  2. Longevity has nothing to do with what is happening right now.
  3. Some of these tweets are [expletive]ing hilarious.
  4. What a great day. To think, this happened exactly 66 years and 1 day after Hitler was killed.
  5. Well this sucks..we dominated a good part of that overtime, and we end up losing. [expletive]. We must win these next 2 road games to tie this series up.
  6. Yeah they did, but that was an amazing goal by Ovie. Thank God he made it. That's the second game tying goal Ovie has made in this playoffs.
  7. I really underrated this Tampa Bay team...ugh
  8. After game 1, Kevin Durant stated that Zach Randolph is the best PF in the league right now. Do you agree?
  9. I'd still take Popovich over him for the award, but congrats to Thibs.
  10. How many times do I have to say this... If Rondo doesn't play well, the Celtics won't win. It's as simple as that. If he dictates the tempo and plays aggressively, they will win. Despite a great performance from Wade, Bron, and James Jones, the Celtics were never completely out of it. That's a great sign for Boston. For the most part, the refs were solid. The ejection, I don't agree with it, but Pierce should not have been in that position anyway, he had no reason talking shit to James Jones. Stupid move by him, he knows better. Edit: Wade, Bron, and James Jones combined for 85 of the 99 Heat points. Their bench is still terrible, Celtics just need to stop turning the ball over and playing 1 on 1 basketball.
  11. Memphis pushed the pace against OKC, and as a result, the defense couldn't handle it. When Perk left the game, Memphis drove and cut in the lane, and when he came back in, Randolph took advantage of the mismatch with his midrange game. I think the Grizz were more prepared for this series because they came off a huge series win against the Spurs, while the OKC had come off a series against the defensively soft Nuggets. Big difference there. In order for OKC to win, Westbrook has to get on Rondo's level in terms of defense and pressure Conley.
  12. I'm really starting to believe this Grizzlies team can represent the West in the Finals...
  13. ...and the pressure isn't on LeBron? Your logic is beyond terrible. Every one of the big three has a ton of pressure on them, if anything, LeBron has the most because he's the best player in the game and has yet to win a ring. The Celtics knowing how to defend LeBron has nothing to do with this.
  14. And can you give me the number of 18 year olds that didn't pan out? I'm not going to go through this argument again because I end up repeating myself.
  15. Yeah I see LBJ having a huge series, but I think Wade struggles as he did in the regular season. As for Bosh, I think it helps not having Perkins in there, he should be able to play fairly well with only Garnett on him. I think most of the games go down to the wire, but as history proves, Celtics are the superior team when it comes to closing out games. And for that reason, the Celtics should be able to win it in 6 or 7. Rondo just needs to keep attacking the basket and finding ways to make the Heat focus on him a little more on offense. If he's hitting those midrange jumpers, the Celtics are at their best. Miami's frontcourt depth is really going to be exposed this series especially, and I'm confident that Doc will coach circles around Spoelestra. And Flash, there's no way Miami wins in 6, I can't see them beating the Celtics in Boston. If anything, they win in 5 or 7.

  17. Just drafted two more skill position players, Aldrick Robinson and Evan Royster. Not too upset with the picks, but like I said before, I'd prefer an OL. Either way, I hope these two contribute, Robinson is another speedy receiver that has good hands, while Evan is another prototypical ZBS RB, perfect for Shanahan's offense.

  19. Only question mark so far in this draft is Shanahan not targeting any Offensive linemen. We desperately need some depth there, and he has yet to use a pick on one. I'm pretty excited about Roy Helu, whenever Shanahan trades up to draft a RB, it's usually a sign that he's really high on them and thinks they can make an immediate impact on our team. That was a great choice, Torrain is always hurt, it doesn't hurt to have some depth in the backfield.
  20. Tough loss, these power plays are killing us, We need to stop committing these stupid penalties, the end of that second period just ruined the game for us. TB really knows how to play on the road..
  21. Great draft so far, Shanahan is doing everything in his power to make this team younger, couldn't be happier with all of the trades he has made. The Hankerson pick was genius, this kid has big play potential written all over him. He's a pretty big guy, can catch a high difficulty of passes, and has huge hands and a high vert. Kiper said he was a second round talent, which is excellent considering we essentially traded one of our seconds for him while picking up an extra few picks tomorrow. Jarvis Jenkins was also a great pick in the second round. I watched him a lot in college, he completely tore Maryland apart this season, and is just a flat out beast. I originally had him being a NT, but apparently Shanahan views him as a DE. Can't wait to see what we do tomorrow, hopefully we grab another receiver, and then draft a few O-linemen. CB is also another position we can look at.
