Jeremy Lin vs. Michael Conley
Snap's Distinct Phelps replied to Snap's Distinct Phelps's topic in Player Comparisons
Conley takes what he can get. He isn't very big or strong, so going inside is hard for him because he gets so banged up. People don't realize he's about 6'1 with a light frame so he settles for jumpers. -
Jeremy Lin vs. Michael Conley

I kinda agree, but I think Conley doesn't have Lin's guts, Conley seems to just help out his teammates. -
Rockets Coaches: Lin Needs to Work Harder
Snap's Distinct Phelps replied to NomarFachix's topic in Houston Rockets Team Forum
Lin wasn't very good at taking responsibility. For example, he was cleared to play I believe for New York in the playoffs and I don't believe he did. However, if he did, I'm pretty sure it was later then it could have been. -
Waiting for 2K to update the Suns court so I can start my association.

Noticed it in the pre-season game. Luis Scola popped out towards the perimeter and hit an open three. If he can implement that into his game, how much will it help the Suns?

Kobe Continues to Ponder Retirement
Snap's Distinct Phelps replied to The Regime's topic in Los Angeles Lakers Team Forum
Kobe will retire whenever he realizes he can't win a ring in Los Angeles. Could be now, could be five years from now. I could see Kobe ring chasing on his own team for years to come. Kobe is not built for longevity to be frank with you, his body is torn up and he has seen his fair share of injuries. If Kobe was to stick around the Lakers for awhile, he'd defiantly be on the bench. That's if he doesn't pull a Memphis Iverson and get all defensive about being a role-player. Kobe has had an amazing career though. A fringe top ten ever player, hell you can even debate he deserved another MVP. Could he have had another MVP? Maybe in 05-06, but he was unlucky that Nash did so well holding the depleted Suns together that year, not in the other season's though. It's a shame he'll have to live with Jordan comparisons for the rest of his career, because Kobe is unlike any NBA player ever. -
Who's better?

Who'll end up with a better career?
Snap's Distinct Phelps replied to The Regime's topic in Player Comparisons
Wall has failed to developed a consistent jumper, but he has all the athletic talent in the world. Irving however, has developed a jumper, has better court vision, can takeover came and is very fast. -
So I've Been Thinking
Snap's Distinct Phelps replied to Cobb's topic in Feedback and General Support
The inactivity isn't anyone's fault at all. It isn't even the posters fault. The issue with the forum is that forums in themselves are dying. Most people nowadays are content with a two sentenced post on Twitter, Facebook , etc. Forums in general are way less popular than they used to be. Internet culture has changed a lot in the past few years. It will fluctuate soon, don't worry, when the season starts we'll get a SLIGHT activity boost. Oh, and maybe people who forgot about the site would benefit from a mass e-mail being spread out. Worth a shot. -
Deepest Team in the League
Snap's Distinct Phelps replied to Built Ford Tough's topic in General NBA Discussion
Before Frye was diagnosed with an enlarged heart I would have said Phoenix. Even without Frye, we've got depth. Having Shannon Brown, Wesley Johnson, Morris, Jermaine O'Neal (in shape with the German surgery) and rookie Kendall Marshall I think we are pretty set. Nonetheless, I'd say the deepest team in the league is the Los Angeles Clippers - Grant Hill, Billups, Crawford, Odom...they look real good. Real good. They have a TON of what-if's though, will Grant Hill bgin to show his age? Will Crawford be as horrendous as he was in Portland? -
Bold predictions for next season
Snap's Distinct Phelps replied to The Regime's topic in General NBA Discussion
It wasn't really a serious point. Just food for thought. -
Shannon Brown resigns with Suns
Snap's Distinct Phelps replied to The Regime's topic in Phoenix Suns Team Forum
So what happens when he retires? That's the one flaw in the plan. Don't put your team logo as the Lakers, cause you aren't a Laker fan, you're a Nash fan.
