  1. Yeah this is my first year upcoming, so I really don't know what to expect. I'm only taking 4 classes in the Fall, one in the summer (Speech class, trying to get it over with). As long as I don't gotta wake up at 6am, I'm pretty content.
  2. Bout to DL it, Detroit State of Mind was sick.
  3. Just registered for classes this Fall, earliest one is at 10 am. :glasses:
  4. Love it, the design is awesome, and it matches what the Caps have right now. Wouldn't surprise me if they add a blue alternate down the road.
  5. Agreed, but at the same time, Boston's defense was pretty good throughout the game. They were all rotating on defense early on, clogging the paint, and were playing great transition defense. I guess they just got tired. It definitely helps having Perk in there, but I think if they were healthier, they could win this series.
  6. He did have a costly turnover late in the fourth.
  7. I see it happen way too often. I'm not trying to hate on him, but it does get annoying. I was reading a tweet just now, and it compared Bosh to Ron Artest's rough year in 2010 and how he took all of that criticism, and finally came through in an important game. Very similar situations, Chris deserves credit.
  8. Terrible game, no post presence tonight for Boston, and they lose. Garnett couldn't have played any worse than he did tonight, and it was a terrible decision to switch it up on LBJ on that final possession...they needed KG in the paint to box out Bosh. Props to LBJ though, a dominant performance from him, that three he had with Pierce in his grill was ridiculous. I would give props to Bosh, but I just can't stand him. Does he think screaming makes him tougher?
  9. Shaq is not mobile at all in the paint, LeBron is taking advantage of it. Gotta stop giving LBJ those easy buckets in the paint.
  10. Kobe? Really? He got it over Iggy, Allen, and Wade?
  11. http://www.hurriyetdailynews.com/n.php?n=kareem-abdul-jabbar-touches-racism-issue-in-documentary-2011-05-09 This just strengthens my support for the age limit, the NBA desperately need to keep it.
  12. Awesome news, Will hasn't had a quality film in a while. Can't wait for this.
  13. Great win for the Celtics, Garnett completely shut down Bosh in that game, and Pierce finally had it going offensively. It's going to be tough in game 4, they gotta carry over that momentum, but you gotta believe Spo will make adjustments and pressure the injured Rondo more. Delonte needs to be ready to play big minutes.
  14. Maybe it's just me, but I still feel the Lakers can comeback in this series... LA's defense is the reason they lost...again. Pau is playing 10 feet away from Dirk and is playing like Charlie V..no one on the Lakers are closing out on shooters down the stretch. Laker fans must really hate Peja, he always seems to be a nuisance to them. even when the Lakers have come out on top.
  15. http://solecollector.com/media/u/images/reebok-zig-nano-john-wall-white-black-red-01.JPG These are the new look John Wall shoes, I'm guessing the jersey looks something like it in terms of the color scheme.
  16. Good post. Bynum also didn't get enough touches. Everytime he touched the ball, it seemed like something positive came out of it. Why didn't he get enough touches? I stand corrected RD, you're completely right, but I fully support the idea of Kobe being a little more of a playmaker than a scorer. I don't care what the situation is, in the playoffs, one man will not win you games. What happens when Kobe's jumper isn't falling? Having that second or third option always helps. Phil was absolutely terrible last night. He kept Pau on Dirk in the last few seconds of the game, which resulted in a costly foul.
  17. The guy who created that video also favorited this on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-YWMby_z59s His video is filled with false information. He obviously does not understand the concept of Jihad and Sharia.
  18. A team with Kidd, Stevenson, and Terry as their primary defenders on Kobe should be getting killed everytime down the court. Coming into this series, I had thought Kobe would be attacking Chandler to get him into foul trouble. The stat is staggering, you have to attack the paint as a guard. But since the beginning of the game, Kobe thought he could hit everything, and that's not a winning formula for the Lakers. I know his role players weren't playing great, but it's no coincidence that they play better when Kobe is shooting less than 20 FG's and actually assisting on field goals. Charles said it best during Inside the NBA, Lamar Odom should be getting more than 15 shots a game, and he may even be better off starting. Like I said, Kobe was also the reason they were in it, so the blame cannot go on him entirely, but I didn't particularly like what he did last night.
  19. It's not that he's better than he was in the past or has been always playing this well (he hasn't), but he's playing smarter right now and is within the offense in Memphis. He's not taking ill advised shots, there's actually some focus into making the team better, something that wasn't on his radar before. No one is saying he's the best PF in the league from an overall standpoint, but right now, he's outplaying every power forward in the league other than probably Dirk (who has been the best PF this whole season and up to this point).
  20. Did anyone notice how many jumpshots Kobe took in that game? Joe Treutlein of HoopData pointed out that none of his 29 attempts were at the rim, and he did have 0 assists. Whenever Kobe is trigger happy, the Lakers aren't at their best. But of course, not all of the blame is on him, he was also the reason why they were in the game, but he's gotta be more efficient.
