Hahahaha what the [expletive] why is there confetti falling? DId we just win the championship?????
-
Clanks 2 more jumpers in a row, then runs back half ass in transition, picks up a foul and turns this into an 8 point game. Remind me again why this [expletive]er is still on the team? Its bordering on hilarious.
-
This is the only way Bargnani should be used offensively, as a catch and shoot player. Sick cram by Demar though. EDIT: as Bargnani proceeds to clank a contested 14 footer.
-
I actually love watching Glen Davis play on offense. Its hilarious.
-
I hate that that is a tech. I get why it is, I just don't like it. God forbid these drones of players show emotion.

This is getting pathetic... honestly.

I actually really don't mind Ross. I feel like a lot of issues stem from confidence. When he is playing after making a mistake or two, or if the game is out of reach, he shows some flashes, he isn't second guessing and just making the right play. Has a sweet stroke, and his handle is actually not bad, its way ahead of where Derozan was as a rookie, or even last year. He has the makings of a great role player. Obviously Drummond is probably going to be the guy we look at and say '[expletive]....' about not drafting, but even if we did, he probably wouldn't have panned out here anyways. EDIT: not disagreeing at all that he was a reach at 8, but I think he is going to be a really solid player.

I'm starting to think I'd rather the Raptors start me at the 3. At least i can shoot.

Demar is making some really tough shots. Would like to see him get in the post a bit more. I guess as long as they are falling, keep taking em though.

Valanciunas just can't catch a break. Davis just ran into him no call. Also, speaking of Davis, he is so bad. Poor Orlando fans.

Andrew Bynum out until January
Check my Stats replied to Phightins's topic in Philadelphia 76ers Team Forum
Bynum will get a max offer. There is no question about that. [expletive], it wouldn't even surprise me if it was our dumb ass GM who did it (after clearing some space) -
Valanciunas fouls out on a typical bullshit call.

Ross is showing flashes. Bargnani needs to go. He's so [expletive]ing brutal, and he is a momentum killer on both sides of the ball. He has his place in an offense, it just isn't this one. He can't be the featured option, it seems blatantly clear to everyone except Colangelo, and Casey to an extent.

LOOK WHAT HAPPENS WHEN ED GETS RUN. Been a force on the offensive glass. It sucks knowing Rondo is coasting and if the Celtics really need to try to win this game, they can just turn it on in the last 8 minutes and whoop the shit out of us.

Hornets are so brutal. Wow. Edit: 3-3???? HOW???? EDIT2: Nice finish by Rivers. He needs to be able to finish with contact like that. -

When Westbrook does that thing where he jumps from outside the paint and still effortlessly lays the ball in, I just feel bad for the defense. Not much you can do about that, especially if you are a token white guy (Vazquez). If he gets even half a step there isn't even time for help to get there. -
Royce White prepared to walk away from NBA

Getting mad at someone behaving poorly as a result of a medical condition everyone knew about ftw. Agree he isn't worth the extracurriculars, calling him an idiot is kind of extreme tho IMO. -
Melky Cabrera now too. Hopefully he is still on steroids, but just doesn't get caught this time.

Trade Dwyane Wade.

It is surprising that Kemba Walker is being shoved aside. Beside the fact that mayo's production is blatantly unsustainable, Kemba has simply been the better player - better penetration, better passer, better rebounder, better just about everything except 3 point shooter. his usage is the same as last year, and he is producing despite the fact his 3 point shot isn't falling. While on the other hand, Mayo's production is pretty much the same, if not worse, but he is scoring at a clip that is not going to stay the same. what it comes down to, is which guys production is more sustainable? It has to be kemba to this point. If Mayo shoots 60% from 3 all year, well then yeah, hand him the award. I'll take the odds and say his percentage comes down to a still very good 40% or so, and considering nearly half his attempts our 3's, its pretty safe to say his scoring, about all he is doing right now, is going to go down. Kemba's production is likely to take a hit too, he probably won't shoot 48% on long 2's all year, but he is taking 6.6 shots at the rim (Mayo is taking 2.8) and making them at a near 60% rate, opposed to 49% last year. At the same time, his 3 point shooting likely won't stay at 20% all year either. I don't like giving the award to a sophomore, but the way he is playing so far this year is pretty hard to ignore. I really hope he keeps it up, for the sake of that franchise. Also saying Asik deserves MIP is like saying Harden does. Just because your minutes go up doesn't mean you are a better player, it just means you are getting a chance. Asik is the same player he was last year, his rebounding rate is top notch I give him that, but this award goes to someone who makes big steps in their game, not someone who just gets more minutes. I don't think me watching the games is an issue (seen him plenty), we know what he is, and he is the same player, for the most part, that he was last year. I like Asik, but he does not deserve this award. Also another cool stat. Mayo's scores are assisted on 57.6% of the time. Kemba so far is at 24.5%. Its pretty cool how Kemba is producing considering he has so little help offensively.

No they're not. No excuse for Jersey to not walk all over the Celtics. EDIT: Brooklyn

Mike D'Antoni : Coach of the Lakers
Check my Stats replied to Zolor23's topic in Los Angeles Lakers Team Forum
If D'Antoni is actually planning on running... well let's just say I am very interested to see how this works out. -
45% from the field. Lulz. He has barely been a difference maker so far this year. He is basically a neutral on the court. The fact the defense is only marginally better with him on the floor opposed to off is alarming considering he is supposed to be an anchor defensively. Good rebounder though, i'll give him that much. Everyone can use a reggie evans type.

Where do you see Kemba Walker 3 years from now? I remember wondering around the draft, why is the best player in college considered a borderline top 10 pick? Kid is playing solid ball right now, what do you guys think about him? Keep in mind he is scoring at this clip despite shooting just 17% from 3. He is shooting a much better 58.7% at the rim opposed to 49% last year on nearly 3 times the attempts at the rim, but he is also shooting 48% on long 2's which is pretty unsustainable. Lets also remember he is doing all this as probably the best offensive option on his team and the Bobcats are 4-3! 4-3! So what do you think? Chalk it up to just 8 games in, or is there something here?

I don't know about Fields. Part of me is optimistic that after the surgery he will just be bad rather than non-NBA caliber, but I just can't help but feel that the issues extend beyond this injury, especially considering his numbers last year. Awesome about Lowry though, I was starting to worry it might be something serious, and hopefully it doesn't become serious. We need him badly right now. People are upset he isn't back for Saturday, but the fact they know what it is, and it is only a couple weeks, that is good news for my ears.
