Spo cannot allow his team to play trap defense all game, it worked against Boston, but it won't against a much younger Bulls squad. He needs to switch it up and force his team to play better against the pick&roll.
-
I'm sure Miami will still take this to 6-7 games...and I still have them winning this series. Let's not jump off their bandwagon just yet. Spo will definitely make adjustments, as will LBJ and Wade.
-
Wow, that's definitely not Heat basketball.
-
You know your team is losing when Jamal Magloire is still on the floor with 7 mins to go in a playoff game.

Everything is dropping for Chicago.

Chicago's bench might be the biggest issue for the Heat this series..
-
They were not in their primes when they got together, nor were they free agents that decided to team up. Allen and Garnett left their respective teams with class, Bosh and LeBron didn't. I recall Pierce leading the Celtics to 24 wins, KG leading the Wolves to 32 wins, and Allen leading the Sonics to 31wins... Two completely different scenarios.

Miami just looks completely unmotivated... How did you not box out Deng when he went up for a shot?
-
Bulls have so many options on defense, this is going to be a great series. Those p&r switches with LeBron worked against Boston, but Taj and Noah are much quicker than KG and Jermaine.
-
Rose has one of the quickest moves I've ever seen with the ball.
-
Wade had Noah on him, and decided to throw up a floater...really? Watch some film on CP3 man..
-
I can't remember the last time Bosh drove to the rim like that off a P&R.

I'm hearing a lot of different opinions regarding this Memphis team. Some people are saying they should trade him because he's a ball stopper and limits the effectiveness of Tony Allen and Shane Battier on defense, while others are saying he will just add another dimension on offense and a legitimate closer to this team. What do you think? Should they use him as a trade piece this offseason and see what they can get for him (which will also free up space to sign Marc Gasol over the summer)?

Damn your graduation is early. Mine is on June 1st.

Big half for Bosh, he's the key to this series.

http://www.boston.com/sports/basketball/articles/2011/05/15/herren_wrote_the_book_on_descent_redemption/?page=4 Earlier in the year he stated that he wanted an extension from the Hawks or he'd demand a trade, so I'm not sure he would accept a MLE from Boston just to have a chance to win a title. Either way, let's see what happens, he would be a good fit for them off the bench, they need some consistency in their second unit.

Agreed, he has been much more comfortable in the offense this game. -

Great instincts by Harden there knowing Durant was behind him. -

Battier has had a real tough time covering Durant off screens, and those pick and rolls with Westbrook. Hollins should have made an adjustment and put Tony Allen on KD. -

Triple double for Westbrook. if anyone needed this boost of confidence, it's him. -

Man, Gasol is getting held a lot in the paint. -

To be honest, I don't trust anyone defending LBJ and Wade... just go with what's working. This current lineup has definitely played better than the starting unit. With the way the Heat play defense (scrambling, most likely double teaming KD), it always helps having that extra perimeter shooter. It also gives Westbrook lanes to cut and make plays off the dribble. -

What a shot by Harden, he's played great today. He can create his own shot and stretch out the floor, makes life easier for KD. -

Anyone else think Scott Brooks will start Harden and Collison against the Mavs or Heat? Teams won't be able to double on KD, and Westbrook plays much better.
