  1. I clicked the link, but apparently because i'm canadian i'm not allowed to watch <_<
  2. What the hell did Pau think he was going to accomplish flailing his arms around like that? He kind of looks like he's doing the doggy paddle or something
  3. I think last year was probably their last opportunity to capture a championship before the teams age was too high, and they did it. But if I was GM of the Mavs, i'd be getting started on rebuild mode.
  4. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2h60uviwKC0 That was just bad. Bosh is such a little [expletive].
  5. I recruited one friend, although he hasn't posted too much. I'm in a couple fantasy leagues, I think i'll go on the mesage board there and see if anyone wants to join
  6. Pretty good read. I think you should be added to the writing team. There are atleast a few guys who haven't even made a mention of writing anything yet.
  7. If possible, i'd love to have a sig of Demar Derozan. If theres anyone who could make me one, i'd greatly appreciate it.
  8. Although I just joined the board a few short weeks ago, i'm still very happy to see the board has been up this long and has stayed active with atleast its veteran users.
  9. All comments are welcome. Let me know what you think. And I know it's pretty short, but I felt I got the point across without boring people. Oh, and credits to Built Ford Tough for bringing it to my attention about Barg being first in the NBA in PPP and explaining to me what PPP means.
  10. http://blogimages.thescore.com/raptorblog/files/2012/01/137673943.jpg Bargnani is having an amazing season so far with career highs in PPG, FG%, RPG and APG. His defense has also improved significantly. He has begun to look like the allstar that the Raptors were hoping for when they drafted him with the first overall pick in 2006. Andrea has recieved a lot of critisism throughout his first five years in the NBA, especially from Raptors fans. Since being drafted, he’s been consistently labeled as a bust and a mistake. After last season, people were atleast convinced that he could be a top scorer in the NBA when he averaged 21.4 PPG. He showed a great improvement in his offensive game which was atleast something he could do. Now this season he is up to 23.4 PPG, good enough for 6th in the NBA. Looking at the stats, Bargnani is outscoring a lot of the top big men in the NBA including Aldridge, Bosh, Griffin, Lee and Stoudemire. Those are all guys who are considered as NBA allstars. His offense was never really the problem though. The problem with Bargnani has always been his defense. He has never been known as a very good post defender, or any kind of defender for that matter. He’s always allowed guys to easily score over him in the post and he was rarely a risk to block a shot. In 2011/2012 however, Bargnani has much improved his defense. His blocking numbers are still low at only 0.7 BPG, but his biggest improvement is in his PPP (Points Per Possesion). Bargnani currently ranks tops in the NBA in PPP. Raptors fans know that Andrea being first in a defensive category most likely won’t last, but even seeing him in the top 10 or 15 would be great. Last season, he was ranked twenty-third in the category. A lot of his defensive improvement has to do with Dwayne Casey, the new Raptors coach, who has preached nothing but defense since coming to the Raptors. Another major problem that Bargnani has always had has been with his rebounding. Being a 7 footer, you would think Bargnani would be a decent rebounder. Thats not the case. So when Bargnani only averaged 5.2 RPG last season, Raptors fans knew he was a liability when it came to bringing down boards. Especially considering he could only bring down 4.1 defensive RPG. That sure didn’t help the Raptors in their 19th ranked rebounding efficiency. Luckily he has shown an improvement in his rebounding this season. He’s upped his rebounds to 6.6 RPG. Plus his deffensive RPG is up to 5.8, which is nearly two more per game than last year. So far this season, I feel that Bargnani has really proved himself to Raptors fans and NBA fans alike. He is making it increasingly harder to criticize him for his mistakes, because he’s making so much less. If he can continue his output on the offensive and deffensive ends of the ball, it’s only going to be a matter of time until he is known as one of the premier talents of the NBA.
  11. Hello everyone. I was just wondering if there was anyone on this board who is talented using photoshop? I was a part of a hockey forum where there was a couple guys who were really good at making hockey player wallpapers. I know you can easily find wallpapers on google images, but I couldn't find any good ones for Russell Westbrook. Anyways, i'm not necessarily just looking for a Westbrook one, i'd just lie to know if theres anyone on here that makes them.
  12. Whats Flynn like? I don't know much about him other then hes a young PG. Is he any good?
  13. Is this acounting for opposing players shooting %? I'm not fully sure what points per possession means exactly.
  14. I think Gasol will be the first one out the door. If they have any sense they should not trade Bynum, and no way Kobe will leave obviously. Those guys are the really only players with a good value.
  15. Him getting 32 minutes is good. Is there a reason Colangelo and Stefanski were at the game or was it just a random game they chose to go to?
  16. Al Jefferson, Andrew Bynum and Demarcus Cousins are all no doubters. You could also say Marc Gasol. No offense to Jordan, but I think an All-star centre should have more then 8 PPG.
  17. Wow. I'm pretty shocked about this. Did he really have to defend any good players before his injury though is my only question? I don't remember us playing any good teams really.
  18. I'm going to say just Paul and Griffin. Jordan is a great player but I can name atleast a few centres who deserve it a little but more.
  19. I doin't see any of these guys giving up anything like that to get Paul Pierce. He's long past his prime. Like seriously Josh Smith, Rudy Gay, Danny Granger or Paul Millsap w/Kanter? All of these guys for the most part are still a young age and still have good years left in them. Any of those teams would have to be high to make any of those trades.
