  3. 1. Nas 2. Pac 3. Lupe 4. Kanye 5. Mos Def It's always changing, but the top 2 are a lock.
  4. What a great game, congrats Packer fans! Can't wait till next year when Goodell is handing the Super Bowl trophy to Dan Snyder, and he proceeds by auctioning it off to the highest bidder. Just an incredible season for GB, no Jermichael Finley or Ryan Grant (among many others), and no Charles Woodson and Donald Driver in the SB, yet they pull out the win. What a resilient football team, props to them. Their showing this season and in the playoffs gives pause to people who constantly use injuries as an excuse, they had more than their fair share yet they still prevailed.
  5. Durant, but good comparison. With so many great up and coming PG's in the league currently, (and some in the NCAA who will soon make the jump), you gotta go with KD. Since both of the players do different things, they're going to dominate the game in different ways (assuming they both reach their potential), so really you can only make the judgment on who the better player at the moment (or who shows the biggest level of improvement), and since Durant is one step ahead of Rose IMO in their development, Durant has to be considered the better player at the moment with higher known ceiling. This might change as time wears on, but like I said earlier, this kind of discussion doesn't really favor Rose because his potential is a lot more speculative than that of Durant's.
  6. Great game for the Terps, we have now won 4 of the last 5 games, and Gary Williams ties John Wooden on the all time ACC wins list. Jordan with a dominating performance, he truly is getting better and better each game. He's improving his FT's and just looks so much more comfortable in the paint. Great to see. Pe'shon Howard had a terrific game as well, he made some amazing passes.
  7. A bit of both, I'd say more than half cheered for him, while the rest booed. Either way, JJ Redick got booed harder than anyone. [expletive] Duke. Anyways, another lackluster performance, very frustrating night for John, and he got kicked out of the game with 2 tech's late in the fourth (jawing at the official).
  8. Thank God, it truly would have been a travesty if he didn't make it.
  9. The only person he deserves it over is Duncan, but if we're going to replace Duncan with anyone, it's Kevin Love without a doubt. If he doesn't get picked by Stern, it will be a travesty. (I saw on Twitter that Nash is the most likely to get the nod).
  10. I guess it's based off of preference, and I know you can't go wrong with either of them, but overall Ray Allen is a better player in the clutch. The only reason he is viewed as high as he is right now is because of his "big game performances" but Miller in most big games flopped. He had plenty of big moments but he has lost most game 5s and 7s in his career and has lost most elimination games in his career. Reggie's teams lost in the first round of the playoffs 8 times. Ray has come up in more big games than Reggie has.
  11. I wouldn't say glorified, I think Reggie is a sure fire Hall of Famer, but he does get a bit overrated for his battles with the Knicks. Ray Allen is twice the player he ever was.
  12. I know he made it, I'm saying that Love deserves to be the one voted in by the coaches, while Duncan deserves to be the replacement. Love is having a much better season than Duncan. Not really, last year Stern's replacement for Brandon Roy was Chris Kaman, and we all know how bad the Clippers were..
  13. Love will probably make it as a injury replacement for Yao, although he shouldn't be, Duncan should.
  14. It is talent dude, no one outside of Cliff and Jordan are able to create their shot..it all ties back to talent. Yeah we have young players, but that's expected since we lost our seniors. We're a rebuilding team with some great pieces, Gary knows how to teach these kids and get the best out of them, he did it with Vasquez, Dixon, Baxter, Blake, etc, and he's now doing it with his next great talent, Jordan Williams. Both games against Duke proves we're able to "hang around" with the best, but are not able to close it out. Why? Because of talent. And the three point shooting was a problem for us last year as well, so it's nothing new. Hayes was the only one consistently hitting his shots. Vasquez was the playmaker that got to the rim whenever he wanted, and was able to finish with his trademark circus shots.
  15. Fell apart at the end, just not enough talent surrounding Jordan Williams, frustrating night shooting the ball.
  16. Last 10 games for Kobe: 32pts 41pts 38pts 21pts 18pts 21pts 21pts 27pts 27pts 29pts And he's only hit under 50%FG twice. Phil said that the guys need to start establishing position, demanding for the ball, and being more aggressive. Kobe clearly is in midseason form now, he got his shooting touch back now, so it's not hurting them as much when they constantly pass the ball around for 15 or so seconds, turning down shots, and just playing lazy. They shoot themselves in the foot that way and don't hustle because Kobe has been making his shots. But in a seven game series, that type of offense just won't work, so they need everyone else to step up. You can't rely on Kobe every trip down the floor.
  17. 10-2 run to end the half! That's Maryland basketball right there, hopefully we can keep the momentum in our favor.
  18. This is turning into a nightmare, we're missing so many layups, and clearly cannot match Duke point for point. They just have too many shooters.
  19. So far we've been playing much more aggressively, but Duke is hitting their shots. Gotta get some stops on D.

  21. Very excited for the Maryland-Duke game, going to be crazy. Expecting another dominant game from Jordan, by far the best big man between the two teams. With the way Duke has struggled with the three ball the past two games will only make this easier for us since we had a ton of success stopping them earlier in the year. Another factor is our ability to press, every Gary Williams team has been great at this, and Duke has struggled with turnovers, giving the ball up 17 times against St. Johns. Comcast Center will be rocking tonight, can't wait for this game.
  22. ACC picked up a ton of talent today, Clemson picked up two 5 star linebackers, and UVA and FSU had a nice class come in. Kind of upset Darius Jennings went to UVA, but I heard he had always wanted to go there.
  23. No contending team wants to take the risk by trading valuable assets away for Ron, and we all know how much of a ballhog he is on the bad teams from his days with the Kings. And then you have to mention his contract. Add it up and you have one of the most difficult players to trade in the league. I've heard the Lakers wanting to trade for Kirk Hinrich, but I can't imagine what the Wizards would be getting in return.
  24. Still shocked at how terrible we are. No Emeka Okafor in the lineup and we still are unable to take advantage. Wall had a mediocre game, Nick and Dray were the only one's producing in that second half.
  25. Why the [expletive] is Jason Smith owning us? And why does flip continue to use the 3 guard line up?
