  1. It is a solid offer, but for them to not put Eric Gordon in the deal makes this deal a complete robbery. Like I've said before, you can't trade a superstar without receiving a star in return. The only exception to it is the Denver-New York trade because they received multiple proven young players. Aminu, while a talented wing, is a work in progress, while Bledsoe is far from being a quality PG. Regardless though, I agree that this is much, much better than the Lakers offer. The thought of the Hornets drafting both Anthony Davis and a guy like Perry Jones or Harrison Barnes is enticing.
  2. Ugh, the Hornets are still getting lowballed. I just don't understand the logic behind these moves Demps is attempting to make, Chris Paul is a top 5 player, you can get so much more out of him in a trade. Maybe Ujiri set my standards too high when he traded Melo out of Denver, but the 2012 Minnesota pick (which could be great), just doesn't suffice for me.
  3. Agreed, Boheim used him a lot coming off screens and cutting to the hoop at Syracuse, while in Minnesota, Rambis forced him to create for himself. I kind of don't want him to be apart of this deal simply because I want to see how he plays now with a good isolation scorer in Derrick Williams. And I don't like the fit in Houston because he would fall into the same situation he was in last season. I don't expect McHale to use him the way Rambis did but he would still be surrounded by teammates who can't create their own shot effectively. I do like that Houston is bringing in some young talent though. They could have a nucleus of quality young players on their hands with possibly Marc Gasol, Kyle Lowry, and Patt Patterson.
  4. Yeah because asking for 2 30 year olds is much more logical than asking for more young talent.. Gordon has to be involved in this deal, you can't trade for a superstar without giving a star up. I understand LA's reluctance to trade him, he's a budding superstar, but if you want a PG that could potentially allow Blake's game to grow and become more dominant, then you have to give Gordon up. Chris Paul will maximize Blake's talent like no one else in this league can, just the thought of that is scary. With a front office as corrupt as the Clippers, they need to bring CP3 in to assure Blake stays there longterm.
  5. Yeah that's his bread and butter, but that's all he can do right now. Not a great playmaker, and has no range on his jumper.
  6. This is incredible, I concur with what you said BFT, but I'm still absolutely shocked at how well Indiana is shooting the three ball. What are they, 8-12 from 3? That's crazy. And once again, this just proves to me Terrance Jones won't be a good player at the next level. More inconsistent play from, doesn't move around on offense, lackluster effort on defense. Just not going to cut it, and this isn't the first time we've seen this from him.
  7. This isn't working for you? It's working for me. http://www.firstrowsports.tv/watch/97137/1/watch-%281%29-kentucky-vs-indiana.html Anthony Davis picks up his 4th foul, wow.
  8. Kentucky resorting back to their old selves by playing one on five basketball...not gonna work against this motivated Indiana team. Terrance Jones is having an awful game right now... and still no sign of Teague. 16 turnovers for Kentucky as well.
  9. If you haven't been watching, I highly suggest you do now. Kentucky down by 3 to Indiana, Teague benched to start the half, I hope Indiana keeps it interesting.
  10. Agreed, he is an upgrade over Toney, that's one way to look at it. But that shouldn't be the reason you stay content with him as the starter.
  11. Like I said before, I fully expect Barea to be overrated after his performance in the Finals, it happened with role players before. And I've also said this before, in Dantoni's offense, you need a good passer, Barea is not one. It's fine if they sign him, but starting him would be risky.
  12. It didn't help that Dantoni preferred Toney Douglas over him either. Barea's role in this league is being a spark plug off the bench. He's a defensive liability, and is more of a change of pace guy than anything else. He's a good pick & roll guy and a solid shooter, but he can't run an offense.

  15. I thought the Mavs wanted to use the TPE in a deal for Dwight? I know there's a low chance of it actually going down due to a lack of young assets, but I thought they would at least try.
  16. Not saying it won't happen, but incarceratedbob is notorious for spreading false rumors on twitter. He has no credibility at all.
