well the longer the wait, and the more the injuries pile up, the less they are going to get for him. he is awesome but it isn't like he is playing 38 minutes a game and getting worn down, he is just made of glass. if I am a GM, at this point, I am not taking a flyer on Andrew Bynum. if I am the Lakers I IR his [expletive] until the finals.

It is hard to say, it really depends on how Hedo is used. As long as Nash remains in form, which you have to imagine he will, and J-Rich can give them close to 20 nightly, you have to figure they will win pretty close to 50 games. Hedo allows them to take the ball out Nash's hands, and use Nash as a shooter, one of the things he is the best in the league at. If Hedo as used as a shooter, like he was in Toronto, I don't expect him to make a huge impact. It will be interesting to see how things unfold, I really hate the idea of Hedo at the 4 though, I heard that going around that he might be playing there. I know Nash is awesome shooting of the dribble, but I'm not so sure about his spot up shooting, I don't watch them enough to know, but I have to assume he is pretty good shooting of the ball as well. If Hedo does well though, Nash's numbers, at least assists, are going to go down.... however if it works Nash's points could go way up.

Meh it will suck to have to be mediocre for 2 years, but if you ask Wade, I bet he will agree that it is worth it.

Knicks have been catching L's all off-season.... they should have just offered Gallo+Chandler+the picks from the start. The Bulls, once again, managed to miss out on another superstar who wanted to play there because they were stingy. Unreal deal for Denver if it happens.

How does that happen? If they get him then of course it is worth it, but how do they get him? He isn't an FA for 2 seasons.

In theory they should compliment Bosh perfectly.... Bosh shot 50% on isolation plays and a lot of jumpers, imagine how good his percentage will be with all the wide open 15 footers he will get off Wade/LBJ's penetration, all the dump off dunks like Pau/Bynum get. Bosh and Shaq wouldn't even be guarding on another, why are people saying this... and if they were Bosh would take advantage of Shaq as well, not to the same extent Shaq would rape him, but Bosh is a major mismatch for Shaq as well, especially if they just run him on the pick and roll/pop to death. There is equal likelihood that Shaq OR Bosh could be in major foul trouble, the only difference is Shaq in foul trouble leaves one legend on the court, while Bosh in foul trouble leaves 2.

You want Melo, but he isn't signing an extension with role players and Brook Lopez being the only thing when he gets there.

unless players are making a mockery of the game or disrespecting officials, they shouldn't be penalized. I already think it is ridiculous you get a t for hanging after a dunk. this is ridiculous though, stern is basically saying that you can't disagree with a call, and if you do you can't show any emotion during the game.

So what if he isn't comparable? He is still probably a top 20 player in the NBA lol, he is relevant to the discussion. We are talking about 4 hall of famers and a perennial all-star, the all-star definitely makes an impact in the discussion. Especially when he compliments Wade/LBJ so well.

I think we are talking about which team we would rather build around, not which groups have accomplished more together. EDIT: For the record I took Kobe and Shaq, I am just saying it isn't as far fetched as some are making it seem to take the trio, provided you have a good argument to back up your decision.
