  1. This is a major blessing, now Weems will get more minutes, I am pretty sure Weems is > Barnes, I just don't see it with Barnes.
  2. young money sonny obviously, he continues to get better at an extremely fast rate, he has great chemistry with our core players and is awesome in the open court. He probably won't start the first 20 games but I promise he will be playing more minutes than Kleiza by season's end.
  3. Sometimes when I click the link on my bookmarks it doesn't respond right away, the page won't display, it usually does it 3 clicks in a row but on the 4th time or so it works.
  4. Amir Johnson> Peep the youngunz dunk comp.
  5. Lol this looks wack dudes are getting smashed left and right, no close games.
  6. I wish I had gold/was good at this game because this looks cool.
  7. Do you understand the concept of past/present tense in wording?
  8. I disagree with that Jazz grade, I think swapping out Boozer for Jefferson is outstanding value considering Jefferson is considerably younger and will probably improve playing under a coach like Jerry Sloan. Jefferson is still only 25 years old and is on an extremely manageable contract for the production he could potentially give the Jazz. Maybe on the basketball court for the coming season, it is a B-, but for the Jazz as a franchise moving forward I think it is better than giving Boozer the 5/80 (or more) to retain him as he pushes 30 years old. I can't judge the Suns deal personally until we see how Hedo is used. If he is used as a spot up shooter like you suggested you can expect another bad statistical year just more shots because of the offense. If the Suns intend on using him as a ball handler and Nash as a shooter sometimes, then Hedo might help make them a better team, this is something i think that Gentry suggested, and something that would be very interesting seeing as Nash is pretty much a deadly shooter while Hedo is extremely streaky. I am still confused what Hedo found more enticing about Phoenix to waive his trade kicker, maybe he just wanted out of Toronto badly, maybe he was promised more ball handling duties, or maybe he is just excited to play in an offense where he can launch the first shot he wants.
  9. It isn't the same thing because Magic and Larry weren't friends. Wade, LBJ and Bosh are all friends at least one level or another. And MJ and Magic didn't play 7 years with role players, God damn that LBJ and wanting to play with good players.
  10. It sucks that LA doesn't have a 3rd huge star, because I think a lot of people are going to view this as Kobe vs LBJ and Wade, but forget that the Lakers have such a stacked roster top to bottom. I think this is the matchup all of us are waiting for, I don't think there is any doubt that these are the two teams that will be in the finals, their talent levels are heads above all the other teams. The two best players go at it in LBJ and Kobe, maybe the two best offensive bigs not named Dirk in the same game, and then Miller, Wade and the rest vs Bynum, Odom and Artest... obviously this isn't the literal match-ups but this is how I am looking at it, despite it being 'Wade's team' lol. Not to mention the Laker's 3-peat on the line with Phil Jackson in his last year, there are so many awesome storylines. Hopefully we get this dream matchup.
  11. Thankfully it is only 2 years, I had visions of a 4 year 16 million dollar deal or something.
  12. We have Demar who is going to need to get a solid 32 minutes on the wing, Sonny is going to earn 20-25 minutes and Linas will probably get around that as well, there isn't many minutes for Barnes here, and considering that there are contenders interested in him, we are probably going to have to be giving him an enticing deal to come here. Him being here just means less minutes for the young guys like Sonny.
  13. I don't think Dwight is even in his prime yet. Dwight's lane intimidation is on another level compared to KG and he has the ability to disrupt entire offenses. But KG was an amazing man defender, and a good help defender as well. He was smarter than Dwight is, crafty on D and was scrappy to boot. He was also able to bring the ball up the floor occasionally which was awesome to watch a damn near 7 footer dribble it up. Dwight is still inconsistent defensively, especially man to man, and he has a tendency to think he can block every single shot that goes up. I think KG was better but Dwight could be there soon.
  14. He seems to have way more of an offensive touch to his game than Nene, Nene is a solid player but Cousins looks like he has major upside.
  15. He would be useless here for so many reasons.
  16. The best player in the league needs the best house in the league.
  17. Durant is so overrated, I remember dudes saying he was the MVP last year which was rather hilarious, I don't even like Melo but he is definitely better. Will Durant eventually be better? Maybe, hell even probably, but right now Melo is better offensively and defensively (which is sad because Melo is nothing special defensively). I think KD got somewhat exposed by Artest in the playoffs, he kept taking stepback after stepback but Ron just locked him up. I love KD's attitude, I love his overall game and skillset combined with his size and athleticism, but he isn't going into the discussion with superstars like Melo quite yet for me. He needs to come back next year even more complete, he needs to keep getting better on both sides of the ball and become more than just a scorer.
  18. Someone school me on this kid, I hate on him but I haven't given him a chance, I only kept like 2 tracks off his new record, link me to his mixtapes that show me he has rapping talent.
  19. Kind of a bad comparison but you know what he is talking about, he is just excited about the prospect of winning a ton of games this year for the first time in a while.
  20. If he could at least be a threat from long distance that would be huge, he seems to work best of screens right now so if the defender goes under or the big doesn't come out to play him, he has to be able to stick the jumper.
  21. That little turd is lucky LBJ didn't stomp him into the ground.
  22. This season and moving forward, playing with Raymond Felton opposed to Steve Nash, what are your expectations for STAT.
