  1. I guess we will have to agree to disagree. I understand your side of the argument completely, but I just want to see the league be a little more careful about what they call, and am pretty tired of all these injuries affecting the decisions of refs.
  2. I'm arguing that the call was BS and the rule should be re-evaluated. There's a difference between a defender leading with his helmet and intentionally hitting someone and a defender leading with his shoulder. The league cannot be throwing the flag every time something goes wrong.
  3. Why not? Did it not lead to an eventual Colts TD? That fumble could have been huge for the Eagles, and a huge momentum changer for the Colts going into the half.
  4. You guys aren't getting it. Yeah it was helmet to helmet, but what could the defender do about it? You can't penalize someone for trying to make a play on the ball, that's just not right.
  5. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kufy7Q1FVSA So it was a helmet to helmet hit. The problem is though the defensive player wasn't leading with his helmet or trying to use it in an aggressive way. The first hit on Collie caused him to spin and him turning caused what would have been a shoulder-to-shoulder hit into helmet contact. You can't hold defensive players responsible for that kind of play, if you do you may as well make a rule that no contact is allowed above the waist.
  6. Giants are the best team in the NFC.
  7. Idk man it seemed to me like the Philly defender got Collie with his shoulder, not his helmet. I'll probably have to see it a few times, but from the replays that I did see, it looked like a clean hit. And how do the refs call Collie defenseless? Complete BS there if you ask me, he was running with the ball clearly in his possession. I really hope Collie is ok and this is all precautionary, but that being said, that was a clean hit and a turnover that they just wiped out. I honestly don't care because it's the Eagles and any time a call goes against them I laugh, but as a fan of the game in general, that was a clean play.
  8. I think the hit was clean. I didn't see helmet to helmet. Just a hard tackle. The Eagles bench is livid. Also, that looks like that was, indeed, a fumble. As much as I hate to say it, the Eagles got hosed on that call.
  9. McNabb threw for over 400 yards against the Texans...yeah they're secondary is terrible.
  10. Makes me feel a little better about losing to the Lions last week.
  11. Manning is also known to run his own offense and does a better job developing his receivers.
  12. Colt McCoy possibly leading the Browns to yet another win. One against the Saints, and now the Pats.
  13. 1. Miami HEAT – Chris Bosh – 13.0 points, 6.4 rebounds per game. 2. Milwaukee Bucks – John Salmons – 8.0 points per game 3. Orlando Magic – Rashard Lewis – 8.7 points per game 4. Philadelphia 76ers – Jason Kapono – 1.8 points per game 5. Denver Nuggets – J.R. Smith – 7.8 points per game 6. Phoenix Suns – Channing Frye – 5.5 points per game 7. L.A. Will Chris Bosh get it together and play at an all star level?
  14. Don't think it's real, but I wouldn't be too surprised if it was.
  15. He might be the best SF on our roster, but Al Thornton has been playing great so far this season. The battle for the starting position is closer than one might think. I just hope he doesn't rush back, he needs to take his time.
  16. Mo Williams always kills us. He played a terrific game last night. Armstrong was downright terrible last night. He doesn't know how to boxout, he missed a bunch of defensive assignments, and committed a few turnovers early on. Wall had a solid game, but nothing spectacular. I love how he gets everyone involved though, he did a great job of finding Al and Dray for easy buckets. Gil still hasn't figured out his role yet. He needs to get more acclimated with the catch and shoot, after making that three early on in the second, he went ice cold going 0-7 from the field until finally hitting a jumper in the fourth. Dray was finally aggressive, he did a great job of rebounding. Same goes to JeVale.
  17. Chris Bosh with 1 rebound in 31 minutes....
  18. HIGHLY doubt we trade any draft picks for Arenas. Ted Leonsis wants to build through the draft and values every pick we have, if anything he would be looking for picks in return.
  19. - Hinrich should sit, Gil should start - Blatche is still not in shape, he ran out of gas. he should’ve come out earlier - Wall had a mediocre game, seemed like he pounded the ball too much. - Flip kept Blatche and Hinrich in the game for too long. Poor substitution patterns - Nick Young was flat, most players carry good games over to the next. Nick never does.
  20. [expletive], they aren't showing the game on TV because the Caps are playing....looks like I'll be watching from a stream.
  21. Jim Brown Walter Payton Barry Sanders Gale Sayers Emmitt Smith I still think Walter Payton is the best back ever (and the greatest player ever), but oh well.
  22. Very good to hear, probably the only time I ever root for LeBron is when he's playing for Team USA.
  23. GIl is finally going to play tonight....not sure if he will start though. I actually would rather see him come off the bench till he's 100%. Excited for the game tonight.
