  1. Hickson is the player they want to move the most (Click Here) He isn't very good, but he's a project that's still on his rookie contract. He won't be our starting PF (Lewis will move to PF), nor is he our long term solution at the position. But he's someone we can develop, or just simply let him expire whenever his contract is over. I'm looking more at their picks and Anthony Parker (because of his expiring contract and his ability to spot up at three to help Wall out). Who knows, maybe they end up throwing Powe into the mix. But that's not the only scenario we should be looking at. I came up with a deal that sends Blatche and Thornton to Sacramento for Carl Landry and Casspi (both players that are on the trade block). I know they want a PG in return to give Evans some help in the backcourt, but it isn't possible because Grunfeld has a man crush on our only PG not named John Wall. He's a headcase. We're trying to rebuild, we shipped out one headcase (Arenas), and now have another on our hands. We want a clean slate here, and develop a new nucleus. Blatche is terrible on defense, he's an average rebounder, and doesn't know how to play like a big man. He stands at the three point line, waits for the ball (it will be passed to him because he's our only capable offensive weapon outside of Nick), tries to cross up his defender, and ends up either getting it stolen, or tosses up a prayer. This is not to say he won't break out and become a star. I fully believe he has the ability to, but it won't happen in DC. He either needs to change his mentality and accept the role of a big man, or he will end up as a first option putting up big numbers on a terrible team.
  2. Definitely, this scholars program I'm looking at is essentially a full ride for 2 years and guarantees me admission into most top schools in the country.
  3. I hope to God we are able to trade Blatche to the Cavs. And really, he has a manageable contract and could have a breakout year...it's just not happening in DC. I don't know if the front office is looking at possible deals, but I'm assuming we want a pick or two, or maybe a guy like Hickson, Parker, or Varejao (not sure if the Cavs want to ship him out though).
  4. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g_mdDBjpNME I will never forget this.
  5. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=mc-perkinsceltics010311 Perkins has always been a confident guy, but I like what he's saying. As for his FA situation, I don't think there's any doubts that the C's want to bring him back, so I expect him to be suiting up for Boston for a long time.
  6. Going with the Packers in this one (so I can keep my Super Bowl prediction alive). If anyone has the defense to stop the Eagles offense, it's Green Bay.
  7. New Orleans will win in a blowout, this is essentially a first round bye for them.
  8. As I said before, I believe Manning will come alive in these playoffs and put up a good fight. Colts are at home, I see them winning. Addai and Rhodes have been playing great for them lately, they have completely minimized the loss of Collie. Their run D has also been great, holding CJ to 39 yards on 20 carries yesterday. If they can do the same to Tomlinson and Greene and force Sanchez to throw, they should be in good shape to win this game.
  9. KC struggled mightily against Oakland's front four, there's no way they will be able to contain Ngata and Suggs. Yeah they're at home, but I don't see them even putting up 10 points. Baltimore should be able to win by a relatively large margin.

  12. Yeah a few. Maryland Baltimore County, Towson, Penn State, Virginia Tech, Virginia Commonwealth. Still waiting on College Park and a Scholars Program at my local CC. I'm hoping on getting into the Scholars Program since it's right next to my house and my dad can get me a job at his friends pharmacy as a technician.
  13. Never posted in this thread, but I had the Skins going 8-8 this year, so it wasn't a terribly wrong prediction... But I definitely didn't anticipate a year filled with drama and BS.
  14. FML, school starting back up tomorrow.
  15. Tony Dungy said it, the Rams just need to hand the ball off to S-Jax more. Only 7 carries at the half, that's not gonna cut it.
  16. Yeah I don't have much hope for my prediction, but since it's still alive I might as well stick with it.. But I actually believe the Colts have a shot at beating the Jets next week. Isn't Indy the home team? I just got a gut feeling that Peyton will put it together and make a good run in the playoffs.
  17. Actually, I'm changing my pick. Since the Packers are in the playoffs, I'll stick to my beginning of the season prediction, Colts vs. Packers.
  18. http://espn.go.com/blog/TrueHoop/post/_/id/23514/trade-talk-latest-on-kings-casspi-landry So, the Wizards are trying to trade Blatche, Kings are trying to move Casspi and Landry....please, please make it happen Ernie Grunfeld.
  19. We tried to get you all in the playoffs, we really did. At least we didn't screw up and actually win the game, 6-10 sounds much better than 7-9... Can't wait for the draft.
  20. Great, just when they were rolling... Hopefully it isn't season ending and the Mavs get healthy before the playoffs.
