  1. Best: Seeing the Wizards win the draft lottery, drafting John Wall, getting good scores on my SAT's, receiving acceptance letters from several universities, seeing LeBron lose in the playoffs once again, and seeing the Celtics put together a memorable run in the playoffs. Worst: My uncle passing away, seeing the Redskins fall apart once again, Gilbert's gun saga, and seeing the Caps lose in the first round of the NHL playoffs.
  2. http://cdn.blisstree.com/files/2010/12/McCafe-453x400.jpg I'm addicted.
  3. Pathetic performance by Blatche and Nick Young. Wall didn't have a particularly good game either, his midrange jumper was going for him but he had way too many turnovers (as did the whole team). Still haven't won a game on the road either... Terrible way to end the year.
  4. In other words, he's just trying to build some hype around it and won't enter as usual.
  5. The first spot is really a toss up. I'm generally more biased towards Nas, so I always list him #1, but that's not a knock on Pac. I've made these lists before in the past, and I always find myself switching things up, so I guess it all depends on my preference. 1. Nas 2. Pac 3. Big L 4. Biggie 5. Rakim 6. Jay Z 7. Eminem 8. KRS One 9. Big Pun 10. Andre 3000 My favorites are probably: 1. Nas 2. Kanye 3. Pac 4. Lupe 5. Mos Def 6. Eric B. & Rakim 7. AZ 8. Jay Z 9. Eminem 10. Fashawn
  6. That was hilarious, great end to the year for Inside the NBA.
  7. Gil and Redick's ability to be a play maker in the offense is giving the Magic an entirely new dimension. They are getting a very minimal drop off from the bench. Arenas is getting to the paint at will with teams reluctance to help off the shooters, which is helping them a lot. If the three is falling for the Magic, they are a headache to defend. Give this team a couple more months and this could bode real well for them.
  8. Caron Butler had a great game, but the Spurs were just too much. Gary Neal had an unbelievable game.
  9. Edited the title for ya. http://twitter.com/#!/celtics/status/20590043424882688
  10. http://blogs.thescore.com.s3.amazonaws.com/tbj/files/2010/12/DonteBTTF.jpg Donte Green is the new Biff Tannen... He knew the shot was going in!
  11. I think it's bigger than just that, there's probably more than just 2 teams involved.
  12. It didn't look too bad, they will probably just sit him out for a few weeks.
  13. Great win, John finally shook off the rust and looked great. I got the feeling that when healthy, he has the ability to get a triple double every single game. He's all over the court, he has the quickness to get rebounds, and scoring and passing come natural to him. Nick Young was great too. He missed a lot of shots, but he rebounded the ball and played excellent defense. Hopefully that defensive tenacity shows up every game for him.
  14. Hopefully we can get this win and stop this losing streak.

  16. Nate Robinson had the ability to make the transition from an immature chucker to a mature spark off the bench, Blatche does not. He doesn't deserve to wear Celtics green. Anyways, I think it's time we move on. Great point there by Aldridge. We gotta move him ASAP, it's the right thing to do. I think the fear of corrupting Wall is silly (hence why I was so reluctant at first to trade Gil) but if it is indeed the reason why we moved Arenas, it only makes sense that we do the same with Dray. We're trying to change the culture of this team, so we gotta throw all the bad seeds out. As for JeVale, he's just immature on the court, and that can be rectified. I would hate to see him go, he has loads of potential, and he showed it earlier in the season.
  17. Wow, Ed Davis with 17 and 12, this kid needs to start. Any reason why Amir Johnson is still starting over him?
  18. Well only 3 teams have ever made the Finals 4 times straight, and the West has had 4 years to catch up to LA.. Now teams are finally understanding what it takes to beat these guys. Kobe's hand may be bothering him, but man, he looked so frustrated out there. He got into George Hill's face for no reason (except to vent), he took ill advised shots, and reminded me a lot of the 2005 Bryant that we all loved to criticize. At the beginning of the game you could see that he wanted to win this game, and wanted to dominate. He started off 4-5 from the field, but then went 0-13 from the field after that if I remember correctly. Everything fell apart for the Lakers in that third quarter, and he didn't do anything positive to help out the team. The team is just so dysfunctional right now, I know Bryant can't do everything himself, but he's gotta take better shots than that. It goes back to Doc Rivers' philosophy, trust your teammates. The offense is fine IMO, they just need to settle down and let Gasol work down low. The stats don't lie, when Kobe shoots under 20 or so shots a game, they have a winning record. Get Pau established early and control the momentum of the game. It's easier said than done, but really, what's the difference between this years squad and the championship team from a year ago? It's just a matter of finding their rhythm offensively. And I couldn't believe Fisher actually walked all the way to the halfcourt line just to confront Richard Jefferson... What a frustrating night for the Lakers.
  19. I had to bump this thread after watching the Lakers-Spurs game tonight. My God, they (Spurs commentators) have to be one of the worst in the league. They literally have an orgasm after each point scored by the Spurs. They were also calling Odom, Mr. Kardashian throughout the entire game.. It's funny and all, but they're acting as if Tony Parker wasn't married to Eva Langoria not too long ago.
  20. Yeah the Pro Bowl is a complete joke, I wouldn't get too upset over it.
  21. That was terrible, it's amazing how difficult it is for the Lakers to score against good defensive teams. They had no rhythm at all the entire game, Kobe was just jacking up shots, and Pau did not assert himself at all in the paint. The Spurs defense was amazing, their role players played excellent, and DeJuan Blair literally manhandled Gasol in the post.
  22. He is back, just not starting yet. He's playing limited minutes right now. Today he looked great, played with confidence and looked like he had his legs under him. The problem is, we have no one who can step up and take charge of the game. Wall is too rusty right now to be our closer, and Blatche is just an idiot with the ball in his hands in the clutch. The main problem John is having right now is trying to control the tempo of the game, I always see him driving uncontrollably, trying to draw fouls, and overall is just trying to do too much with the ball. He needs to slow it down. Another tough loss on the road.
