So I support John Wall & make a million Youtube videos/mixes of him and come up with excuses for him when he plays poorly and he underachieves. Then I say he's trash & I give up on him, and delete all of the videos I made of him. Then what does he do: has the best few weeks of his career. -_- I should have never listened to David Falk.

Beal's play is not much different when Wall or Price is on the court, Beal was just getting used to the league. The game before Wall's return he lead the team to a win against the Thunder and hit a huge game winner. Wall's play is as up and down as a middle school baller. He sulks when things aren't going his way, but then decides to finally play D when he makes a couple of shots. He shoots 40 % from the field, regardless of the fact that he barely shoots 3s and his turnover rate is ridiculous. They would be better with any average pg. There are injury excuses and 'environment' excuses, but he's looking like a futrue bust. For now you can at least agree that he has highly underachieved.

Is he the real deal, or another overhyped Calipari player not ready for the prime time?

There is no doubt that the Wizards have been terrible as a franchise, but at some point you have to stop making excuses for the player. I have rooted for this kid, but it's way better to face facts & hope he is traded or let go when he becomes a free agent. Too bad the Wiz are stubborn & have had the same crappy GM for 9 years with nothing to show for it. I hope Bradley Beal doesn't fall victim to the decisions of the Wiz, because he is a Godsend. The best thing that can happen for Wall is for him to realize & accept the fact that he is not a star, and the only reason why he was the #1 pick was because it was a weak draft. He needs to improve fast before he becomes a journey man bench player.

I know it might seem like I'm being dramatic, but being a Wizards fan can be so frustrating at times. We took Kwame Brown #1, then 9 years later a player of Wall's talent gets taken number 1, but doesn't live up to the hype. I've supported him and made excuses for him, but he doesn't know how to play basketball. He turns the ball over at an alarming rate, he can't shoot, it seems like his range is getting worse every year. He can't dribble out of a double team, he can't finish with contact, and he plays at one speed. Also, he has NO lateral moves, his crossover is equivalent with that of a street-ball player. Nineteen year old Bradley Beal has to calm him down and keep him from getting 'down' on himself and this guy honestly believes he can be a HOF player. Also, Wall is prone to injury because of his reckless nature. He'll be lucky to play 4 more years in the NBA after teams realize he has no value. The Wizards passed up on Rubio, Lawson, Curry, and Holiday back in 09. What a shame! Jan Vesely is a total bust, Shelvin Mack is a D-Leaguer, Booker/Singleton are meh. Thank God for Bradley Beal. A mature kid who is humble and works hard. He'll be an all star in no time and JW will probably be jealous of him.

Top NBA PGs (Don't kill me, this is just my opinion)
AJFromTheDMV replied to AJFromTheDMV's topic in General NBA Discussion
Yeah, you can throw this list in the trash for me forgetting Curry. The only reason Nash isn't here is because I meant recent history, as in the last two years. I would have to put Jason Kidd on this list if I meant over their whole careers. -
The Wizards have knocked off some of the NBA's best teams, especially @ home.

Well looking back @ this post, Holiday is one of the most improved players statistically this season.

The Best Shooters From Each Spot

They also did the worst from each spot. Gallo is one of the worst from the other key & CP3 is thr worst from the top of the key. -
Create the most dysfunctional team you can
AJFromTheDMV replied to Real Deal's topic in General NBA Discussion
Pg Rajon Rondo Sg Tyreke Evans Sf Harrison Barnes Pf Al Farouq Aminu C Bismack Biyombo GOOD LUCK Making Outside shots. If being a starter didn't matter; Pg Nate Robinson Sg Kobe Bryant Sf Stephen Jackson Pf Josh Smith C Javale McGee Be prepared for locker room fights. -
Wade had some terrible possessions down the stretch yesterday.

Crawford is definitely a gunner, he is inefficient, but when he gets it going he's hard to stop. He's the Wizards wildcard. AJ Price is a shoot first pg, but he is good at taking care of the ball. I'm still really disappointed that the Wizards drafted Jan Vesely over Kawhi Leonard back in 2011. Vesely is not even in the rotation.

WASHINGTON -- For the first 32 games of the season, the Washington Wizards were a sorry bunch -- winning only four times. The comical comparison was the Washington Generals -- the punching bag for the Harlem Globetrotters. Not so much anymore. Emeka Okafor had 15 points and 16 rebounds, helping the Wizards beat the Chicago Bulls 86-73 on Saturday night for their seventh victory in the last 10 games. John Wall and Nene each scored 16 points for Washington, which has won consecutive games for the second time this season. The Wizards have won five straight at home for the first time in five years. "We are the team we thought we were supposed to be," Okafor said. The run began before Wall returned from a left knee injury, and now the injury-riddled team is healthy again. "We have back all the players. There is our team," Nene said. "We gonna shut up people's mouths. That's what we're going to do." Chicago (26-17) had won a season-high three in a row for the third time. Nate Robinson scored 19 points for the Bulls, and Joakim Noah narrowly missed a triple-double with nine points, 17 rebounds and 10 assists, which equaled his career high. "I think we got beat by a team that just played harder than us tonight," Noah said. "We played tired basketball tonight." Chicago dominated Golden State at home on Friday night, leading throughout the game while Washington (11-31) easily beat undermanned Minnesota for its 10th victory of the season. Two of the season's first five wins came against Miami and Oklahoma City, but in many ways, this was even more impressive. "As a coach, I'll take it against a high school team," Washington coach Randy Wittman said. Wittman, whose team was decimated by injuries early this season, pointed out that star point guard Derrick Rose has yet to play for the Bulls, and All-Star forward Luol Deng missed his fifth straight game with a strained right hamstring. "I've been there, but a win's a win," Wittman said. Wall, who started for the second straight night, has been the catalyst for the team's recent success. "It's not just me, man. It's never just me. I wanted to come in and be a spark for the team," Wall said. "I'm just doing a great job of getting easy shots for my teammates." The Wizards outscored Chicago 23-11 in the third quarter to take a 73-55 lead. The 11 points were a season low for the Bulls. Chicago had twice as many turnovers (six) as field goals (three) in the period. "I thought we played low energy tonight," Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau said. "You gotta get ready for everybody. ... When you start taking shortcuts, the results aren't gonna be good." The Wizards put together an 11-0 run late in the second quarter, holding the Bulls scoreless for nearly five minutes while building a 50-44 halftime lead. Washington outscored Chicago 10-2 to start the third and led 60-46 with 8:58 to play. Nene hit two more field goals and two free throws as the Wizards extended the lead to 69-51 with 4:28 left in the third.

Washington at Portland

Good pg match up tonight between John Wall and Damian Lillard. The Wizard have won 3 of their 5 games since Wall has returned. Portland come in with a 20-20 record, but they have lost 3 straight at home. -

Blake Griffin With Another Terrible Flop

Washington at LA Clippers
AJFromTheDMV replied to Real Deal's topic in Los Angeles Clippers Team Forum
I lost some respect for Blake Griffin last night, he was flopping all over the court. The Johh Wall v CP3 match up was fun to watch though. The Wizards still make too many mistakes down the stretch, though we are way better with J-Dub back and Beal's improved play. -

John Wall Will Return on Saturday
AJFromTheDMV replied to DunkinDerozan's topic in Washington Wizards Team Forum
Too bad the playoffs are out of reach. Still, he has to show considerable improvement since this is his 3rd season. -
The fact that he's in the discussion shows how far he'a come and how good he is.
