  1. Have they talked about the covers at all yet? I know NHL 13 has been doing voting for awhile now and they both come out within like a week of eachother I think.
  2. Ok, seeing the replay changes my mind. When I was watching during the game, it looked like he had his head turned the whole time. Kind of sucks for PHX that he ended up getting tossed, but i'm not blaming the refs for doing it. At game speed I thought it was a pretty dirty hit too.
  3. I agree with you that he's got some arrogance and cockiness. I like his emotion though. I think it really shows that he's going to grow up to be a great teammate and leader in the coming years.
  4. i'm happy with the 4 games + fine. I'd say thats fair. I did expect more though.
  5. Lol Marchand isn't even the only cocky, douchebag, arrogant player one of your favourite teams have. Ochocinco and Seguin are a couple. And isn't T.O. one of your favourites?
  6. I'm pretty sure he didn't turn at the last second, and i find it pretty hard to believe that he would purposely turn so Doan would run him from behind.
  7. You mad? I bet you'd love him if he was on your team.
  8. lol yeah ok there. He's actually just a very emotional player who got absolutely [expletive]ed over by the ump in the bottom of the 9th, down by one run. I admit he clearly let his emotions get the best of him, but he's no arrogant bitch.
  9. http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-8xkwqgnxnOY/T7MJKD0wgmI/AAAAAAAAD3Y/NUkLPbSH2vA/s1600/Lawrie-Smash.gif lool and heres a fan throwing a beer at the ump after the game http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5032/7206878774_ff843a155f_o.gif
  10. I was pretty sure the Yankees have a much bigger fan base than the Mets, same with Rangers over Isles/Devils and Knicks over Nets. Bt for some reason it always seems like the Jets get more media attention or something, so it seemed like they have equal to or even bigger of a fan base.
  11. No kidding about this PHX/LA game. That hit by Doan was dirty.
  12. Well, pretty crazy finish to tonights game. Lawrie has a 3-1 count, and their pitcher clearly throws a ball, but the ump calls it a strike. You can tell Lawrie is pretty pissed off about it, but he goes back up to the plate. Then the next pitch, which is also clearly a high pitch and should be called a ball. The ump calls another strike, and Lawrie absolutely loses it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-2MLo3YG7e4 Here's some of the fans reactions on twitter to the call: http://www.cbc.ca/sports/baseball/mlb/story/2012/05/15/sp-blue-jays-brett-lawrie-fans-react.html
  13. I don't live in New York, or anywhere really near New York, but aren't the amount of Giants/Jets fans about a 50/50 split? If thats true, and say the Giants had home field advantage for a playoff game. Do you not see a chance of them saying on their twitter to not sell tickets to anyone other than Giants fans or something? After I typed that I realized the Jets and Giants couldn't play each other in the playoffs unless it was the superbowl... so I guess that example doesn't work.
  14. I'd probably do the same if I were the Devils. It's kind of funny that they're doing this, but very understandable. Might aswell do everything you can to try and keep home ice advantage against a much bigger fan base that is only a short drive away.
  15. Holy shit...All that money just because he's Spanish or am I missing something?
  16. Love that most improved player of the year award. Shows how well he's developing. Utah probably regrets picking Kanter over him
  17. You're probably right about the 0% chance of getting Lin out of New York thing. He's a RFA, so the only way they could get him without trading is signing him to the max offer. And you know the Knicks would just match the offer anyways. As far as trading, there would be no point. It would take Derozan+ probably. No point in doing that for the Raptors. With the Nash thing, I'm really not sure what to think about it. Its hard to say. I don't think the whole idea of coming to Toronto just because he's Canadian and TO is in Canada argument isn't very valid IMO. It's not like Steve will be coming back home. Hell I'm pretty sure Phoenix is closer to Victoria, BC than Toronto is. Only way I see it happening is if he doesn't get any other serious offers from potential contenders, which in all honesty, is not going to happen. Dragic is an interesting choice. He was unreal in the latter half of the season when Lowry went down to injury. I picked him up on my fantasy team, so i know first hand that he was putting up some great numbers. I believe he was averaging close to 20ppg and 7-8 apg. This signing would most likely drive Bayless out of town though, and i'm not a fan of that. I still have hope that Bayless can play consistently like he did during that stretch in the season where Calderon was hurt.
  18. I like your reasons. I think this is going to be one of the best series of the playoffs, and whoever wins this one will probably go to the finals imo. I still think OKC comes out on top though.
  19. http://www.fanfeedr.com/nba/ny-knicks?id=44cfef24-8455-580c-9277-be42eaeeba74 Glad to hear that they have interest, but like it says in the article, its a pretty low chance that it will happen. We'll see.
