Let's goooooo. Hopefully McNabb bounces back and has a great game. We play terrible on Monday Night in years' past, hopefully it all changes tonight. Huge game, we have a chance to stay undefeated in our division. Looks like the players are pumped for tonight, kinda got in a fight during the pregame.

I saw this extension coming from a mile away. Snyder loves McNabb, always has, and when he made this deal in April, it seemed pretty clear to me that he will be here till the end of his career. People thought he was done because guys like Shefter and Clayton and Mortenson kept stating that McNabb would leave for a team like the Cardinals and Vikings. Complete speculation, no truth behind it. The key to this deal is that there's a clause in the CBA that allows teams to allocate an in-season extension toward the current year's cap if it's signed before the 11th week of the season. Allen is just taking advantage of the no-cap year, should come to no surprise. I'm supporting this extension only because we've already invested so much into Donovan. We traded two high draft picks for him, and we weren't going to sit back and let him leave after one mediocre year. Yeah he hasn't played well, but he's still learning the offense and I do believe he has the ability to turn this year around. That and the fact that we have no QB to groom in the meantime, I see us drafting one 2-3 years down the road just like the Eagles did a few years ago with Kolb. This team is not rebuilding, it's looking to win. The organization is too hungry for a Super Bowl win to just give up on what could potentially be a contender if we just add a few pieces here and there. I've said it before and I'll say it again, get McNabb another good receiver and a better O-line and we will be a Super Bowl contender. Snyder has the money, that has been his motivating factor and what he's been known for, but it doesn't dissuade from the fact that he wants to win. All I can hope for is that the Front Office is wise when assimilating the best pieces to make us competitive every season.

Yeah, Ish has had some nice passes tonight on the fastbreak.

I never said they would make the playoffs, nor do I think they must win in order to keep Andre happy. This is a team for the future, a future that looks GREAT. They have a great base to build on, and that should instill some optimism in their fans. I don't understand why you're so frustrated... Did you actually think they would be going to the Super Bowl this year? Hell, even the playoffs should be a question mark coming into the season for this team.

Most of it lies on Kubiak, the rest lies on the terrible defense. Kubiak can be fired, the defense can be fixed. You really think Andre is going to demand a trade when he knows he has a top 10 QB throwing to him and a top 10 RB? This is still a potent offense that kills teams. You guys are sitting at 4-4, with a fairly tough schedule. It's not time to panic.

The organization does a good job at eying talent, you saw it with the Mario Williams over Reggie Bush pick, and you see it now with Arian Foster. They're going to focus on the defense this time around in the draft, hopefully they get some quality players. It's the secondary that's killing them, they give receivers so much space to operate, and they do a terrible job covering the deep pass. But they have a good D-line, their pass rush is great. Their flaws are rectifiable, it's just a matter of time. It also doesn't help playing in a division with Peyton Manning..

He has a good young QB, a good young RB, and a good receiving corps. He's locked up for 6 years, the Texans have a lot to build on. Bringing in a new regime, signing a few players, and having a good draft will put them in the playoffs. Andre knows that, the team knows that, it's just going to take time. I highly doubt Andre asks for a trade.

Cowboys looking like they actually care.

Wow what a letdown defensively. Damn.. Imagine if that was Braylon Edwards...
