  1. It's still a process though... We drafted 3 big men in order to toughen up the roster, so you know there's a change going on in Washington. Slowly and slowly the personnel is changing here, it's just a matter of time really. Blatche showed us some good signs late last year, and I think is just struggling to find his niche with a completely different roster. We know he can get into the lane and play in the paint, he just hasn't shown us that in the 2 games he has played this season.
  2. I should become a GM. Read more: http://www.realgmfootball.com/src_wiretap_archives/19092/20101102/jamarcus_russell_audtions_for_redskins/#ixzz149j986ho http://www.clublexus.com/forums/attachments/sc-400-300/173965d1273647601-can-22-rims-fit-on-a-1992-sc400-stewie-gun-mouth.jpg
  3. Either way, it's pretty close. Jameer Nelson gets $7 mil. Mo Williams $8.5 mil. Devin Harris $9 mil. Do they really think Mike Conley is in the same category as those guys? And wasn't OJ supposed to move to the PG spot? What happened to that? Completely stupid move by the Grizzlies.
  4. Gilbert not going to play tonight But John Wall is in even though he has a sprained ankle. Hopefully Blatche becomes more aggressive tonight, we need him to attack the basket more.
  5. Haha great intro man, welcome to the site. Hope you stick around.
  6. I'm going to cry if I hear that the Redskins pass up on him.
  7. Still not understanding how he's worth as much as Tony Parker....talk about being overpaid.
  8. picked off and returned by Hayden, huge play.
  9. Probably has to do with his history with Moss during their season in Oakland together.
  10. Doesn't seem like it matters... http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/39957679/sports/player_news
  11. Once again the Patriots come off looking like geniuses...because that's exactly what they are. The only teams in front of the Redskins (1-14) that I see MAYBE taking a shot at Randy Moss: 1. Rams - They could become a playoff team with Moss, and would generate a ton of excitement amongst the fanbase. 2. Arizona - Similar situation to the Rams 3. Jacksonville - Not really a likely scenario since they already have Sims Walker, Thomas, and Lewis, but they need to keep it close with all the talent in their division. 4. San Diego -They could end up cutting Jackson, making Moss the main guy. They have the best offense in the league, Moss would like it. The other 9 teams ahead of the Skins are either out of the playoff picture already, too dysfunctional, or both. The only team that doesn't apply to those descriptions is the Raiders, who have already been with Moss, and we all know how that went... Then next up is the Redskins, who I think need Moss the most, and fit's the description of a team desperate for a receiver. Randy would help us out tremendously. Everytime you saw the Lions stacking up in the box, we would be able to throw a quick out route to Moss for 5-8 yards. Keep repeating that play over and over until they begin to back off. And instead of McNabb throwing at the feet of the players, just throw it up to Moss and let him grab it out of the air. That's a luxury I don't think I've seen in my time as a Skins fan. At the very least, please make a bid for him. We missed out on so many good receivers, let's not let this one slip by.
  12. First one was beyond terrible, so no, I'm not seeing this one.
  13. WOW, huge defensive stand by the Saints. Looks like the challenge was worth it.
  14. lol he does, he was posting pictures of them on his twitter.
  15. Pierce's costume is better: http://yfrog.com/b572qlj http://yfrog.com/55p2nj
  16. People will forget that Bill Walton was hurt a lot and ended up missing a ton of games early on in his career. All of that talk regarding him staying healthy and being a force down low came to an abrupt halt once he played the majority of the season, winning the MVP award, and leading the Blazers to a championship. Maybe the Walton comparison isn't the best one out there because he was not really healthy throughout his career (never played a full 82 games), but it shows that players can overcome injuries and health concerns. Once Greg plays well for the majority of the season, people will forget about all this talk. Oden still has a TON of potential if he can just stay healthy. A lot of teams will make offers at him over the summer if he has no major issues this year, and most teams will end up taking a chance on him by offering contracts to him anyway. He's worth a minimum of 5m per year. The Blazers will have to pay him a good amount of cash if they want to keep a potentially great center in Oden off rival western conference teams.
  17. Hardly even considered an upset, many people had the Lions winning, and almost every Redskins fan were not comfortable coming into this game. Just a pathetic showing by our offense and defense, topped off with Shanahan making a stupid decision by putting Grossman in the game. The results were so predictable, I saw Grossman coming in as a disaster from the get go. If you watched the game, you noticed the effectiveness of McNabb when he had time to throw the damn ball. When the Oline fell apart, we weren't able to do anything. What is the point in putting Rex in? He's not going to make a difference. Unless McNabb was actually hurt and couldn't come back into the game, Shanahan made his worst decision this season. Coaching was just terrible throughout the game. What were they thinking on 4th & 10? The Oline can't block, and the results were again, predictable. This game was huge for us, and we completely blew it. Our offense is atrocious. The whole system is based on McNabb hitting 40+ yard passes to stretch the D. When it doesn't happen, we get a 3 & out. Take the Brandon Banks kickoff return off the board and our offense once again puts up a handful of points. We were awful last week against the Bears, nothing seemed to have changed. And it really doesn't help with the refs calling the game like they had done today. I'm not going to make excuses, but that one play where Anthony Armstrong got cut off by the safety was a blatant pass interference, I can't believe the refs didn't throw the yellow flag.
  18. BRANDON BANKS WITH A KICKOFF RETURN FOR TD!
  19. OMG another TD by the Lions, wtf is going on.
  20. [expletive], missed the 2pt conversion. Now we're only up by 5.
