  1. Yeah I've been waiting a year for this, I cannot wait. From everything I hear, it's supposed to be the film that finally gets Leo an Oscar. I can't wait.
  2. Yeah that's my thinking as well, it surely seems like his recruiting plans for Miami isn't working. Him going to the Knicks is the next best thing. The East dominated the league in the 90s, the West dominated the last decade, I think the power is slowly shifting back East.
  3. Here's some of what they said to him: Chicago is daring LeBron James to play for the Bulls http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/blog/ball_dont_lie/post/Chicago-is-daring-LeBron-James-to-play-for-the-B?urn=nba,253378 Real clever approach to this, it may just sell LBJ into coming to Chicago. But I actually like Cleveland's pitch better, and the fanbase is supporting him greatly with the parades, gathering outside the building, etc. They were telling him how winning a ring in your hometown is the best feeling in the world, and they have a coach who has done exactly that.
  4. Yeah he's like Kirk Hinrich, just not as good.
  5. Yeah Mike is out of the picture now. But I heard you guys may use the rest of your MLE on Raja Bell.
  6. Update: Gilbert Arenas will wear number 9 next season Got it from the Washington Post. Doesn't matter or anything, but just thought I'd post it for the hell of it.
  7. Please no, the Lakers would be so dangerous with Mike Miller coming off the bench. He's such a willing passer, and is very gifted on the offensive end. Very solid defender as well, and loves to rebound the ball. He'd be perfect for the triangle.
  8. Wow, what is Colangelo thinking here? He's trying to rebuild, yet he invests so much into a player that is virtually the same guy as Ed Davis...what's the point? I feel sorry for Raptor fans.
  9. I think it's Bron and Amare going to Chicago with possibly a guy like Mike Miller. Bosh seems to be going to Miami now.
  10. +1 But I guess after the Vince Carter saga a few years back, Toronto fans are used to this.
  11. You still can take him off our hands, he isn't resigning with us.
  12. I'm surprised the Wizards haven't gone after him. I think he'd be better than Yi would be for us to be honest.
  13. Great move, absolutely love it for us. Gives us some insurance just in case Blatche isn't fully healed by the start of the season (can't imagine why he wouldn't, but just saying..) Gives us some depth at the PF spot, and more importantly, gives us another young guy who we can develop. We're not going to be players in FA this year, but Yi has an expiring contract as does Hinrich, so I'd imagine we might end up trading them for a valuable piece in 2011-2012. Love what the front office is doing.
  14. lol.... My first internet stalker.
  15. 1. John Wall 2. Greivis Vasquez 3. Paul George 4. Demarcus Cousins 5. Jordan Crawford
  16. It just won't happen with the new ownership. They want to build through the draft, basically modeling what Thunder managed to do in 3 or so years. They added three forwards in the draft to toughen up the team and add more Glen Davis type players. They want to change the mentality of our returning players (McGee, Blatche, Arenas, Young, etc).
  17. Wall, Turner, Cousins will be the best out of this class. But I have a feeling George will be an excellent player in this league. IMO, there will be 5 all stars (or at least close to it).
  18. Maybe the Lakers will select Jon Sheyer
  19. Horrible draft for the Wizards outside of getting John Wall. We were in perfect position coming into the draft, and we just didn't execute. Kevin Seraphin at 17? Some people had him falling out of the first round... He'll probably stay 2 more years in France (which is good for us financially), but we could have gotten James Anderson. I really wanted him at 17, it was the perfect fit. He's a big SG, I believe he's 6'6, would give us some size off the bench, and is one of the best scorers in the draft. Then for some odd reason we traded both our 30th and 35th pick in order to get Trevor Booker and some late second round pick... just horrible. First off, why are we focusing so much on PF's? We have Singleton and Blatche (and now Seraphin), so what was the need for Booker? Once again Ernie Grunfeld proves why he's horrible in drafting prospects.
