True lol. Has Tims not expanded to New York yet? I know they have expanded to some of the US. When i went to Buffalo for a Bills game like 2 or 3 years ago they were one of the official sponsors of the Bills and they were selling Tim Hortons coffee at the stadium. I figured by now they would be in New York.

Edmonton wins the lottery and ends up with 1st overall pick for the 3rd straight year. Columbus just can't catch a break.

Leafs don't win the lottery, so we end up with the 2nd overall pick. Not bad. Hoping for Galchenyuk probably.

I thought negatives were a good idea until i went through and read this thread. Probably just better to leave it out. We know that sometimes on here, discussions turn into full out arguments, and when those arguments start getting personal, the neg feature would just be abused. Another note, somebody mentioned if there was a possibility to make it so you can only give positive reps in the actual basketball parts of the site and not the off topic part. That would probably be a good idea so that positive reps don't really get misleading. What i mean by that is that someone could have the most reps on the site just because they might be "the funniest" or maybe post the best GIF's or something in the random thread, and they don't have any positives on any of their posts in actual basketball discussions. Just a thought.

It might be a bit surprising, but I personally am absolutely pumped for the Nashville vs. Detroit matchup. Detroit is such a good team every year, and Nashville has really improved a lot from last year, and at the trade deadline they showed they're going all out for the cup this year. I'm cheering for Nashville this season.

with the loss last night, the Leafs are tied for 5th last with Anaheim at 80 points. I'm not sure how the standings work, but the leafs are placed below Anaheim on NHL.com, even though they have more wins. I'm hoping they have it right and that we are in the lottery.
