Yeah Mike is not only going to put up good numbers, he's going to be a fan favorite in Miami. All of the hustle, unselfish play, commitment to the defensive end (despite being an average defender), and ability to get rebounds will be huge for the second unit. And your first game of the regular season is against Boston, not Orlando.

I agree with this to a certain extent, but I do believe as a contender, you need some good on ball defenders (whether it's in the paint or on the perimeter). The Heat big three are all known to be help defenders, and not great on ball defenders.

On paper, I love it. Remember that the Pats have a very young group of receivers with guys like Tate, Edelman, and Hernandez, plus they are armed with the Raiders' 1st round pick, so they could very well grab a Julio Jones, AJ Green, or choose a running back like Mark Ingram. But, this is basically a signed confession from Belichick that they aren't trying to win the Super Bowl this year. Unless Sidney Rice is somehow involved in the trade, they're basically giving up on the season. The question is, are they trying to go younger because they know this atrocious defense isn't capable of winning them a Super Bowl this year? Their future is extremely bright, but Tom Brady isn't getting any younger. I'm not saying he's going to fall off anytime soon, but you have to take every chance you can get at competing for a ring.

Wow, this is amazing. Love the effects, the BG, and the render. Well done.

Wow that should be interesting, I thought Gil wasn't going to play because of his ankle.

Can't watch the game tonight so I'm recording it on DVR. Will give my thoughts on the game tomorrow.

His chances of being the starter is pretty slim IMO, I think Portis is finding his rhythm now, we finally have a decent line to give him chances to run for big yards, it's just a matter of him staying healthy. We have a good 1-2 punch at RB, I don't want to see any drastic changes until its' clear Portis cannot be a #1 back anymore.

Report: Seahawks acquire RB Marshawn Lynch
AboveLegit replied to Warren2ThaG's topic in NFC Conference Discussion
Julius Jones is terrible, Leon Washington is nothing more than a 3rd down back/kick returner, and Forsett is a good 3rd down back/change of pace back. Lynch is an every down back that can get the tough yards. Forsett is 198lbs, Washington is 203lbs, and Lynch is 215. Love the move for the Seahawks. -
LeBron James Gerald Wallace Josh Smith Dwight Howard Derrick Rose

I think Wall will have a fantastic season, he should be able to mesh well with Arenas, but I don't see him maintaining a high PPG. He's going to be much more of a playmaker and a great defender, while Blake Griffin will be a beast statistically. My vote goes to Griffin in a very close race.

Giants just want to injure anyone under center. This defense is nasty.

Wow what a huge mistake by Bradshaw....but I don't expect the Bears to go 99 yards for a TD, so I wouldn't be too worried.
-
He was going to get picked off sooner or later lol.
-
Lol, despite that being a roughing the passer penalty negating the interception, I had a good laugh watching that play.
-
Bradshaw is running all over the Bears defense now. Looks like they will score here. EDIT: TD Gmen.

Could be a concussion, they just showed the replay where his helmet slammed into the ground on one of the sacks.

Todd Collins is in!

The NFL record for sacks in a game is 12 and has been done 5 times: 1) Dallas vs. Pittsburgh, Nov. 20, 1966 2) St. Louis vs. Baltimore, Oct. 26, 1980 3) Chicago vs. Detroit, Dec. 16, 1984 4) Dallas vs. Houston, Sept. 29, 1985 5) NY Giants vs. Philadelphia, Sept. 29, 2007 Wiki answers ftw. :glasses:

I knew the Bears Oline was terrible, but damn....

http://blogs.bulls.com/2010/10/bulls-reach-contract-agreement-with-noah-sources-say/ 12 mill a year for him, that's what most expected of this deal.

It's only the 4th week of the season, but man is he impressive. I was looking at my twitter feed just now and was shocked when I read this: That's pretty damn impressive for a guy who probably no one outside of Houston knew before week 1. How good is he? Is he a top 5 back in this league? Do you believe he has the potential to reach elite status and be mentioned alongside Adrian Peterson and Chris Johnson?

Osi is an animal...3 sacks 20 minutes into the game.
