  1. Agreed with pretty much everything you said. What section were you sitting in btw?
  2. I think they overpaid, but really did anyone expect them to not over pay? He's a fan favourite, and the Raptors knew they had to pay him to stay. I'm alright with the deal. Sure he's getting paid close to the same as Curry, but Curry is also one of the most injury prone players in the league.
  3. That was a very exciting game to be at. Crowd was loud and into it most of the night. I like how we played for the most part, but there was some bad spots to the game for sure. Barg's defense on David West in the 4th was awful, and Landry Fields was a joke to watch. If this is what we're going to get used to seeing from Fields this year, then wow. What a waste of money on him. He [expletive]ing sucked tonight. On the bright side, Lowry was phenomenal. He came close to a triple double which was awesome. Valanciunas also played really, really well for his first NBA action. He was great at grabbing offensive boards and grabbing those hustle buckets. Derozan struggled most of the night, but his ally-oop was sick. Overall it was a solid game, hopefully we can improve on this game and be better for Saturday against Brooklyn.
  4. They have Brandon Wright listed as starting C? I thought I heard news they made Eddy Curry starter? Either way they're [expletive]ed. lol
  5. Lol I like how they ask Allen after the game about KG ignoring him. I think he answered it well though.
  6. http://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_mcqki9Zqbv1qcstv7.jpg lol come on now.
  7. I know for sure I'm getting put asleep when I have mine done. And I didn't really know about having to clean out the holes in the back of my mouth. Ew.
  8. Boston letting it slip away. Ray Allen making a big impact for the Heat. I stand by my prediction for 6th man of the year
  9. Shiiiiiit thats going to suck if he misses the game. Luckily we have good depth at PF.
  10. Anyone ever had their wisdom teeth removed? I'm getting them taken out next week. Don't fully know what to expect.
  11. Hey, maybe I'll see you there! :glasses:
  12. Another tough matchup against Pitt. Thank god we're at home for this one.
  13. MVP: Matt Ryan Offensive MVP: Arian Foster Defensive MVP: J.J. Watt (I wanted to say someone else to be different, but I couldn't really find anyone else that was deserving) Surprise Team: Vikings (I thought they would lose the division by a mile) Disappointing Team: Eagles, Panthers, Lions Disappointing Player: Cam Newton Offensive Rookie: RG III Defensive Rookie: Chandler Jones Coach of the mid season: Leslie Frazier (Vikings) Comeback Player: Peyton Manning Also like to add I had no idea that anybody was considering Eli for MVP. I'd be ecstatic if he won it, but to be fully honest, coming from someone who has watched every Giants game, he may not be the most deserving. He is the main reason we are in the spot we're in but I think the defense has been to big of a part of our success that Eli probably shouldn't be the MVP. Just my opinion. Also considering what Matt Ryan has done for the Falcons so far.
  14. Shit Phig that sucks. I hope you have insurance coverage for that.
  15. http://sphotos-c.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-prn1/22625_10151294594850921_2055326498_n.jpg This is in Manhattan. Wow
  16. I'm in two leagues. One I really like my team, the other I like my team but I'm not as confident with it. My first team has: Tony Parker Eric Gordon Carmelo Anthony Tim Duncan Chris Kaman Demar Derozan Deandre Jordan Ed Davis Jarrett Jack Corey Maggette Moe Harkless This league has 20 teams so I think I did a pretty good job with it. The lineup has 1 slot for every starting 5 position, and 5 bench spots (Harkless is on IR thats why I have 11 players). It was an offline draft and you had to choose one team that you started with your choice of player from that team. I chose the Knicks and Melo. My second league I have: Kyrie Irving Demar Derozan Brandon Roy Chris Bosh Tim Duncan Tony Parker Paul Millsap Kenneth Faried Jason Terry Bradley Beal Andrew Bynum Jonas Valanciunas Jared Dudley Andre Miller Kirk Hinrich The lineup is 1 spot for each position, 1 extra guard spot, 1 extra forward spot and 3 UTIL's and 5 bench spots. It was a regular online draft. EDIT: Also forgot to mention the 2nd league is a keeper league from last year. My keepers I started with were Irving, Parker, Bosh, Derozan, Bynum and Millsap I think.
  17. I'm going to assume you didn't see the first quarter. The Giants had multiple opportunities where they were given the ball on Dallas's side and they were unable to get more then 1 TD. I don't see how you can say Dallas should have won by double digits after seeing Romo throw 4 picks.
  18. Lol its even going to hit me up where I live. They said that power could be out for over a day by Wednesday.
  19. I know that you can't expect a player to play the same in the regular season as they did during preseason, but just from the preseason, John Lucas's 10.6 PPG on a 50% FG in 18 MPG with 3.3 assists has been pretty solid. Although he does jakc up a lot of shots, as long as he's shooting well, I don't think you can really count that against him that much. Once I see him start missing, then I'll change my opinion.
  20. I would have said the Timberwolves before Love's and Rubio's injuries. But with their two best players missing significant time, I don't think they will make it. I think the Blazers have the best chance at the playoffs of the non-playoff teams in the West.
