It's definitely the lockout, if you look at his first three seasons in the NBA 5 games combined.. the lack of recovery time definitely contributed to his nagging injuries. The 66 game compressed schedule was so detrimental to players like D-Rose.

Kobe was definitely top ten that year, for crying out loud he averaged 28 ppg with Shaq on his team. AI deserved MVP that year no doubt however. I don't think it was really KG and Duncan in 03, but more of Kidd and Duncan. I always thought Kidd should've won that year.. but Duncan was still a good choice. As for Kobe, he should've been a three time MVP in 06, 07, and 08.

He was nothing more than a distraction, Dirk, Kidd and Carlisle and JET, were consistently asked about him for weeks and months whether or not he was gonna return to form. Odom rarely gave effort and you could see it in his game.. it's a shame also.

I don't know about anyone else, but it seems like LeBron has rebounded quite well this season from "the decision".. I hated his guts more than ever before.. now i feel the sympathy towards him. It's hard to say right now, I wanna see who's hot in the postseason before I make the prediction. San Antonio in my opinion can beat the Thunder in a seven game series, but we won't see that till the WCF for sure. If anyone can knock off the Thunder before the WCF it's probably the Mavs, but that's a long shot. Thunder vs San Antonio is what I see.

Aside from Drik's rough start, since right before the All Star game till now he's been on fire, and back to his normal self, increased his scoring average by almost 5 points, and is shooting much better, he's the only reason the Mavs are still Top 5 in the West playoff picture. Just wondering, how is BG32 #3? He's having a pretty solid year.
