't see that changing. It might be interesting to see if they try to move up in the draft considering the have the last pick.

  12. I should have said who I believe the Raptors should draft, not who I think Colangelo will draft.
  13. I wonder how much money they would be offering to Iverson. Surely its got to be a lot more then $20,000.
  14. I never knew that side of Love before. I always kind of thought he was a decent guy. He should know that on a play like that Scola just has to try to throw it in bounds before he goes out of bounds to avoid the turnover. Sounds like he`s the type of guy who thinks everyone is out to get him.
  15. I think you made some solid picks. I don't really know much about these guys except for what I've read on websites and watching highlight reels for most of them. For the Raptors pick, i'm not a huge fan of Perry Jones, but he is an alright player. I don't see them picking him over Sullinger though. Him being a dominant post player offensively is just what the Raptors need. You never know though, Jones is definitely a good player with great potential. I`ll be able to expand more about these guys after March Madness where I usually learn everything I need to know about the top guys.
  16. I think just over 40 wins. Somewhere between 40-45 or so.
  17. They are going to be scary next year I think. Obviously we won the Super Bowl, so we are a very good team, but with a 9-7 record, I still feel like we're lucky we made the playoffs. If the Eagles played even close to as good as they could have, they would have been 10-6 and we wouldn't have even made the playoffs. Next year I think will be a different story and we are going to have a struggle to make it to the playoffs if we want to win the division.
  18. New York Knicks. If you were to tell me they would be 6 games behind .500 and only 1.5 games ahead of the Raptors i'd just laugh. Even without Billups I still thought they would be atleast close in the standing with Boston. Especially after adding Tyson Chandler. Amare and Melo have both just been off this year. Even with Melo averaging 23 PPG he is still shooting really poorly and way too often. I think it would be a bad decision to trade Carmelo like i've heard a bit over the past few days. He is still an Allstar and every team needs one to be a contender. They still might climb back up to around .500 and challenge for a playoff spot though, who knows.
  19. Hah, thanks for that post. I missed most of the first quarter because I was so pumped up for the Superbowl that I completely forgot the Raptors were playing. Its really good to hear that Derozan was making smart plays and not just dribbling around and then forcing a bad shot. I saw when he made the nice play to Rasual, but of course he missed the dunk and the free throws. I saw the sick dunk where he saw the lane and just exploded to the basket. That is what I love to see out of Derozan. I don't know if you're superstitious, but other than that dunk, Deerozan really started to cool off after I put on the game, and last time I missed a full Raptors game he put up 27 points. Maybe i'm bad luck.
