  1. OKC's defense is so bad right now... 17 points for Dallas midway through the first, that's terrible. Perkins just doesn't seem comfortable in these playoffs, something is not right.
  2. Surprised you put Malone over Hakeem and Barkley (I realize Malone is better than Barkley, but I vaguely remember you saying how much you enjoyed watching Charles play).

  5. Ah, that's right, he was receiving a lot of comparisons to Tracy McGrady due to his size and athleticism, and his ability to shoot the ball. He's also been a great defender this year. Drafting D-Will would actually be a great move for them .
  6. Kobe's the greatest player I've personally followed throughout his whole career. I didn't get a chance to see Jordan till the 2000's (though I have seen a ton of games from his prime years and have read a lot about him). 1. Kobe 2. Shaq 3. Duncan 4. LBJ 5. Garnett
  7. Problem is, they just drafted Paul George a year ago, wouldn't make sense to draft D-Will. Hansbrough also showed a lot of promise near the end of the year and heading into the playoffs, as did Roy Hibbert (who I believe was the leading candidate for most improved player up until the halfway mark). Not sure who they are targeting with the 2nd pick.
  8. I knew Spo would make the proper adjustments tonight, he's such a great defensive minded coach. The Heat D are throwing so many different looks at DRose, it's clearly confusing him and making him uncomfortable in the offense.
  9. Chicago's offense has been so bad in the halfcourt, no movement at all.
  10. Good points, but why does Draft Express have Enes measured at 6'10? http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Enes-Kanter-5168/ And it's kind of ironic that Draft Express compared him to Kevin Love lol, I somewhat agree with that comparison, but I think he's a better scorer overall. Either way, it would be redundant having two players that have similar skillsets. The C and PF positions should compliment eachother rather than bringing the same skills to the table. And while Biyombo is undersized, who's to say he can't play PF and Love as the center (like he was all season)? Wouldn't that bring a different dimension to a team that desperately needs help on defense?
  11. On a 19 win team... Anyone who watched him last year in the playoffs.
  12. I also read that they're interested in Biyombo, who would be a much better fit next to Love than say, Kanter. A frontcourt of Love/Kanter just doesn't have the athleticism to keep up with other NBA bigs, and they're both relatively undersized (none of them are legit 7 footers). I would think the Wizards would be a nice trade partner, but they don't have any veterans worth talking about. I highly doubt Golden State would be willing to deal Monta Ellis (who's coming off his best season) for a second pick in a weak draft. Sixers seem like the most likely trade partner, they could definitely benefit from drafting Kanter or Williams (I'm leaning towards Kanter for them).
  13. Dirk has always been a great shooter, but what he has improved on so much is his ability to put the ball on the floor and has been more patient with the ball in his hands. Cuban has done a terrific job surrounding with him deadly 3PT shooters, which is why teams are so hesitant in doubling him. This is why he's been unguardable in the playoffs thus far. Amazing performance by him tonight, one of the greatest shooting performances ever.

  15. Barea really knows how to get to the basket, he has great instincts.
  16. Not sure what Scott Brooks is thinking, but he needs to make adjustments in game 2. There was absolutely no help defense on Dirk, they didn't front him, and he got all of your bigs in foul trouble.
  17. But, that's what I think is apart of the problem. There are too many guys that you can look at and say "Oh he will be good if he gets drafted to the right team" rather than definite players that can impact any team they're on. And let's be honest, this draft is no where near last year's in terms of overall depth and quality of talent. The players projected to go in the top 20 or so are the only one's that actually interest me, the rest is a crap shoot as far as I'm concerned.
  18. I've seen Dirk being fronted out of the post maybe once tonight...and it just happened a few seconds ago.
  19. Stern also stated that he didn't like the way LBJ made his decision, so don't think it's a case of Cleveland against the world here.. And Gilbert deserved to get fined every penny, I mean seriously, who types in Comic Sans anyway?
  20. And right away they exploit the weakest link, Marion with the And 1.
  21. OKC forced to go small due to foul trouble, this lead could keep growing..
