  1. Thanks for the support guys, you shall be seeing an increase in my activity here. Props to RD for helping me out a lot with BTA, and props to everyone who showed dedication to the site. Sorry if I let anyone down.
  2. Scola won't be coming to Washington, Morey won't let him go.
  3. Haywood would leave, I'm sure there will be teams in need of him, and he will receive a much better offer. Yao will be a Rocket for life, I'm sure.
  4. It doesn't matter, Morey won't be giving up one of his contributing players. All he wants to do, is trade Mac. I like this deal because we save ourselves from a financial crises. We have Ted Leonis about to buy our franchise, he's most notable for rebuilding the Caps into one of the top teams in the NHL, give him some cap space and let him work his magic.
  5. The chances are, you guys are making the playoffs. It won't be a lottery pick.
  6. Instead of trading for Kirk, why not sign TJ Ford? That seems like a smart choice for the Lakers...
  7. http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=ygr43ge Houston Receives: - Brendan Haywood - Mike James - Caron Butler Washington Receives: - Tracy McGrady - 2010 first round draft pick http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/64377/20100131/sources_wizards_rockets_discussing_deal/ Now with this deal I proposed, it clearly favors Houston, as they acquire two impact players that will help them stay in contention. The Wizards shed some cap space with this deal, they get a first round pick in another guard heavy draft, and they prepare themselves for a large rebuilding process. We also trade Mike James, who wants to be dealt out of Washington. I think it's a win-win for both teams. Thoughts?
  8. I don't understand why Doc Rivers didn't run more of those Rondo pick & rolls in the second half...It was working fine in the first, so why move away from it? I can't believe Pierce pushed off, he never does that. He would've made the shot regardless, he always hits those down the stretch of games...Oh well, Kobe hit an amazing shot, Ray Allen played great defense, nothing you can do about that. I knew Kobe would make it, I don't care who you put on him, or how badly he's shooting, he's the best player in the world, and it's going in. Just a cold blooded shot.
  9. Major props to you Wali, you've done a great job with the OTR youtube.
  10. I'll be posting some older articles I have written tonight.
  11. I'm not a great writer, but I'm going to sign up so I can get some exposure. I just registered with the same username I have on OTR. My name is Umair Khan. Thanks B I know how to use Wordpress, used it a lot in the past. I guess it's the same for this blog, if not, then I may need some help.
  12. Glad to see Pierce, Durant, and Rondo in the game
  13. Yeah I hardly hear Chenier or Buckhantz say anything negatively about the opposing teams, even during the playoffs against CLE. I love watching the Wizards on CSN, they have a great crew and have been together for nearly a decade.
  14. lol Caron Butler taking the last show for us? Maybe last year, but he's been atrocious this season... Give me Earl Boykins or even Antawn Jamison for the last shot, maybe even Foye when his jumper is falling.
  15. Damn I've been here since 2007, wow. Congrats OTR, this is a huge accomplishment.
  16. ^^ That and the fact that there's at least 3 or 4 players who deserve far more consideration that Tawn.
  17. Oh no, he's a lyrical genius. At bball, he's overrated
  18. How would he play under the Triangle though? It's a pretty rough transition midway through the season.
  19. I'm actually a bit surprised, I thought the Wizards would be higher. DC is a basketball town, it has been since Abe Pollin bought the franchise and moved it to Washington DC. We have so many fans, from DC, Maryland, and Virginia, plus all over the country, so we're at a slight advantage. I haven't look at any numbers from ticket sales, etc, but I'm still shocked.
  20. I'm going to have some fun at school on Tuesday. The Colts dominated, when Manning dictates the pace of the game, you can't do anything but watch.
  21. lol what? They are a game and a half (I think) out of first place. I love how people jump to conclusions so quickly, and it's the same people that constantly make horrible predictions.
